This is an awesome store. Its $8.00 to park all day so you can explore the area. Tons of sponges. Lots of other items to look at. Hand made soaps and more. Well worth the stop.

So much fun. So much to do. Plan on spending 4 hours here. So many cool shops! You have to see them all. They all have so many different things. Some seem the same until you really dig in. Some great finds!

A lot of informative information on the sponge fishing trade. There are items galore at this venue. You will be able to find something unique for everyone on your gift list. Also you might be able to surprise yourself with a gift or two of your own. Parking if you look carefully can be found for around 3 or 5 dollars for the day.

This is the best shop on the sponge docks and likely the most overlooked as it is the first one on the strip. Be sure to stop here! Its a rather large shop that has several different sections including a theatre room that plays a free informational video on the area and sponge diving.They have a great selection of gifts and souvenirs, including a large selection of sea shells and handmade soaps that are incredible. I highly recommend visiting.

Sponges seem very pricey in this whole area considering how many retail options there are and the fact its sponge capital of the world. However The Sponge Factory had the best selection, variety and prices of them all. They even had some other good bath items like wooden nail brushes and many good quality HBA products.

This store always makes me happy. So many wonderful natural items to pick from, as well as some awesome Greek items. We bought many things today including homemade soap, sponges, and a cutting board made from olive wood. We love them all!

They have some really cool educational material there when they show the movies about the Sponge Docks and the history of it.

Awesome place to get sponges. We shopped up and down the strip and they seemed to have the best prices. Also their Aphrodite skin care products are amazing. Very friendly customer service and knowledgeable about everything in the store.

Great shop! I found some really great gift ideas and spoiled mysel eith shells, sponges and hand made soap. I left this shop till last so I dont carry stuff with me, so glad I didnt overlook it. Best variety and natural beauty products. Most of all I loved the Greek music playing! Definitely cheered up my day😊

Lots of wonderful shopping! Had a wonderful lunch at Costas. The only complaint would be tell Mamas restaurant to stop aggravating so many people about how great the restaurant is it turns people off,, and I have been there its not that great!

Always a pleasure to stop in. The gentleman that is usually in is so friendly and helpful. They have a wonderful selection of natural sponges,soaps and other body products. The handmade shell nightlights are also magnificent.

Tarpon Springs is a fun place to visit, and obviously you will make it down to the sponge docks if youre there. There are many stores to choose from, and for the most part their prices are all competitive. I particularly like this place because they were the largest among all of them, and had everything I was looking for in one place. They also had some interesting Greek dessert treats, which is always nice! :-)

Employees very considerate and helpful. Attentive to what products you need to help with what you need. Neat place to visit. Video about sponge diving interesting.

The owner was very kind and helpful, we were trying to find a birthday gift, he let us sample a lot of products. There was also an educational video and room in the back of the store. Most lotions and goat milk/ olive oil was local and hand made.

Great place, Jimmy was so helpful and friendly as well as the gentleman at the register, tanasios. We bought some Sea sponges and soaps. They also recommend Costas restaurant where we had lunch. Service was great and the food was delicious.

The merchandise in the store is nice,the man in the register harrass me and my daughter because we have bags from Loris store claiming that our purshase was bad because their products are from China and his from Greek Island.He was rude and obnoxious he disrespect us and embarrassed us.I would not recommend no one to buy anything from that crazy pls hack.

Liars. Grabbed 2 sponges from the 2 for $24 bin. They charged me $32. I point this out oh but yours are larger. This place is full of thieves trying to screw over tourists. Avoid. Plenty of other places to buy sponges on this street.

A nice little shop full of sponges and sponge related and nautical stuff. Most everything is overpriced, but, I would expect that from any shop in this area.

Interesting little place, was nice to eat by the water but wouldnt make the trip over there just for the fun of it again.

Haha walk ten feet down the street and youll find the exact same items for way less. Basically your typical tourist trap.

The louphas were extremely rough but the award winning movie got it 4 stars, will come back anytime. Never get the shammies wet by the way and avoid the deer and cow hide.
