Actually used Justin w/ DNA MARINE REPAIR. At same location. He helped us out tremendously after we had a belt go out on our 26 foot Sea Ray. Recently got back into boating after 6 years. At that time, Sean helped me out of a bind. Fast forward and I used Sean to inspect and do some work on my new boat. As expected from my previous dealings with Sean, he came through. He is knowledgeable, honest, and will go out of his way to help his customers. I ask lots of questions - he is always patient with me and explains things to a non-mechanically inclined person like myself can grasp. If you are looking for a great boat mechanic in the Tarpon Springs area, do yourself a big favor and call Sean. He may be a bit busy (there is a reason for that), but you will be glad you did.

I have nothing but compliments for the service I received from S& S Marine Services. I flew down from Maine to look at a boat for sale in Tarpon Springs and Shown did a general inspection, compression check and computer diagnostic of the Yamaha outboard on the boat. He was very patient in explaining everything to me even when I asked a lot of questions. I wish he were my mechanic in Maine.

After my lower blew 7 miles offshore and getting towed back in, my Marina mechanic dropped the lower and noticed no gear oil. S&S serviced it 3 months prior, before I bought the boat, which I have the receipt. I never accused them of anything underhanded, just stated facts and mentioned the possibility of helping me out a bit as it’s going to be pricey. I brought them the lower to diagnose and figure out repair. After a week including 4 phone calls just to check status, which I was told each time “something came up, I’ll get to it tomorrow”. An entire week of this without taking even 1 hour to tear it down. They said they had just started when I called to tell them I was coming to get it. I asked my wife to pick it up as I was taking it to another mechanic. When she picked it up she noticed they were playing on, prepping, loading ATV’s for a weekend of “fun in the mud” as she was told by the counter staff. New mechanic shop had it torn down, diagnosed, and called me in just over an hour. Totally unprofessional and untrustworthy. I’d sell my boat before I took anything to them.

Excellent service, very reasonable cost and adhere to their word! Squeezed me in since guests were coming in for the weekend and couldnt get an appointment at the major dealers. S&S solved the fuel starvation problem on my 2005 60 HP 2 stroke Merc (16 Ft Sea Fox) and had it resolved a day earlier than promised. The cost was also lower than I anticipated.Theyve gained a loyal customer that I highly recommend.

Im new to the boating hobby and was having problems with my motor, trim and tilt. They took the boat and got it all back in order with everything working fine. It was a electrical mess. Very helpful and honest businessman will use them for any future needs.

These guys are the best. They are very knowledgeable and honest. Prices are fair as I can compare this with.other repairs I paid for on my boat with other shops. I wont use anyone else. Boat was left cleaner than when it was brought in!

DO NOT GET YOUR WORK DONE HERE! TOOK THEM 4 MONTHS JUST TO REDO OUR CARBS AND THEY DIDNT EVEN TEST IT OUT BECAUSE THEY HAD TO COME BACK 3 TIMES. THEN SAID ITS DONE AND TOOK MY DISABLED FATHER IN LAW OUT AND THE STEERING WAS OUT AND WE CRASHED. HOPEFULLY SHE LISTENS TO ME AND SUES THIS COMPANY AND PUTS THEM OUT OF BUSINESS. WORST SERVICE AND WORK IVE SEEN. THEN SENDS HER A BILL FOR 3,000!

Sean ( and Shaun) are great mechanics for your boat. We heard about them from our neighbor who keeps his boat in the water and only will let Sean touch it. Sean has worked on my boat a couple of times when I had issues with a malfunctioning Power Pole and putting in an auto-bilge. Recently we had our annual maintenance. Of course I had a bunch of little things I needed done as well and he also answered all of our questions. He is patient with us newer boaters. He is the only mechanic (and Marine Electrician) we trust. He is going to get us a new 10 foot Power Pole so we can stop in deeper water. We highly recommend Sean and Shaun at S&S Marine Services.

I had to give them one star or it would not let me post this so I really give them zero stars because he didn’t know what he was doing with are boat, he didn’t even hook are gauges back up. Told us to to scrap are newer motor and sell the boat, we took it to Buch at Weeki Watchi Marine in homossassa and he didn’t even work 3 hrs on it and had it running and his bill was only 300.00 compared to 1400.00 at S&S marine I have been told by a master marine machanic that Sean screwed us. I do not recommend this company at all😡😡😡😡

Sean is awesome people, we were stranded in the Gulf and he saw our flares and guided the Coast Guard to our location. Thank you brother, YOURE a good man which few are to be found today.
