Customer service is top notch! extremely informative and sweet. This was our first time renting (on vacation) and she was sure to go over everything and give her recommendations. Kayak (inflatable) was in perfect condition and we got asked all day from other people on the river how we liked them. Very easy to set up and take down, was comfortable all day and lots of leg room. Fantastic rental! We will never rent from anyone else. We took two kayaks and three paddleboards down the lower Salt River and it was amazing. Teri and her team are simply the best, they made sure we had everything we needed and all equipment was sanitized and ready to go when we picked up.

This California business owners made their success out here in Tempe arizona... making AZ home in 98...Aside from rentals they have life jackets, coolers, boat gear and swimwear available.The rental here is so convenient and easy. Just a simple call and they put in our order for us to rent a inflatable kayak. They sent the necessary liability forms directly though email and text and had our equipment ready and waiting for us to pickup at the back of the store.You can purchase the visitors pass to the lake from their establishment.The gentleman there preparing the boats was helpful and explained everything we needed to do to bring our gear to saguaro lake. He recommended Butcher Jones recreational site.We got to the site and kayaked for a bit. while on the lake we thought our kayak had a leak or hole. We called and they said they would give us an opportunity to switch our our kayak and give us an extra day on them. But after we repumped our kayak it appears that it worked well..The kayak was so convenient to pump and carry out the lake. Beautifully made and relaxing.Equipment given to us also provided two life jackets, two paddles, seat cushions for kayak, and big hand carry bag that stores our kayak.It was a sigh of relief and I was so happy by their quick service and responsiveness in placing their customers needs as priority.Teri, one of the owners.. was their to welcome us back and give us some stickers and inform us she would give us a military discount adjustments to what we paid. I felt she was so sweet and warm. She has a great communication with her customers and she was polite on the phone and gave excellent service.We will come back on our next vacay back to AZ.

Very nice and accommodating. I had to call and change my reservation three times due to my husband being sent on military orders and they were very kind and helpful each time. Only $10 to pick up the night before so we could take the boards with us and get an early start. The people there were very kind and you can tell that they like being there. I would recommend them highly for anyone who wants a fun rental in the area.The inflatable paddle boards were a fantastic option, just be prepared to use a hand pump for them. I got a little tired and had to have my husband finish mine to get it up to the appropriate PSI, but once he muscled it for me the board was fantastic.

Great store and very knowledgeable. Terry was outstanding at helping us pick out our first kayak. Made sure she understood what we were going to use it for and then gave us options. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for SUPs, kayaks or motorized skateboards (one wheel).

The owners and staff were so incredibly sweet and organized despite being busy. We had the best experience and they ensured our gear would stay on our roof by personally helping to affix everything to our vehicle. This place is amazing! We rented a few kayaks and they were so helpful with telling us some of the best places to go. We went to Canyon Lake and saw Desert Big Horn Sheep. You cant see that from the road.

What a great first rental experience! They answered all our questions and gave us instructions for inflating our kayaks so we didnt end up standing at the lakeside scratching our heads! They recommended a launch point for us as well. Although the day was windy and crowded on the lake, the equipment functioned well and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly! Me and my girlfriend love to kayak, but this was our first time in Arizona and our first time Strapping 2 kayaks to the top of my smaller car for a trip to Canyon Lake. Even with that challenge in front of us, we could not have picked a better place to go. All the worries we had were melted away by the thorough explanation on how to mount my kayaks safely and guidance through carrying. Giving me and my girlfriend the empowering confidence to do this many times to come. My interactions here were nothing short of my close Family helping me make a trip, and that is invaluable. Ive canoed most my life. Last summer, my friend encouraged me to start kayaking.... initially with his kayaks. What a fun time! New year, I need my own kayak. Only driving a sedan, an inflatable kayak was the obvious choice. Teri and Corey took the time to eductate me on the many options. I decided on the Sea Eagle 300x. Count me as a happy Riverbound Sports customer.

If I could give this company 10 million stars I would. We made a reservation and met Terry the Tour guide (LOL) when we went in and her service and kindness was above and beyond. Abby helped us over the phone and so did the younger guy. The service was just outstanding and this is what you get when you shop local!!

From the moment I first talked to them on the phone, I have had the BEST customer service. No matter who I talked too, everyone was so friendly and answered all my million questions when I called about 10 times. Booking was so easy online and even easier picking up. The process was so smooth and if you have multiple reservations under one group, please call ahead and tell them whose all in a group. When it came time to pick up, we all could pulled up and they had our whole groups paddleboards ready to go. The boards are sanitized between rentals and super clean, everything comes in a backpack and is SO convenient. Inflating them takes some muscle and sweat (especially when it’s over 110°), but they can be inflated within 10 min. You will not regret renting from here!! Already planning the next rental. ☺️

We rented two inflatable kayaks from Teri and Cory of Riverbound Sports and would definitely do it again. What an awesome shop with caring owners who go above and beyond to help their clients. An awesome day! I visited AZ for work and was here over the weekend. Ive never paddle boarded and thought paddle boarding in the dessert would be awesome! And it was! The Riverbound staff are great from start to finish. Teri answered all my questions over the phone and made booking the paddle board very easy. The drive out to the recreation area is amazing. Leave early so you can stop and enjoy the views. The paddle board area also had amazing views and was very calm. Teri taught me how to get up and I was up on my first try. She taught me how to stay up and steer. The rental rate was very affordable! It was the highlight of my trip! You wont regret booking with Riverbound! Go ahead and book now! Do it! Now! :-)

Great experience for kayak rentals. I’ve rented with Riverbound three times now, and everything is smooth and goes as expected. I highly recommended the inflatable kayaks! Very busy shop, so expect to wait a while to get served, but its worth the wait! They are helpful and informative and have excellent customer service, even when busy! We purchased a Moken 10 from them after trying out several other models for fit and function. Definitely plan to continue being a customer there! Teri is the best!Update: We were so happy with the Moken 10 V2 that we went back and purchased a Nomad there as well. Corey spent some time with us to make sure we understood how to safely secure our kayaks when traveling with them on the car.

SUP was a totally new adventure for me and I enjoyed every minute with the help and guidance from Terri and Cory at Riverbound. We picked a tough weather day for my first time. Very windy. They made me feel safe and secure. I stayed on the entire ride and left there with the biggest smile. I plan on making them my Go To for water paddle sports here in the Phoenix area.

Amazing company with friendly and knowledgeable staff. My boyfriend and I showed up just knowing that we wanted to go paddle boarding and nothing else. The lady working was beyond helpful and showed us various lake options on a map and gave us recommendations on what parts of the lake to paddle to. Once we purchased the paddle boards she showed us how to inflate them and how the other equipment worked. The life jackets were provided and were basically brand new AND disinfected. She provided helpful directions and sights to see while enroute to the lake. 10/10 service - I will definitely return in the future.

What a fabulous company! Thoroughly enjoyed my rental with riverbound sports paddle. I called on Saturday inquiring about kayak rentals for the following day. Garrett helped me through all the options, differences, and was very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas. The shop was closed on Sundays, but he actually called his owner to see if she could accommodate the reservation and arrange to be there at the shop to pick up rentals that following morning. Terri, the owner, was just as pleasant as Garrett. She handled the entire reservation online, gave me detailed instructions on best place to drop the kayaks, and arranged a pickup from the shop the following morning. The whole experience was seamless and I cannot say enough great things about Terri and this establishment. Had a fantastic day on the water, isolated. Its extremely welcome and appreciated to have something like this especially in these uncertain and strange times. It was a perfect day and I owe all my thanks to this great company!

We highly recommend renting from Riverbound Sports Paddle Company for all your adventure needs! We rented a pair of inflatable kayaks and were so very appreciative of the genuine care we received. We were shown how to inflate, deflate, and pack the kayaks with perfect step by step instruction but our personal favorite was the additional details for things to see and places to visit while in the Phoenix area. Our entire day was made thanks to Tour guide Terry- you wont be disappointed with money well spent at Riverbound.

Just bought a OneWheel Pint from them and was given the best service. Financing options and lots of accessories. Highly recommend pulling the trigger on finally getting a OneWheel or Stand Up PaddleBoard if you haven’t yet. (You can also take your dog on the SUP boards.)Get the wrist guards for falls and a helmet if you don’t have one and wear long sleeves. 12-16mph comes at you fast. 😂

Weve rented inflatable kayaks and paddle boards from them - even proposed to my fiancé on one of our kayaking trips. We rented hard paddle boards this time to get out onto saguaro lake. They helped me get the boards on the cross bars of my SUV and provided straps since I forgot mine. Ive rented from other places in town before and also at the marinas due to availability or scheduling but their equipment is not as nice and their staff is never as friendly or helpful. RIverbound is the best in town!

My friend and I took advantage of beach event Riverbound offered. You rent your Paddleboard or kayak and Riverbound brings them to the lake for you. It is so awesome to show up at the lake and be on the water within 5 minutes of showing up. Teri is the kindest person and very organized. All the equipment was in excellent condition. My friend and I had a blast out on the lake. Before you knew it, we were out there for over 3 hours. When we were done, we left the boards with Teri and went our way. Best way to spend Saturday morning! I highly recommend Riverbound.

My boyfriend and I decided to take a small vacation to Saguaro Lake and wanted something fun and different to do. I came across Riverbound online and am so glad I did!! We rented 10 foot hard paddle boards and had the BEST time!! Reservations were very easy online and picking up was just as easy. They offer temp roof racks and straps, my vehicle already has a rack so they lent us the straps and showed us how to tie them down securely. They went over techniques with us since it was our first time paddle boarding. Once we got to the lake, we felt very confident. By the end of our day we were cruising through the water, on our feet like pros! It was so much fun and we plan to do it again soon.I HIGHLY recommend going through this company for your water rental needs!!

We even got recommendations for places to check out near where we were travelling. We rented 2 inflatable kayaks, and we were shown exactly how to use them. I appreciated everything that was done for us, and Im definitely going to recommend everyone I know to this place!

My friends and I have rented here a few times now, and I cannot day enough about how amazing each experience has been! All of the staff are so helpful, accommodating and friendly. The first few times we got inflatables, but there were a couple of times we made the booking too late and had to get hard ones. We were a little hesitant to use the hard ones at first since we didn’t know how to strap them to the car, but Teri and Garrett made it SUPER easy! All of the equipment we have rented has also been in excellent shape, and I think they clean it all after each use. If you are interested in going out on the lake, do not hesitate to rent from here!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Terry was so sweet and welcoming. We are on a road trip from out of state, and we arrived a few minutes early, but she didn’t hesitate to start helping us immediately. She taught us how to strap up the paddleboards properly and helped unstrap when we got back! She also made sure to give us a heads up about some road closures due to wildfires and gave us some alternative options, which we ended up using! Everything is included in the rental, and it’s cheaper to buy a Tonto National Forest Parking Pass there than when you get out there, so I recommend doing that while you’re there as well! I had a last-minute idea to rent a stand up paddle-board. I gave the shop a call they took down my information And immediately I received a waiver form via email. I filled it out online super simple clean and easy process! I picked up the board from the nicest people and had a great time using the board. I returned it and another outstanding experience with the return employees. I highly recommend this business, i’m planning on going back again next week and I made a reservation for the end of the month as well.

My experience with Riverbound Sports Paddle Company was incredible! They definitely have the best price and customer service in The Valley!!!The entire process was super smooth! We rented 3 paddle boards and 2 double size kayaks. Once we booked online, I receive confirmation and waivers online. Everything can be done electronically. Prior to coming I called and spoke with the owner, Teri. She instructed me that the best way to find them is to go behind the alley so once I arrived it was easy to find.Both Teri and Garrett were incredible! Garrett was AWESOME! He was so helpful and he is so knowledgeable with all the equipment! He loaded everything up in my car, allowed me to make little tutorial videos for my family already at the lake, and wanted to make sure I was 100% confident with everything! So cool! Teri was also super sweet cleaning and preparing the other kayak.The paddle board and kayak quality were supreme! So sturdy and once we got to the lake everything g was smooth with the set up, the riding was incredible and the drop off process was great too. Overall we were extremely pleased and will definitely use them and recommend for sure!

I was looking for a particular fishing PFD - a NRS Chinook and had ordered one from NRS, but it was on back order for almost 3 months. So, I was directed to Riverbound to see if they might have one available. They did not, but told me they would go on a mission to find one. And they did! We rented some hard and inflatable paddle boards from River Bound Sports this weekend. Picked them up Saturday afternoon and went to Canyon Lake on Sunday morning. Teri and the whole crew at River Bound Sports were beyond helpful and so friendly! We will absolutely go back.

We really enjoyed renting SUP from Riverbound sports. Easy on line experience. In person experience was awesome also, proper COVID-19 précautions taken. Open and friendly!Great, timely and up to date knowledge of SUP sites in the area, and also great recommendations for area restaurants. I would rent fromthem again!

As it was our first time stand-up Paddleboarding, they educated us on everything from where to go, what we would need, how to strap the boards down, and the secrets of how to find parking if the park is congested.
