I came here Twice for two different event, sign says open but no one is there. Door is lock and light is off. Phone number is incorrect on door. Do not waste your time going to this location.

We did what was asked and if it still didn’t fit that’s not our fault.” – Levin, Manager at Famous Fashions in TampaIf you are seeking a dress alteration in the Tampa area and want quality work performed, please take your business elsewhere. As Levin told me on the phone today, they do not specialize in alterations and do not take responsibility for any work done/not done by their on-staff seamstress. In addition, Levin, the store manager, does not possess the basic retail skills necessary to provide customer service or the professionalism to speak with customers in any capacity. Period.I took my bridesmaids dress to Famous Fashions to have a dress taken in on the sides and brought up in length. The work was performed in two separate sessions due to the “complexity” of the work being done. While an inconvenience (Estrella only works some days and when she does, her hours are 10am-1pm), I was willing to make two separate trips to Famous Fashion so that the dress would fit appropriately for my cousin’s wedding. For both fittings, I wore the exact shoes and only the undergarments that I planned to wear on the day of the wedding so that Estrella could take accurate measurements.On the day of the wedding, I discovered that the dress no longer fit as it did during trail and that one of the two clasps had been broken. As you’ll see in the photos, the dress still gapped significantly on the sides and back of the dress and the hem was not taken up as measured during the second fitting. The dress fit poorly and was noticeably too large. Aside from the fit, I felt like a burden to the bridal party who helped me tape, safety pin, and correct the dress so that it wouldn’t reveal too much as I walked down the aisle, stood in front of the church during the ceremony, or made an entrance with the bridal party. I also felt like a burden to the bride, my cousin, whose wedding photos will forever have a bridesmaid (me) strategically posed (thanks to the photographer!!) to mask the sloppy alteration work.I say all this to make it abundantly clear how significant this alteration was in the grand scheme of my cousin’s life event. However, when I called the store the following Monday (yesterday), Levin accused me of lying about the fit of the dress and insisted that the work had been done correctly. Levin also suggested that my inability to speak Spanish was to blame for this issue. Fortunately, my sister who is fluent in Spanish, attended the fittings to translate and as my witness was also shocked to discover that the alterations were not completed as discussed.More shocking was the fact that the store manager used such a hostile and accusatory tone with me, the customer, and expected me to prove that the ill-fitting dress was not my fault. What benefit would I have in paying $100 for a dress that did not fit properly? It would have been in my best interest to speak up if the dress was still too large or long. It was not my plan to pay $100 to be an unprepared bridesmaid.Today, after providing the photos and offering to go to the store to show Levin and Estrella the fit of the dress in person, Levin became more accusatory and defensive about the situation. Among other unprofessional comments, Levin’s response was “We do not specialize in alterations. We did what was asked and if it still didn’t fit that’s not our fault.”While I cannot change the past or make my cousins wedding day smoother, I hope that this lengthy review is helpful to potential customers so to they can make the informed choice to do business elsewhere and avoid the risk of having a similar experience. I assure you that your special event will be better because of it.

If no stars were an option that would be my choice. The owner is dishonest, unprofessional and rude. Terrible customer service. My daughter paid $100. To have a dress altered. He took her money and the dress wasn’t altered! Awful!!!!

I went in and the customer service was amazing, i found my suit for very quick almost took about 10 minutes, the cost was super affordable, including the alterations, I highly recommend you come here if you’re looking for a suit!
