Can’t say enough good things about George and the level of service. He traveled to my high and dry and performed an annual service on an ‘01 optimax engine. He knocked out the service as promised and had to fixed a mistake from the last mechanic I hired. Additionally during this service he noticed that the engine was barely attached to the mount as the nuts had completely rusted off. He FaceTime called and showed me the issue. He then coordinated with the marina and picked up the boat on his trailer and did the repair out at his shop. Week later I have a boat back and it’s running as good as it has ever run. George does great work and more importantly is a high integrity guy. Anyone can service a newer engine. George obviously has the skill set to deal with the abnormal. He will be the only shop that services my engines going forward. Can’t recommend him enough.

Amazing service! He was able to come out same day (within an hr) and quickly Identified the problem. He was able to walk me through the issue and showed me where the failure was in my fuel line on my 2018 Sea Ray. While explaining the issue, it was discovered that the work would be covered under the dealership warranty, and instead of hiding that fact and charging me hundreds of dollars like some dishonest companies/mechanics, he was upfront with the information and helped me collect the necessary information needed for the warranty work that would have to be done by the dealership.10/10 use this company. If you want someone who is fair and honest to look at your boat, that isnt going to rake you over the coals with unnecessary work and fees, I would 100% recommend Housecall Mobile Marine.

I contacted George with a Yamaha 250 stroke that wouldn’t start. Despite it being a holiday weekend coming up, he was willing to diagnose it over the phone, and made recommendations I could try on my own, in an effort to get it fixed. He ultimately came out to my place on short notice, diagnosed the problem in minutes, and gave me several options for the repair. I was able to do the repair on my own with his suggestions, which saved me hundreds of dollars. It was easy to tell he wasn’t just after the money, but genuinely wanted what was best for me. My boat/motor sat unused for two years on its davit and needed attention. I was referred to George and within days he came and took care of my problem. His associate, Bob, came well prepared and knew what he was doing. My boat now is running fine. I have no problem recommending Housecall Marine to anyone.

I think George might be a decent mechanic but when he told me that my engine would blow up if he ran it at full throttle for 15 minutes like I asked so that he would see the problem, I realized I couldn’t continue to let him work on it. I paid him almost $600.00 yet another mechanic had to fix it. Be advised.

George was very professional. We scheduled a time for him to meet me at a boat ramp, pull my boat and install my Simrad Cruise 7 Chartplotter. He was very punctual. On the day we met, I also requested that he resolve an issue with the anchor light and replace the freshwater pump. He completed all the work and returned the boat on the same day. i would not hesitate to use his company again.
