Took in our 2021 Mitsubishi Mirage for a warranty covered tire replacement and was refused a warranty coverage and was told by the staff that it was because one of the tires busted and my husband has to replace it. We called corporate to ask about it because we were confused as to why they’d deny a replacement tire for a tire that has nothing to do with the warranty only to find out that this was not the reason at all. It was because they were a factory tire and not a regular tire. We are disappointed about their untruthfulness and they should have told us it was about them being factory tires in the first place instead of making up lies. We received horrible service from Firestone and will never return to the store on Wade Hampton Blvd. They are dishonest. We had to call corporate to find out exactly what was going on and why our tires were not covered! They told us a lie about why the tires are not being covered. They told us it was because we replaced the busted tire with a Cuomo when it was actually because the tires that we had were the tires from the factory and are not covered under their warranty because the standards are different! It would have been ok had they been truthful from the get-go but instead they lied and told us something completely different!

Went above and beyond to assist me. Would give them more than five stars. Matt and his team are to be commended. Will definitely be my go to place for repairs from now on.

I could not be happier with my experience during a tough situation. We had a tire blow out on my pop up camper. I called the closest Firestone and they did not have my tire, but found one for me at this store. I called and they were in the ball as soon as I arrived. Don’t do Alignment here they will missed up your car, my car was much better before I took it to them . Had take it to other shop to do Alignment again because they really missed it up. Not professional

I will NEVER take my vehicle here for service again. The first time it was suppose to be fix after I paid a hefty amount and still had issues with the car took it back to have it fix again with another issue and paid another heft amount just to get my vehicle back and now my engine light on and the vehicle keep cutting on and off as if my car have a switch on it not cool or safe smh. Apparently these people don’t know what they are doing a waste of money and time 🤦🏾‍♀️

This is a great place to take your car for more than just tires! Matt and Brett do a great job at customer service. They are prompt and honest, which is something that is hard to find with vehicle maintenance. I trust that when they say we need to replace something with one of our cars that it is a service we truly need. We wouldn’t take our 5 cars anywhere else!

Matt was absolutely incredible!!! I came in during COVID-19 with no appointment and he made sure I still got taken care of. I was expecting to spend way more than I did but Matt made sure to find me the best quality for the best prices possible! I will absolutely be returning and since I’m a 2 car household I will be bringing that car as well. As a matter of fact, I will be dealing exclusively with them from now on for all my car needs and tire needs!

I went to Firestone today because my tire light was on. The technician was super nice and helpful . He was very thorough and within a few minutes I was on my way with no tire light on . I Highly recommend this place !

Juan was honest with us and recommended that we will take the car to Mazda Parts because there is still warranty for this car... He took us home and was very pleasant. I used to have fairly good service in the past until I dropped my Camry off today for an alignment check and there is woman at the front desk who started arguing with me that the alignment will take 2 days while I was told it can be done by today. She was rude and had poor customer service skills and I feel that she needs some training before she interacts directly with customers. I felt that her behavior was very unprofessional.

Great customer service! These guys deserve a raise! They often go above and beyond! I once saw a guy with the flu still come into work and help out (from a distance of course). I admired their hard work to get my car fixed fast on multiple occasions. They don’t beat around the bush and they can be trusted. If they can do it they will if they can’t they’ll tell you

The staff here is friendly and helpful. They gave me a quick and inexpensive check on my car which had a broken muffler. They couldn’t fix it but they were helpful in my understanding of what was happening with my car.

Not a great experience... I made an appointment 3 days in advance for a tire rotation, balance and alignment. I dropped my car off expecting to get a tire rotation, balance and alignment. I asked if they could take a look at my brakes while they where working on the tires. They quoted me for a tire rotation, balance, and alignment and said it would take an hour and 15 minutes. After the allotted amount of time they called me and told me my car needed $1800 worth of repairs. I said no thanks but that I’d come pick my car up. When I got there I found out that they had only rotated my tires. No balance and no alignment... I am confused as to why I would need to make an appointment for certain things to be done, I dropped my car off expecting certain things to be done, and I was quoted for certain things to be done, however, they didn’t do the things that I asked and made an appointment for. I think I’ll take my car somewhere else. I gave an extra star because the front desk guy was nice and friendly but all and all it was a huge waste of time bringing my car here.

Brent that manager is really personable and has taken care of all 3 of my cars for the past 10 years. I sometimes feel the pricing is a bit high, but the work is warranted and I feel good knowing that it is a national chain.If you dont like the counter person, ask for Brent. Also, like any consumer, price shop. But do realize that with tires, you get what you pay for. Cheap tires = crappy ride.

Brett and his staff are truly amazing! They worked with me to get a fair deal on tires with installation alignment. I drop my car off at 4:30 and it was done at 5:45. Quick fast and friendly! I would highly recommend this location to do any of your Auto Care Services.

Ive had my tires replaced, aligned, and balanced here, and had a good experience. When they offered to go ahead and change my oil (since I was due for a change) they couldnt get the filter off without risking damage to the filter housing, so they called me and notified me (this was on a Saturday). If they had attempted to get it off regardless, damaged it, or otherwise, I may have ended up either without a car until the part could be replaced (who knows if that would be same-day) or unexpected extra charges on my service that I hadnt previously approved.

They did well. Brought in a flat tire and they had it fixed in 20 minutes. Nice guys they handle people well

Brett Groom is the manager and over the last ten years Ive been a customer Brett and his team have been excellent in customer service, always been honest about whatever work you need to have done on your vehicle. They havematched or beat competitors prices on exactly the same items and have never tried to sell me anything I didnt need. They may make suggestions or tell you something is on its way out, but if its not absolutely necessary they wont B.S you into purchasing the repairs. If they do suggest some maintenance, take them seriously. Their lifetime alignment is one the best services they offer. After another tire shop tried to upsell me on tires I didnt need and then push me into a tire rotation I didnt need, just to get rid of some small vibration, this shop was honest with me. They offered to balance only the 2 front tires (most likely source of steering wheel vibration). Problem solved at half the price. Good folks.

Ive been going to this Firestone since 2010 and made trips to come here even after I left town for a little while. Now that Im back, theyre still my go-tos. Theyve got coffee in their little sitting area, theyll never over charge you, and theyll never say to repair something that doesnt need to be repaired. Quick, honest, funny, and kind, the men of the Taylors/Wade Hampton Firestone will make car repairs nicer.

Awful customer service. Had a company truck taken in and was told the battery was low. Field tech declined battery replacement. Truck wouldnt start in the parking lot after we paid -- come to find out they had to jump the truck off just to move it out of the garage. No call, nothing mentioned about this at all during check-out. On the invoice is says services declined: windshield wipers. Customer service rep said they can jump the truck off again so we can go. Told him we need a replacement. He said sometimes a truck can run off a jump for awhile. Is that what you would do for your car? I asked. No, he says. Not our first awful experience here but will be our last -- we will drive farther out for repairs.

This is my favorite of the 2 Firestone stores in this area on Wade Hampton. Pretty solid service. Oh, and they dont try to pretend like the damage they caused was there to begin with like the other Firestone up the road.

When looking for a place to get tires I choose this shop for location and convenience. I called and asked about tires. They had reasonably priced tires and offered what I thought was a free alignment. Unfortunately I didnt pay close attention to what the person said and they only offered a free alignment check.They called me back saying my truck was ready and told me it would be an additional $70 to get the alignment. Because I didnt closely examine the invoice they were technically correct. I feel that the customer service person should have pointed out that it was only a check and not an actual alignment.In my opinion this is a very underhanded and dishonest way to operate a business. Yes it is my fault for not scrutinizing the the invoice but as a customer I shouldnt have to go through everything line by line to make sure im getting what im paying for.

Overly Priced and aggressive salesman. I didnt mind working with Brent, but now there is no connection to the store and I dont feel my best interests are taken into account.

Made arrangements to bring in my truck and get 3 tires installed. Got there right when they opened because that was the only time I had to get the work done. They told me they had sold my tires they were suppose to be holding! Offered to get more, but that would take several hours. This is the second time I have had a problem with this Firestone Store. I will not be going back.

Had an appointment for $250 of tires and an $80 alignment. Was there for 10 minutes and was told both front tire rods needed to be replaced and they would not do the alignment without replacing them. Nearly $800!! It would be like stealing from you and I just cant do that. Admirable, right? In the same breath I was told, but we can put the tires on for you. Now, I knew my alignment was off and chewing up tires about 2 every 3 weeks. Whats the point of putting on tires on a car thats not aligned? So I have to come back in 3-4 weeks to get more?? So...took off to Bryants Kar Guard on Poinsette Hwy across from Poinsette Auto Sales (stop and see Jimmy or Shawn. Tell them Joey sent you and theyll get you in a car in a pinch!) These guys took about 2 min to get my car up on a rack and show me just how bad my tire rods were...or in this case, how bad they were NOT. 30 min later my car was aligned for $55. I went down the street to Francis Marion Tire. Got 4 new tires for $250. Total repair job around $300 compared to the nearly $800 from Firestone! Do NOT go to big chain mechanics. Keep the local boys in business. They are more affordable, more honest, quicker, and the work is BETTER!

Always be skeptical of what youre getting into when youre here. Dont be hasty with decisions and always think of alternatives. Was charged a lot for a fix and decided to go to a dealership and was charged half of what Firestone charged.
