The employees are usually very polite, Ive only have 4 rude employees within the last 2 years of me coming here. Its a but of a gamble as for if they have their items in stock (plastic beads are usually never in stock anymore) and the prices are a little high but I enjoy coming here since every other employee is very cheerful and helpful.

I was shopping for something specific and the customer service was amazing. The staff tried their best to locate the item but they didnt carry it. I appreciated the effort and patience they showed me. They have a lot of great stuff at Michaels. The store was clean and orderly making it a really nice environment to shop. Ill definitely be back moving forward.

In the past I felt pricing was reasonable.Locations I shopped are long gone such as Baseline and the 101. I found staffing limited and below average. Unless someone else wants to go there, I dont. The store is large and parking is adequate.My thinking is other stores are better able to meet my needs.

The prices may be a tad high on some (or a lot) of Michaels inventory, but their selection and most of all, their outstanding, above and beyond, stellar (add any number of superlatives) staff are what set this particular Michaels in a league all its own.On three separate occasions during my excursion here today, I needed assistance finding an item or answering questions about one. I was helped by a different staff member each time, and in every case they were knowledgeable, friendly and quick with the right information.Upon checkout, I was called to the register without waiting and was greeted there by a witty, charming and warmhearted woman, who rang up my purchases and provided a couple laughs to boot.I dont mind paying a little more for that kind of experience. Employees can be the key to success or the cause of failure for a business in retail. Kudos to Michaels management for having a discerning eye when it comes to hiring staff.

It was out of stock on everything, the merchandise displayed was misplaced or not in the correct area. The store was more tossed instead of displayed. The employees obviously didnt care about the presentation of the merchandising they are selling but worried if someone is stealing paint, pens or beads I guess. The store had merchandisers that get paid to display products according to a plan ogram these products ceos pay

Good location with a friendly staff.

Looked well organized and I was able to find things fairly easily.. but Michaels tends to cost more then places like hobby lobby or even amazon..

The store was neat and clean. We found everything for some gifts my girlfriend is going to make, and I found a craft that I really want to do. So very successful trip, and well definitely be going back.

Never been here before and they were closing so didnt get to check out everything but I will be back.Finally got to shop here for longer than 10 mins. and I love it. So many supplies for projects you may be doing and many ideas to choose from!

Went to get a replacement piece of glass for a large picture frame and everyone in the store was incredibly helpful. Roman was particularly knowledgeable and also helped repair the frame that had been slightly damaged. Excellent customer service. Would recommend.

Although this location is a smaller store than others, it still packs the neccessary items for students. Glue and paints plus some art glass as well. Bring your coupons because Michaels has some awesome savings. My last bill was 215.00 total, but after coups 93.79! Thank you Michaels!

What can I say about Michaels? if you need arts and crafts stuff if you need Fabrics if you need pens, paints this is a great store to go to. Ive never had a problem here, the employees are always friendly and helpful. They got pretty much everything you need for arts and crafts. And thats it thats what they do. I think they have a better selection than Hobby Lobby but Hobby Lobby does some different types of things so I dont know maybe its an apples-to-oranges comparison.

This location has really great customer service. I came in looking for a specific yarn color and they helped me search for twenty minutes when we couldn’t find it in its location. Even offered to pick up from another store. Just great people and way more friendly than at other stores.

The staff were rude, we were in line and there waS only one register open, and 2 other people who worked there stood there talking d while the line grew.

It was a pretty good experience considering its almost Christmas and the joint was pretty busy.Im very thankful that they had not only five registers open but someone scanning all your stuff while youre standing in line so when you get there you just hand a card to them they scan the card you pay and go. Nice and efficient. I wish all stores would do this.

One of many craft stores I tend to visit. Things I have bought are good conditioned items.

The selection was fair, the guests at the time of my visit seemed to just release their children to run wild. On the craft isle what looked like a 2 or 3 year old child sitting on the floor scooting across the isle running a toy car into peoples feet. He got me with the car and almost tripped me as i was walking during the car going under my foot. Overall I will go back because they have the pens i use but I would love to see some more control by staff.

Fun crafty place to visit and this store had alot of clearance items scattered throughout to score on. The checkout gals could been a lil more lively but in their defense it was closing time and they had a full days work under their belt vs our day of out goofin. Check them out though I was surprised at some of the things I found there.

Customer service was so so. Way more affordable than Hobby Lobby.

Great place for all your arts and crafts

They were out of stock on tools and pricier items, which was anticipated. However, the two employees I chose to approach (on an unrelated DIY question) both confessed a general unfamiliarity with crafts, which I thought funny.Ive been experiencing a weirdness in the client/customer relationship. I personally know of some people who are excellent at what they do. Theyre knowledgeable, friendly, helpful; theyre pretty much professional eagle scouts. And they are out of work. They have no problem answering to authority, indifferent to the form in which it comes. Yet, people who dont want to work are getting jobs.I suppose older and not-gorgeous are anathema to conventional wisdom.Exactly where wisdom makes its home...

We went in to get glass and matts for some frames we had purchased online. Erin was super helpful and went above and beyond to get some nice looking matts and using the cheapest options and coupons! She even quickly cut the matts while we shopped around. Overall, great staff—especially Erin! Thank you!!!

The store itself is great lots of wonderful products lot to choose from. However, I had to use the restroom while I was there, I about lost my lunch. Those restrooms are so bad and so filthy Im wondering how these people get away with this. Please clean your bathrooms I will be going to another Michaels after this.

PLEASE MAKE EMPLOYEES WEAR MASKS! I love coming to this store, and it’s close by with good items and all... but three times in the past three months is how many times we’ve stopped by. And each time I’ve seen 1-2 EMPLOYEES UNMASKED, both cashiering and in the aisles. It blows my mind, and personally makes me feel unsafe. I feel like I need to leave the store immediately when I see that... just disappointed.

Michaels is awesome. Im really into arts and crafts and building things and I literally am able to get all the items I need in this one location. Whether it be adhesives, glues or paint. I can get it here. dont think thats all they have because theyve got everything having to do with art or art projects. It doesnt matter what type, theyve got the products to fulfill your arts and crafts needs.

Great selection. Went to purchase resin supplies and had enough for small projects at reasonable price. Some items are cheaper on Amazon but depending on what youre looking for. Make sure to use store coupon that can be found online.

I spend hours in craft stores. They are like my disneyland or crack! Michaels here is good, but seems it if things fast, as they have high traffic at this location. Staff is friendly and available.

No mask enforcement at all. One cashier was wearing hers on her chin.

Saw multiple cockroaches, one ran across my friends toe. One employee was staring at my baby, i feel like he wanted to fight my kid for no reason. 🤧 i didn’t feel comfy there. I’m not from here and i didn’t feel welcome. 😩

They have everything you could want at more at this craft store in Tempe. The other day I stopped in for some glitter, and was impressed by their selection. I ordered a nice big pack of it with every color possible for just $15! Super happy with knowing I can find any craft supply that I would need on the Fly. I love it when they give you the coupons that are 40% off your next item purchased there. Its a good bargain.

This craft store is great. Sometimes I just go there and walk around for lunch. I always find great deals and they always have a 40% off coupon you can use on full price stuff. I have a mini store in my apartment LOL.

I could get lost in all of the wonderful things there are to see in the store! The Christmas items are out and all of the crafts reflect the holiday! I went for a picture frame but I ended up with more than that! I was assisted by an incredibly nice and knowledgeable staff person who had all the patience in the world as I tried to make up my mind!

I looked everywhere to get my son a nice model car. Nobody had very many and nobody had metal models except Michaels. Im thrilled that i was finally able to find what i was looking for. They also have model planes, and tons of paints.

Who doesnt like Michaels? They have all your craft needs and more! I usually come in for something specific and end up buying something totally different. I got a cute Halloween dog this time. I am obsessed with dogs so this was an obvious buy for me. This is how it goes at Michaels. It awakens the craft monster in us. Great customer service at this one too!

Excellent Michaels store. Well organized and clean. Had everything I was looking for. Helpful and nice staff. No wait in line, checked out and even got to use my 40% off any regular priced item coupon from my phone. Michaels has a better selection of markers and writing utensils than other craft stores in the area. I will be shopping at this Michaels location again.

My daughter received a gift card for Christmas so we came to spend it. The store is in transition from Christmas to spring and is a bit of a mess but associates were helpful and responsive in our quest to find items. The checkout line was disappointing. The only cashier was obviously new at her position and was left to fend for herself. That made the process of checking out a bit longer than needed to be. Always a decent time.

It was very open and spacious and the staff was very helpful. Lot of their products I used to buy in store have now moved to online sales so I highly doubt I will be going back in store and getting anything again unless I need to get it right away. Still a great place but they no longer have what I need.

Went here for Christmas accessories. Place was very busy but even so employees were friendly and doing what needed to be done. Prices we great as well.

Okay, my gf just got me into making necklaces n bracelets with beads and we literally spent 2 hours shopping at this Michaels. Great selection of beads and all things crafting. Employees are friendly, most of them at least.Oh and the cashier even offered a coupon to help us save on the almost 200 bill. They also had a military discount which saved us even more.
