Staff wasnt helpful had to ask for help twice before getting any. Alot of bare shelves. Although they did have what I needed. Good for an emergency item.

I go here when I dont have time to go to home depot. They usually have what Im looking for. They have an excellent selection of nuts and bolts, and the staff is helpful.

Think they had a owner change. The new employees appeared a little trippy to me but they were helpful. This location makes. The hardware store location makes it convenient for a lot of people.

They might have one of what you need and if they dont theyll get it for you. Would rather support a local than the big box stores but I have to say, it lives a bit to be desired. However, they are pretty decently stocked and locally owned so I will always go here before the big HD.

My husband shops there quite often. They have an excellent stock and have great value.

Great prices and they have everything! I had my knives sharpend there and they are super sharp and held a good edge. The staff is super helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them!

Good local TrueValue store. Great selection of fasteners (dont waste your time on fastener hardware at the local big box) they also have better selection on rock and concrete blocks. I usually go here first for most things--the time saved is well worth the couple cents saved at the big box.

Terrible service. Terrible selection. Mask Nazis. They just chased away thousands of dollars in my future building plan and improvement needs. Too bad for them. Go to Karls in Mojave or Rosamond instead.

Good small town hardware store. Its easier to find commonly used hardware and plumbing parts than at home depot and its easy and quick to stop in for what you need for home repairs.

Don, Sheila, Roxanne, Jeff and the gang work hard to be helpful, and it is appreciated. If we dont have it today, itll be in on Tuesday is the universal philosophy at the Pioneer TrueValue Hardware emporium on South Street. Great sales are usually underway. If a bag of ready-mix concrete is needed, Jeff will RUN across the street to the warehouse and get it for you. Life here on the west side would be difficult were it not for this store.

Pioneer True Value is always where we go for friendly and helpful service. Note that they are open in the summer until 5:30 pm and 5:00 pm in the winter.

I like the small town, personal feel. They know me and its nice to go to a place where they know you.

I do have to say. These are the rudest people I have met up here in Tehachapi. Me and my husband bought a post hole digger here to get the dirt out of our 3 foot hole (we have a gas powered one the auger just couldnt get all the dirt out) Our hole was to deep you couldnt use it to take the dirt out. Sooo, we went back to return it and the OWNER said he wouldnt return it because it had a SCRATCH on it. That was there BEFORE we bought it. Then decided to argue with my husband and accuse him of digging our yard with it. WHY ON EARTH WOULD WE USE A MANUAL POST HOLE DIGGER WHEN WE HAVE A BAD A** GAS POWERED ONE????? DIGS 3 FEET DOWN IN LIKE 30 SECONDS!!!! You would think with small business owners losing their companies these people would be nicer to their customers to keep their company running. DONT GO HERE. Home Depot is just a couple miles down the road. They are much nicer and have much better prices and you actually get to return an item you buy if it doesnt work for you.

Great place to look for Harts hardware parts and the customer service is outstanding far better than any other place in Tehachapi
