Some of the smaller cat items I purchase do not have a huge mark up either which is great as I prefer to purchase from a local store rather than online. I actually found Feed Pet Purveyor when making an online purchase for a designer dog crate. I had purchased this exact crate from another store previously, but the order was cancelled due to the item being out of inventory. I called Feed Pet Purveyor and spoke with Jenni (the owner) to verify that the item was in stock. Unfortunately, the supplier was out of inventory and Jenni regrettably had to cancel my order. However, Jenni took it upon herself to call around on my behalf and locate a store that had the dog crate in their current inventory and even negotiated a near price match for my original purchase. Through her facilitation I was able to purchase the crate as a gift for my boyfriend. Im redesigning his office and had this dog crate in my original design plans for the office makeover; without Jennis assistance I may not have found this item. It is rare to find a business owner that treats you like a person rather than a transaction. I have been to the store several times and Jenni and her staff are very caring, knowledgeable and attentive. My dog had become very sick with kidney disease and I knew the prescription food that her Vet recommended was not the answer. Jenni offered me several different food samples to see what would work best for my picky eater. She also directed me to some websites where I could find more information on proper diets for dogs with chronic kidney disease.They also have a large selection of treats, including a case filled with all sorts of freeze-dried options and bully sticks. Overall a fantastic pet supply shop!

Love the women who owns this shop! She is passionate and informed. Weve switched our golden to the food she sells here and she has lost so much weight. She also loves the food and didnt get sick at all during the transition. She also has a wide variety of cute toys, treats, leashes, pet bowls, beds, etc. Im so happy we found Pet Purveyor!

At the recommendation of friends, I visited Pet Purveyor with my dog, Magic. Proprietors Jenni and her husband, Ryan were extremely knowledgeable and super-friendly even allowing Magic to roam the entire store and behind the counter. As a person dedicated to natural health for myself and Magic, I learned a lot from Jenni. The store is adorable, well-stocked and just plain fun! Our purchases were sent home in a beautiful burlap, reusable bag and I know, well be revisiting soon!

Small and quiet, old school pet shop.

Super knowledgeable, helpful and awesome products. My boxer kept getting infected sores on her paws and after multiple trips to her vet and dermatologist, we only found temporarily relief. Pet purveyor (sweet Jenni) saved us! After recommending a food sensitivity test and different food, Mylee has slimmed down, is more active and her paws look great! I can’t thank pet purveyor enough. They have a life long customer in Cincinnati, Ohio.

I called Jenni in a panic regarding some not so great news regarding my cats kidneys and she not only helped me select a new food per the vets recommendations, she also went out of her way to soruce MORE infomation and send me research papers written on the subject my cat is dealing with. Jenni is a GEM !! The community in South Tampa is lucky to have her.
