No longer happy with this establishment and wish I could give 0 stars.This used to be my favorite restaurant until they changed their recipes. I dont eat a lot of foods due to medical reasons and their chicken tenders were one of my only food choices. The new recipe is terrible and the breading is spicy. The French fries no longer have taste. My boyfriend gets the grandma sampler and he said it also didnt taste as well as before. I think changing these recipes was a mistake. I will no longer be coming here and neither will my family since I was the only reason they did. If you decide to bring back the recipes Ill gladly come back.The food may have changed but the staff is still great! They were very nice and accommodating to the issue. The only problem is the food.The picture order is original then new. You can tell the difference.Update:I emailed the customer care 5/10/21 as the requested and never heard back.

We love Cracker Barrel for its absolutely Fabulous down home favorites in food. I love the HashBrown Casserole, its so very tasty. My husband loves their eggs and pancakes. Especially the Maple 🍁 Syrup. Its awesome. I love their Ruben. And least I forget Meatloaf, Fried Chicken, Mac n Cheese. Believe me you cant go wrong eating at Cracker Barrel. But I must remind you to save some money for theyre General Store! Fabulous one of a kind gifts, toys cards,candy and clothing. I know youll be able to walk off your meal while shopping in the exquisitely stocked General Store. They also have seasonal items to eat or purchase. Im certain that Ive missed something, so check out Cracker Barrel, youll love it.

Deb was amazing. She helped use find our goodies and was an ABSOLUTE delight to be around. Even when we were leaving she was so enthusiastic and charismatic!!

We decided to have lunch here. There was about a 10 minute wait for a table. I had the country fried chicken with mashed potatoes with gravy and carrots. This is my go to meal here, it’s so delicious! Luis was our server and he was great, very friendly and accommodating and went out of his way to make everything nice for us. I love Cracker Barrel and definitely recommend it

This place is delicious! Tastes like home cooked food, the waitresses and waiters are nice, and the service is reasonable as well as the prices are reasonable. The gift store that they have is so much fun you could spend an hour in there and spend tons of money! Nice for family as well as couples. Highly recommended

My mom and I were in the area visiting a friend and I decided to bring her to this location as shes never been to a Cracker Barrel before due to distance from home. We arrived in the morning and while the wait to be seated was only a few minutes the host quickly sat us down soon after and apologized for the wait.A waitress arrived soon after we sat down and took our orders and was very patient with both my mother and I who were indecisive on what to get. Our orders arrived in about 10-15 minutes after we placed them and while your experience may vary we did arrive on a weekday morning around 10am.We were pleasantly surprised at the amount of food we received and while the sugar ham my mom ordered was a bit too sweet we did enjoy all other items from our orders. Im not sure if the orange juice is freshly made or not but it did have plenty of pulp in it which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Its okay cracker barrel seems to be basically good the vegetables are good I think the portions are a little small my daughter does like the fried Chicken fillets okay but I would not order it again I will definitely stick with the fried catfish fillets thats my favorite

Second chances... Happy Thoughts...Stopped by after Sunday service, this time around I notice the parking lot full, so I expected a long wait. When I sign in the host said ...about 15 minutes I thought great itll be better than last time... Wrong! 35 minutes later, were seated. Two servers walked by and didnt even say hi. Twelve minutes later, a server finally come over and takes our order, I ordered my favorite: buttermilk pancake w/side of sausage. 20 minutes later our food arrives: plate is warm, food is not, again the pancake is a third of the size it used to be and sausage looks like it was in the microwave too long. My hopes were misplaced :(

Sat for about 40 minutes before a manager walked up and asked if wed been seen by a server yet. We hadnt. He took our order and brought us our drinks and we didnt get to see the server until we got our food. She was very sweet and so was the manager, just a little disappointing since I am also a server. Food was kind of bland and not very flavorful. My boyfriends roast beef was held together by a giant piece of fat. My chicken pot pie was pretty good though, I did enjoy it. Better luck next time!

Was there two months ago and back today just a little while ago AND again food Not Hot.One piece of chicken Hot other one warm... Broccoli and Mashed potatoes warm... Chicken Pot Pie in between warm and hot! Not happy with the facility!

Horrible experience we sat at the table for over 15 minutes and not one waiter or waitress came to serve us. Yes we were the only black people in the establishment. Will never pardon that store and restaurant ever again

The food was as usual Cracker Barrel. Our issue was that our servers nails were so long that when she served us our food her nails ended up in and all over our food. Im sorry but I know that this is not a normal practice for those in the food service industry.

I arrived during rush hour, and realized there several guests in line. The host team successfully sat each guest quickly at clean tables - that I later realized they also bussed! - As a result, there was no wait and my table was clean, which isnt the case everywhere during lunch rush!My server, Savannah, was very quick to greet me, and take my order. I was impressed when another server brought my order out, hot and fresh. Theyve practiced great teamwork skills, and it shows.Afterward, I rummaged around the retail store and found some cool items. The checkout staff were both super nice and friendly.Overall, I had a great experience!

2nd time in three weeks we have came to this Cracker Barrel and we have walked out.Three couples seated after us and they were waited on. We were ignored . We will not be back to this Cracker Barrel on I-4 &579 in Tampa

I was to embarrassed to complain in front of my company. Food was either soggy or hard depending on the bite Id take. Waitress seen the good was hardly eaten and we still paid full price. Terrible

Its incredible they have beautiful clothes & accessories, always have a sale rack. Every display is different, they update their displays once a week, I found some gorgeous Fathers Day gifts & the staff are pleasant. Of course the food is DELICIOUS & reasonably priced. Once we had poor service with our waiter the management noticed since I had to get up to search for lemon, straws & ask for a to go box myself and go order they came over instantly without me saying anything and took a deduction from our bill. This cracker barrel goes above & beyond to please their customers.

Great food (try the grandma sampler) their personal miniature bottled syrup. All types of apparel for all occasions. I definitely will be back.

Mom and I ordered online. We ordered chicken fried steak with 2 sides each. We went pick-up the order, got home and all the side were there but, only one fried steak, moms, so I called for replacement we settled on a refund. The lady I spoke with said that someone should have told me that they ran out of cube steak but no one said a word. I replied that Ill not order from them again.

My first and last. Worse waitress ever I wished I could remember her name she forgot to serve us our drinks while we were waiting and also forgot to order my moms take out and I asked for sweet tea the first time and had unsweetened for the next time. If 5 tables are to much well take only 2 and give them the best

The way to get inside is 15 minutes but once you sit down you wont get your food for almost an hour. They brought me small amount of food then didnt bring me the drinks. Everyone was not happy that was inside many people ended up walking out not a good location and that was the first time Ive had a bad experience in cracker barrel

Wow, probably the worst store Ive been to in the U.S. I travel up and down the east coast non stop and I live in Tampa and have gone to this location 3 times and it is just an awful experience. I dont know if its the kind of people that come to their store that make it bad or if its just really poorly managed. My order has NEVER not been wrong. Service takes upwards of 40 minutes to get food. We didnt get drinks for twenty minutes the second time. The manager was waiting on a table hand and foot next to us, catering to their every need, while we sat there and 20 minutes after we ordered and were told that they didnt have what my husband ordered. Manager wouldnt make eye contact or talk to us at all and we looked at him several times. Waiter didnt know what I was ordering, I said I get this every single time I come and then comes out a minute later and says no we dont have that. This place is ridiculous. The only reason is has 2 stars is because its pretty hard to screw up pre made food and that is good. Im not sure how the store didnt manage to mess up that too.

A while back I had been in and the hashbrown casserole didnt taste right. That happened 2 times. Im not one to give up on the hashbrown casserole so back again. This time they were perfect. I guess others were a titch miffed also.And by the way. They now have a breakfast appetizer. Cause, well it just makes sense doesnt it. And it takes a bit of time to decide what to have for breakfast. Eggs, french toast, biscuits and gravy. It is the most important meal of the day. Right?Order the hashbrown casserole tater tot thing. Im not sure what its called. Just get it . Its the right thing to do.

Online ordering kept hanging up x3. Had to finally order pickup in store. Order 15 min late as they had it in the curbside pickup area.Food was not warm but my husband said blueberry pancakes were delicious. My biscuits & gravy & bacon was OK. Will probably get food again.

It was very good. I had the meatloaf for the first time and it made me really miss my mom. I know it’s famous for its breakfast, but you have been dumped recently, or your just having a bad day, nobody’s comfort food can hold a candle to this place. After the first couple of bites, you will forget what was even bothering you.

The food is good. Just the staff has no training in Customer service. I was waiting in line and a waitress stepped in front of me to pay for her lunch because she was getting off. Rude.

I have yet to have a less than excellent Experience to any of the Cracker Barrels locations. From Florida to New York State, each time the service, food, professionalism, and friendliness is spot on! People are quick to judge for bad service, so I think we should make it known when we experience great service as well! Kudos to all the Cracker Barrels and their staff, near and far!!!!

Love Cracker Barrel and the country store. When we vacation my experience has always been consistent quality and tasty comfort food. This location is close to my home and we get take-out once in awhile. My favorite is their signature Southern Fried Chicken. Crispy, salty, and moist chicken.

WOW!!! 5 years loyal customer at this location, we tried to place a to go order today asking 4 TIMES and NOTHING, the cashier asked the server and the server did not care, very sad, so I had to ask for a manager, the asst. manager came so i told her of my disappointment that no one wanted to take our order after asking 4 times. later the server came and told one of the cashiers she was trying to get a tip from a customer and that we were not the priority, We love Cracker Barrel but to place a simple to go order should not require me to ask for a manager to take it, please fix the issues we want to spend our money with your company but treating your loyal customers poorly does not help your business.

Very disappointed. Normally love Cracker Barrel, but at best this location was having a bad night!Took long time to get food, and when we finally did it was all cold. One side dish was not what was ordered. Replacement never came until meal was over and only after I reminded them again. It, too, was cold. Besides being cold, food was tasteless and not up to normal Cracker Barrel standards.On the positive side, our server, the cashier, and all staff we encountered were very friendly and trying hard.

This place use to be awesome now the food aint that great and management and staff not so great dont know if its just this location but hopefully the rest of them are better just being honest

We love Cracker Barrel but this location seemed in disarray. Took a long time for a server to come to our table and the place was not busy. The server was friendly but overwhelmed and many of the items we ordered were missed. Waited a long time for drink refills and the portions were skimpy compared to other locations. Only one cashier on duty as well. The best part of the experience was the ease of paying with the app.

Large party of 12 were accommodated at one table, waitress was exceptional! Lunch and dinner trays were good but the breakfast was lacking. Overcooked sausage and eggs, undercooked eggs for another, took a long time to even receive biscuits but once they got there they were fresh and hot. This was on Easter Sunday so we understood the wait, which wasnt too bad considering of you call ahead and get on the wait-list.

The food was very good and I will come back every time my waitress was very nice who was on the time and the drinks is perfect

The food is what you know it to be, good southern food for a restaurant-style franchise. Their to-go/pick-up orders process could use some work though.The pandemic has made us aware of lots. One of those things is we want options to pick up and go quickly.Another thing is, I want to know the day(s) of the week when the deep frying oil gets changed because on this last visit it was clear that we bought chicken near the end of that change-out-cycle. The chicken was not good, not good at all. Im not sure if it was just old cooking oil and/or was the chicken from the day before. Whichever it was Im asking next time BEFORE I order.

Took my daughter and her hubby out for brunch. Service was great and the food was good. Some of the food was quite bland but that is why there is salt and pepper at the table

What an awful experience. Starting with the rude host/hostess person who was annoyed they had to find us a table. We were then totally ignored for at least 40 minutes. Drinks went unfilled. Portion sizes were extremely small and food was like warm. Just go somewhere else.

This place was typically really good, but it has gone downhill. Our dinner took over 2 hours. The service was the worst. The waitress never refilled our drinks, the appetizers came out at almost the same time as the dinner. We asked for biscuits but those never came out to us.The food was cold when it eventually arrived about 2 hours after we were seated, but we were all starving at that time and we never complain when we go out to eat regardless as we have all worked in hospitality. We learned our lesson by going there and we will never be back.

We always enjoy our breakfasts at Cracker Barrel. The service is friendly and excellent. Masks and distancing in place and we actually ate outside today. It was lovely! The food was hot and delicious. We recommend it highly.

Our server should probably find a different field. It was probably 20 minutes before our drinks were even ordered, and even then, our order was taken by a neighboring server who noticed we’d been neglected. It also seemed that adjacent tables had trouble with their orders, and a giant dish collection was dropped which sent glass ricocheting across the room, impacting guests. Also note that tables are not spaced anywhere close to 6 feet apart. Our meals were good but sadly overshadowed by an otherwise poor experience.

We love CB, but for the first time we had a very slow waitress. She forgot almost everything we had requested, like straws, napkins, more coffee, more cream, and more. Also what happened to the haddock? Still great home cookin, but lets give the waitresses a tray.

Hands Down Perfect my family has rated this place a whopping 9.7 out of 10. The food was impeccably cooked and flavored and our server Mohammed was super polite and very attentive. I will definitely be going back soon. And I believe Zachary I think was the guy at the register, thank you for helping me out in the front as well as giving me a good laugh especially after I almost tipped over from the Itis 😆 🤣 😂

I gave the rate of five stars because our server was awesome and also the male gentleman that showed us to our table he was very nice on that particular Sunday I had my service animal with me and the manager Miss shoemaker was constantly on me and my grandma first she asked if hes a service animal shes required to ask that and I said yes then as I was chopping up carrots to put in my hand to feed to my dog she came back out and said that Im not supposed to feed my dog so I said I needed it in writing and she did present it and writing but it said that we are not to allow the dogs to eat off of the plate my dog was not eating off that plate and I felt very attacked by Miss shoemaker Im calling corporate Monday and I hope to get a resolution for her behavior that she displayed on this thing and actually its the day that I posted this so this is the day that that happened my dog is a 5 lb miniature poodle and he was in a bag he was inside of my purse in a bag and I was feeding him tearing the biscuit off and giving it to him feeding him that way out of my hand so if I had to rate the cracker barrel alone off of Miss shoemaker service I would give it a minus 00.0

Went to this place on the way home from Tampa and it was 9 of us! I will tell you the waiter named Kenneth was wonderful!! He was patient and gor all of our orders right! He was the best ever

Consistently good food and good service. I go to either this, or Wesley Chapel CB at least once per week. My only complaint is the mens room needs more attention during peak times.

It is not the first time, they promise you 40 minutes when is too long to wait and you really wait 2 hours to be able to sit down. Sadly on fathers day last year they didnt call me after 2 hours of waiting.this was my last time that I will think about having breakfast in this place. Fortunately there are many other restaurants with better service. I wont recommend that place.

So went an side at 6:35 on June 23rd the person at the cashier was very rude i should have talked to the manager but didnt. The food was late. When i got the food i went home i live 2 minutes away the food was COLD and food was missing. I spent over 35.00 dollars never again

Greeted & seated immediately by the hostess, Steph. Cracker Barrel is always packed on Saturday, so I anticipated at least a 15-20 minute wait. Au contraire, Ms. Steph seated us quickly & courteously. I saw large stuffed animals for $9.99. Great price, Steph held them for me until I finished eating! 😉 Great service. Breakfast was good, eggs ordered medium, came out perfectly. Scrambled ordered dry...they were dry but not brown! Way to go, cook! Betty, Airel & Matt all assisted in an overall great 5 star experience. Only faux pas...our server. No name nec, but not attentive. Didnt even return to take our order. Tsk, tsk.

My friend and I tried this particular restaurant, we had not been to this Cracker Barrel before. Bad Service. We ordered our food, never received it. We left. This is the worst of the worst. We will never return to this particular restaurant ever again. We love Cracker Barrel, BUT NOT THIS ONE.
