Mike and crew did a fine job replacing our clutch and transmission cable on our old PT Cruiser. They worked over the Christmas and New Year holidays to track down all the hard to find parts on our 18 year old car. Once just a transmission repair, they now encompass all types of auto repair. Very reasonable repair costs offered in an old school true mechanics environment. Good people.

$2200, Had to bring truck back twice. first time for large oil leak (rear main seal was likely not replaced even though we requested it and gave them the seal). Second time the transmission slipped massively. They said they had to replace some solenoids. its surprised me they did not replace them the first time with this amount of money that we spent.Would not recommend them. Too many shady answers.On the bright side, he was a nice guy.

Did a really good job friendly and affordable

These guys are great - I thought my car/trailer connection was all fouled up when the running lights didnt work, and maybe it needed new fuses or wiring and who knew what else, but they got it cleaned up (just needed cleaning!) and I was back on the road in less than an hour. Great people!

This is the second time Ive used Choice Transmission. Theyve installed a Monster Clutch on my GTO and rebuilt the transmission on my 74 Dodge truck. Both times Ive visited this place I worked with Mike. The guy is honest and willing to explain the whole process with you (if you want to know). This will be the place I go to in the future for any other car that needs their expertise. I would totally recommend this place.

Great service, affordable prices, my check engine light was on for a year, all repair shops that I went to wanted to charge me way more than Choice transmission did. They are the best, they were honest with me, They went the extra mile and performed a free inspection on the vehicle. I recommend this place for minor and major repairs.

I thought Id wait a while to report-in. Like, maybe 3 years? We took our 97 Saturn to Bob and Steve (owner and mgr, respectively) about 3 or 4 yrs ago. Excellent service and pricing! This team knows what theyre doing. Going on 4 years now, the Saturns transmission continues to run without issues. So glad we made the right Choice!

The last thing you want to do is trust this place! The owner is a liar, cheat and a thief. Promised things over and over, but never delivered. In the end I was forced to tow my car away in pieces to another transmission shop. Cost me $1000s of unnecessary dollars. I should have know by the way the establishment was cared for and especially by the look and demeanor of the owner. Have some pride in yourself, your place of business and more importantly the work you do. Word of mouth is your best advertisement and you sure wont get mine!

Choice Transmission & Complete Auto Repair did an amazing job building an AOD transmission for my 66 Mustang. They are very knowledgeable when it comes to transmission and auto repair. If you want the job done right the first time at a fair price this is a good place to go!

I own a 2005 Lincoln LS. Took it to Quality as I thought my Transmission was shot. They checked it out and found it was not the transmission but just plugs and a few minor issues. They charged me nothing for checking it out. Their honesty was greatly appreciated and very rare in the auto repair business. I would recommend them to everyone!

Repaired the automatic transmission on my 2007 Jeep Wrangler. Its been 4 weeks, so far and everything is like brand new. Customer service was on point and they answered all my questions. Turn around time was really fast. Would take it here again.

Be careful! They will try to charge you much more than the original estimation without warning or asking approval.

I absolutely know nothing about cars and was terrified that day coz i really cant afford being screwed for a lie but i was refereed to these people by a friend and i was still a little worried coz i hear a lot about mechanics and their lies but after this experience i had to write this review we thought that it was a part that we needed and easily they couldve went with that and costed me a decent about of money but the manager there i believe it was (Roger) discovered that the old part was still ok by going the extra mile and decided to fix the issue with almost no cost i honestly think any other mechanic or most wouldve not even bothered for that reason im grateful and thought they deserved this review ..thanks again guys and God Bless

My mechanic recommended Quality Transmission when I started having trouble with my trucks shifting. Im always worried about getting ripped off because I dont know much about automotive repairs. All I knew was that transmission work is notoriously expensive. Turns out there was nothing really wrong with it. They could have charged me an arm and a leg and I wouldnt have been the wiser, but they didnt. They solved the problem and didnt charge me a dime. I know I got lucky with my Jeep this time, but Im glad to have found an honest place where ethics still mean something. Im a customer for life.

My brother-in-law has a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado, which he uses daily as his work truck. He recently had his transmission overhauled at A to Z transmission repair in Phoenix, which ended up being his first mistake. Within days, he started to have problems with shifting between gears. He brought the truck back with the symptoms he was having, and patiently left his vehicle there for five days waiting for some positive news. He was pretty pissed off when he returned to the shop to find out they had barely touched his vehicle - mind you that he had to rent a car for the five days at his expense. They mentioned to him they were not able to duplicate the problem, but they did noticed during some diagnostic checking that he had some electrical short in the vehicle causing a lot of different codes to show up. Once leaving the A to Z transmission shop, my brother-in-law contacted me asking for help. I jumped on line to find a Mark Salam repair facility. We went with his recommendation of Quality Transmission Service - out of the Tempe area.By the end of the day, I was contacted by QTS manager Steve Fullmer. Interesting person that has been around the field for 30 plus years that knows his trade. He asked me if it would be all right to remove the lower pan of the transmission, since his breakout box was giving him all sorts of weird codes. He confirmed that his box was hooked to another vehicle to verify the integrity of his test equipment, so he believed our problem was located within the tranny. He didnt want to void the warranty from the other shop, I agreed with his concerns, but reminded him that the warranty is only good as the guys that back it, which is not very good at the moment. I told him to drop the pan and proceed on, knowing that his honesty would find a solution to this problem.The next day Steve called us back with his findings: When they dropped the pan, they found an o-ring laying inside. The mechanic at A to Z transmission shop had cut the o-ring during installation of the R2 servo. This caused fluid to bypass causing all of the shifting problems, and all the crazy codes that A to Z said was an electrical short in the system. Needless to say, nothing more than an induced problem from the mechanic overhauling the tranny. Steves mechanic Woody actually gave us the o-ring that was damaged as a little show and tell for A to Z. The truck is back on the road shifting as designed, and with a total repair cost of 208 dollars. Just a word to the wise, make Quality Transmission Service your first stop - honest and knowledgeable people that take pride in their work.Stay tuned for the next saga, when Carl and his brother-in-law return to A to Z transmission looking for a refund of 208 dollars.
