I have been with this pharmacy around 10 years. There have been issues with different prescriptions from time to time. Currently, the situation has gotten worse. Walgreens has not been able to fill one of my prescriptions for several weeks. This has affected my health. Recently I attempted to transfer my prescriptions to another pharmacy. Walgreens has not responded to this request for a week. They simply don’t care.

Bad customer service. I went to do a covid-19 test on my toddler and they do not give me the instructions in the correct way to do the test and in the end they tell me with a bad attitude that “you will receive an email after results in 3 to 7 days”. If they do not want to work with a client, find another job where you do not have contact with clients

I’ve had many problems with this location. Truthfully, it’s my fault for not listening to over a dozen of people who have agreed the Tarpon Walgreens is horrible. After this last problem, I’m done!! How can they have my prescription for a week that I need to live and not put it in the computer? Not to mention a woman there cancelled it right when I got my Repatha card? Then they have the Gaul to call my doctor and complain. If it was anyone of them or their family, they would be just as mad! There’s a few more things I could post and prove. Tarpon Walgreens think they are in the right when they’re actually WRONG.These are the people we trust our life with. With all the proof I have. I hope this location takes me to court so I can prove them wrong and get them fired. Screw you Tarpon Walgreens!!!!!!!!!

Was prescribed Ivermectin by my doctor. Walgreens played games three different times while I was trying to get prescription filled. First time they said they never received prescription. 2nd time they said they were out. 3rd time they said my Dr. did not send in the correct quantity for prescription. It is obvious the games they are playing.

Called to see if a flu vaccine was covered by my insurance and was told No I dont think so. Your insurance doesnt cover any vaccines from our pharmacy. Called another Walgreens and sure enough my insurance pays 100% from Walgreens pharmacy. The girl was just too lazy to look it up

This Walgreens is a beautiful, clean store in a great location with a worthless pharmacy and useless customer service phone system. I recently moved to the area and my doctor recommended this Walgreens for a new prescription because it was close to home. I called them to check if my prescriptions were ready, but phone system didn’t recognize my number. I tried to enter every number I ever had in NY & CA and even the FL doctor’s office, but the system didn’t recognize anything, . I patiently participated in the tedious phone system menu choices to try to get customer service for the pharmacy. I was on hold about 15 minutes then they just hung up. I continued to call over next (2) weeks w/ same result every single time. I finally drove out to the store and the steel fence was rolled down over the pharmacy windows. I asked the cashier and she said they closed early.I’d been a Walgreens customer in CA, & NY and never encountered any pharmacy that was as totally dysfunctional as this store. Highly recommend driving a little further out to CVS on hwy #19 or using the local Anclote Pharmacy if you really need to get any prescriptions filled. This pharmacy is a total waste of time, but the FedEx counter is highly capable and convenient.UPDATE 5/26/2021:A neighbor recently advised that I need to sign up for their MyWalgreen card program for their answering system to recognize my phone number and accept calls to the pharmacy, but not worth the aggravation for me.

Worst pharmacy ever the pharmacist worst ever dont go there bad experience my doctor had to get on the phone with the pharmacist and they still refused to fill my script after the doctor explained to them how sick I am and they refused to fill my script my doctor told me in his 50 yrs of being a doctor he has never experienced such rudeness and disrespect and advised me to go to a different pharmacy and had to rewrite the script so I did as he told me to and went to CVS and they where so helpful and shocked at how Walgreens treated me and my GI doctor was apaled at how unprofessional the pharmacist was!

The pharmacy customer service is just bad. Never greet a person. Pharmacist hides from tough questions. There is disconnect between email alerts and reality. Serious questions get different answers from different pharmacists. I am changing for better service.

The most incompetent pharmacy I have ever had the displeasure of using. When the cardiologist sent in a prescription for my mother (who is recovering from breast cancer and had just had a heart episode), the pharmacy called ONCE to see if the prescription should be for 30 days or 90, and when they didnt receive a response, they never filled it nor deigned to contact the doctor or the patient. When the situation was supposedly resolved and the pharmacy was going to fill the prescription, they said it would only take an hour. Several hours later, they still hadnt even started. My father went to the pharmacy in person to demand an explanation and was told it would be filled soon and that they would call him. My father waited in the parking lot for an hour and saw a number of cars pass through the drivethru without delay. He went to the drivethru to find that the prescription had been filled 20 minutes ago and no one had called him. The prescription was for an inhaler and medication but as the inhaler wasnt covered under my mothers insurance, they didnt include it. They did not communicate this to my father - they could have easily said that the inhaler wasnt covered and that they had other inhalers that were covered (we know this is true).On a related note, the same hospital had sent in a prescription that still wasnt filled after this whole ordeal - Walgreens insisted they were working on it. My mother had an appointment scheduled with her GP and brought this to the doctors attention. The doctor immediately called the pharmacy, chewed them out, and the prescription was ready within the hour. It should not take a physicians intervention to receive even the most basic of customer service. I will never use this pharmacy again, and will hesitate to make any purchases at other Walgreens locations in the future.

This pharmacy is the worst, so slow always a wait. They give me scripts I didn’t asked for, and didn’t fill the ones I requested.My daughter went to pick up my script on Saturday evening about 6:50 she arrived and the pharmacy was closed, but they say their unit six. They don’t have enough help to service there costumers efficiently. A wait at the drive through and inside the store, and they don’t seem to care.The WORSTMary-Ellen Flynn

Store Sold me an expired product and won’t Let me return it— and the “manager On duty” obviously doesn’t like her job and doesn’t like to serve customers!! RUDE and Did nothing to help but make the customer the fault for buying an expired product!What kind of “manager” doesn’t attempt to make it right for the customer?Waste of time and money going to that store.

Weve been using this store - and pharmacy - since 2003. Its silly not to use it because it is extremely convenient and located minutes from our home (near Howard Park). Store is clean and folks that work there seem to stay there - which is rare, these days. In the few times Ive been unhappy with anything, the store manager(s) responded appropriately and quickly. In my most recent experience, there was some type of computer mix-up with one of my auto-refill meds. Rose, Pharmacy Tech, and the Pharmacist on duty, went above and beyond to resolve my issue quickly and completely. So, it is possible to enjoy a Mom & Pop feel, pharmacy experience with a big name pharmacy chain.

24 hour pharmacy is very convenient and rare now a days...but the service is way to slow. They also messed up my medication twice, once stating the dosage doesnt exist. They filled it a few days later.

I was in this place at 12 a.m. and the cashier an older woman with a bad attitude screaming at her and taking care of me for being Hispanic. Look for people who are qualified for that work. My money is worth the same as that of the Americans.

Ever since their epic, catastrophic, computer meltdown, this hellhole has not been able to anything right. I have come here 3 times now, THREE!, to pick up my girlfriends medications. THREE! We managed to pick up 2 of her 6, over THREE! visits, because these incompetent $*%&-swizzlers called to let us know the prescriptions (presumably all 5 remaining) were ready for pick up. They called her mother multiple times to let her know they were ready. The next time I show up here, I will be bringing a lawyer to rename this store Silvermans Incompetence Emporium should we not get EVERY SINGLE F*$&ING prescription her doctor ordered. They were all sent here, TWICE! Where TF did they go?THIS IS BEYOND INCOMPETENCE. Rectify this before you call anyone again or criminal negligence and harassment will end you in court.-XOXOXOP.S.: Ta any one not working at Walgreens that reads this, DONT COME HERE. They arent worth your business. The WInnDixie down the road has everything you can find here at better prices.

Worst pharmacy ever. You will wait forever in line inside and through the driveway. They only have 2 people working most the time. I don’t recommend filling any prescriptions at this location. Not to mention they never apologize for the wait and I’ve been waiting for 25 minutes in the drive thru as I’m typing this.

Ask for Nanette - Manager of the pharmacy, ior Mr. Pappas the Store manager, its the only way to get anything done at this store. If you complain they threaten to call the police. Call 1800walgreens make a formal written complaint, this store has lowest service levels and highest pharmacist turnover in the chain.Never has anything in stock, worst service, pharmacist always too busy to talk to you.When they call you back to speak with you the number on the caller id is not correct and if you call it you get another business totally.Also if you want to call the store the walgreens national call center answers the phone and they are even less helpful than the store itself.Dont waste your time with this store go right across the street to tarpon discount drugs where they actually ANSWER THE PHONE have great prices and give good old fashioned customer without keeping you waiting. I went to this store today and they had my medication for only ten days.99 percent, THANKS.
