The two mechanics Brandon and Chris, work so hard in explaining whats wrong, then accomplishing it, and understanding the need of getting our equipment back. I’ve bought (echo) equipment from them and had good experiences. But when I returned for a simple repair they say a two week turnaround. I asked if I could make a reservation (pay?) and bring it back in about a week and a half. Nope. I mean I’m just a homeowner and that dog won’t hunt. Can’t imagine if I were a commercial guy. Time to find a new mower place.

Desiree was also great in assisting me after I purchased my new HD Gravely and going over all the recommended maintenance schedules. When I find a place that treats you well, are knowledgeable and friendly I stick with them. Thats why I will keep going to Grass Pro Shop. The staff is always friendly and Tony goes above and beyond to treat you right. He did a great job on major repairs on one mower and gave solid advise and a good deal for me to buy another. In this world where customer service doesnt seem to matter, it is refreshing to go to a place where it still means a lot!

Very poor service on the mechanics part. Took my Dixie chopper up for a simple center spindle change. When I was paying I heard the one person say we can do that were not going to make much on this one. When I got home to unload the mower I noticed the deck was off. When I lowered the deck it was loose and just not put back together right. So I took it back walked in the office the lady looked at me and said is something not right? I told her the deck wasnt right and she said great. Like they already knew it wasnt right and the mechanics just raised the deck so I wouldnt notice and sent it out. When I looked at it the lift chain for the deck wasnt on right and they cut a link out. When I asked about the link they cut out the 2 mechanics that worked on it told me yeah when you dripped off your mower the one side of the deck was dragging the ground so we cut a link out of that side. I know it wasnt dragging the ground because I was just using it the day before and it was fine. Then when I picked it up the next day they cut a link out of the other chain to make it level. That threw off the number system for the deck height. I asked if they took the deck off completely or not and they said no. Well once I ordered over 100 dollars worth of deck parts I noticed all the deck mounting hardware was on backwards and upside down. It wasnt that way when I dropped it off.Moral of this is dont trust these mechanics with Dixie choppers. They clearly dont know how to work on them. I took it for the spindle and that works fine but they really screwed up my deck by removing chains so I had to fix that myself.The office people were nice and tried to help me out. I have no issue with them. Just their lying mechanics that lied to my face and told me I was wrong. Will never take this mower there to be fixed. However I will still buy blades and other needs from them.

I would absolutely recommend Grass Pro Shops on Falkenburg Rd.I dont live close to this store but, Danielle and Jennifer, at the front counter, are what makes this place so incredible. Their customer service has won me over as a customer that will keep coming back, and recommend them. I needed repairs to my Dixie Chopper, and couldnt get into the place where I had purchased it, so I gave Grass Pro a shot. Not owning a trailer, I used their delivery service with Dan. Every time I called in I was greeted by a very friendly and professional member of the staff, and when Dan came and picked / dropped off the mower, he was extremely kind.The true test, and what really impressed me was when the mower was returned and not fixed all the way. There was no arguing, no attitude, no hesitation. Dan was immediately at my door to take it back in, and the next day they had it repaired right. Tom personally called me and explained where the mistake had been made, and how it was corrected. We can all make mistakes, but how those mistakes are handled makes all the difference. How they owned up to, fixed the problem, and made it right speaks volumes about the kind of people that work here. From the office staff, mechanics, Tom, and Dan. Its rare to find that kind of business, and worth going out of my way or paying a little extra when I find it.

Tampa Bay and the other Gravely dealers take notice regarding customer service, honest quotes, and quality work. That’s what Kevin and Chris provide at Grass Pro in Tampa FL. EVERYONE at this shop was incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable! Even over the phone Kevin, Danielle, Dez, and Brandon were all exceptionally friendly. I brought my 13 year old Gravely in for drive belt repairs, turned out there were numerous issues, but instead of surprising me with additional repair costs and labor, Kevin and Chris showed me the issues, kept me informed frequently, and honored the original quote for labor!! Who does that?!? Not most shops in this area…and you know who you are!?! BTW they did this the same day and actually has all the (OEM) parts on hand…need I say more! OUTSTANDING WORK Grass Pro!

Although I end up having my chainsaw repaired by Grass Pro Shops (due to time constraints), the nice lady who answered my call referred me to another place that was able to meet my very short time table. New update I went up there to purchase a new mower and thats a way a shop should treat you I bought a brand new ex-mark laser Z 52 inch with some nice upgrades for a great deal Not to mention he sends his lead mechanic outside go over every aspect of that mower with me this way I know how to properly care for her not that I am new to this Ive been in it for 8 years but theres always new things to learn especially about a new piece of equipment 3 Days go by I put on my 1st 10 hours need my 1st oil change give them a call they tell me bring it on in will get it right in for you that is service So far so good I was even in a bind the other day my main mower was already in the shop & my backup blew a belt I dont know how to put them on myself even though it was a week wait on shop repairs they told me we will get it right in for you since your in such a bind had it back to me a couple hours later that type of stuff goes a long way with me. I use to buy all my stuff from big Bill down the road off of adamo by the car dealers If you are in the area & in the business you probably know who Im talking about I dont want to give him any type of publicity the guy is a pure sleaze bag who will try to pinch every $ out of u while he lies to your face & says hes only making 10 -20% depending on what it is & how he can relate to you because hes such a hard worker hes only lying to himself!!! Since Ive found GRASS PRO SHOPS they have won my business!!!

Fantastic! I recently brought my 48 xmark ZTR mower in which was giving me multiple issues including some engine and hydraulic trouble. The mower was used with about 700 hours on it when it was given to me as a housewarming gift. Jeremy went through my mower with a fine toothed comb-Verified the issues I knew about, and pointed out the ones I was unaware of. The original quote was just under $700.00 to repair everything, fix the hydros, and perform a full maintaince on the mower (outside of a simple sharpening of the blades and changing the oil- I honestly dont think anything was ever done to it) I relequently agreed knowing that the mower is worth FAR more than that and nothing has ever been done to my knowledge. Jeremy brought out EVERY HORSE in my 20 Horse power engine. It now runs faster, smoother and actually quieter.The best part was the bill. They quoted me just under $700.00 to fix everything- the final bill was $580.00Not often does someone come UNDER the quote and hold it.Thanks!
