Visited this place today THEY CLOSED EARLY ON BLACK FRIDAY!!! We showed up more then 30 minutes before the POSTED closing time of 10 PM and the gate was down and lights were off. Encountered an employee outside who informed me that they closed at 8 because theyre a strip mall (90 minutes earlier) just admit it dude you closed early dont lie about it.

Pretty bad GameStop experience overall. Last time I was in, all their computers went down. So I couldnt purchase anything. Then called five times this morning to ask about some amiibo. The guy asked to place me on a hold, then hung-up. I called back and they hung up on me after asking if they had an amiibo in stock. Now they are not picking up my calls. If you dont like answering the hard questions about amiibos then just quit your job buddy. You just lost a Pro Member and customer, but I doubt you care.

People working were like high on tranquilizers. Had to explain 5 times what we wanted and what we needed. Took guy 3 times to get the transaction right on the register. Spent an hour having to virtually the guys job for him myself. Had to get multiple refunds as I was told one price and after he ran transaction on my card, it said a higher price. I know times are different and tough, but people still need to do their jobs and properly. Otherwise why show up to work? Its time for people all ages to wake up and start doing more and trying harder in everything they do. A little effort goes a long way in so many facets of life!

So disappointed. the new games they sell is like second handed games (or even worse). the new games should have a thin plastic casing on them! Also they use tape to seal the game case which is really hard to come off and destroys the game case! Just use price matching and buy your games somewhere else.

Tried calling for over a half hour to no answer. When i got there i found they didnt have what i needed, wasting my time and gas going there. Which could have been avoided if they bothered answering the phones! Luckily Fallout games is just a few miles away and they have a better selection of used games anyways.

Rickey(bleached mohawk guy) was the only employee and the place was mobbed. Huge line, lots of people. He had to ask people to step out because Covid restrictions. Was handling lots of different issues while remaining calm and professional. Dude needs a raise.

This gamestop is a nice place to find decorations for your rooms at home and filled with a lot of games from many systems. If you want a PS5 you have to pre-order online to get one so dont expect to buy on in-store anytime soon.

This store is confusing. The OPEN sign is illuminated, but the door is locked. A sign is posted stating they’re doing “deep cleaning on the hour, for 30 minutes” but the employees are standing at the registers. Which is it? Can’t be open and closed. And I’m by myself, so it doesn’t affect the 10 person limit.

Edit/Update!!!It was great, overall experience was nice great selection and great staff. I look forward to shopping there in the future.Edit/Update-11/30/18- I did the review above. I was looking for a PS3 controller only made by Sony not a 3rd party manufacturer. At this GameStop I bought a red PS3 pre-owned dualshock 3 controller. When I got home the controller worked except for the L2 button. I paid $30 before tax for a pre-owned controller that was not checked if it was working properly before selling. I also renewed my pro membership. Initially walked out of there spending roughly $50 bucks then return the PS3 controller dualshock 3 on November 31st an got the cost of the controller back. Come December 1st I decide to buy another controller I figured maybe it was just defective and they didnt check. Fine mistakes and oversights happen. As Im writing this updated review I decide to spend roughly another $30 for pre-owned PS3 in this case its a sixaixs dualshock 3. So initially downgrade from the the newer dualshock 3 version for the PS3. As I connect it to my PS3 I realize that all the buttons work properly except for the internal functions If I shake the PS3 I dont have to push any buttons because shaking the PS3 controller is apparently the home button the L3 button the R2 button the L1 button. And squeezing too hard on the grips of the controller surprise surprise the controllers I can fire my weapon or its the acceleration of my car when Im playing racing games are first person shooters. Its defective controller and Im baffled that GameStop didnt know this about a pre-owned controller or it wasnt noted anywhere that hate this controller doesnt work why are we repackaging it selling to some of the ram customer it was returned for a reason so Im hoping they dont resell it.The one thing Ive noticed when it comes to game stop and pre-owned items you guys are not doing your job as far as for checking if accessories properly work. Typically the culture of GameStop if someone returns a pre-owned item and something is wrong. You guys need to stop accepting pre-owned products or make sure that they work properly. This is the second time this has happened and probably going to be the last because you just might loose a customer. Now I understand why Amazon is literally outperforming GameStop and everything is going digital because for some odd reason companies like GameStop is accepting pre-owned products and not checking if they work properly. So tomorrow once again on December 2nd Im going to have to return a controller that doesnt properly work because GameStop accepted a defective device and if they did refurbish and check this device they obviously did not do a good job doing so. I understand that is a pre-owned product but if a pre-owned product does not work properly do not sell it to a customer if it is refurbished make sure it works and show that to the customer that it works because otherwise youre wasting the customers time and it is poor customer service for a customer to return a product that you were selling in the first place. If anything GameStop needs to start testing the controllers and systems to make sure that they work if theyre pre owned.

Stan at the front desk was very helpful. I came to return several discs that I ordered online. Instead of mailing the damaged discs by return mail, I took an opportunity that my local GameStop could solve the situation which was perfectly resolved thanks to Stan. He is a conscientious employee who performs what is required in any situation that may come up. I gave my local GameStop a well deserved 5 STARS.

Okay I returned a game with my brother and there was this one purple-haired girl working the counter who literally rolled her eyes when I asked her if I could get a refund on a game I got. And then when I was walking out the door she actually said, in a relatively loud voice, Finally....Seriously. What type of people does this GameStop hire? I didnt catch her name (she didnt really deserve any recognition aside from being a nuisance), but I hope that if any maintenance/manager sees this post, she gets reprimanded at the very least. What a disappointment.

This store does not want me to buy stuff. Last 2 times I tried I wasnt able to. I went in employee wouldnt sell me a game because I didnt want to give them my phone number. Today around 445pm tried to go in 2 employees were at the counter inside with a locked door and a sign saying be back in a half hour with no time-stamp for that statement.

Guy working when my son came in to bring a switch to see if he could get store credit was INCREDIBLY RUDE, guy told him to see it to one of his family members would buy it. IMMEDIATELY left store WILL NOT RETURN to this location. Went to a different location much friendlier staff there and got a good deal on store credit. A Hispanic gentleman about 510 very rudely closed the door in my face rather than finish assisting me. All I wanted to ask him was since he said he couldnt take my debit card as payment even running it as credit, which is plausible but unlikely, was how long it would take to buy online and pickup from that location. I called into the store when he refused to help and asked him name, he refused to give it, and he was not wearing a name tag. I will never shop at this location again and hesitate to support any GameStop after being a loyal customer since the store chain began who has purchased thousands of dollars in games and all 3 generations of multiple Xbox systems. I have 5 systems purchased from GameStop in my house right now. Afterwards I went to Walmart and they got my money for the game I simply wanted to purchase. This was after I watched him turn away two other customers in a similar fashion with a similar attitude. He simply didnt want to do his job. He is lazy, confrontational, and rude if I was his boss Id fire him. This happened at 5pm on 04/29/20

They have everything current and they off a reasonable amount of trade if you have the highest level membership card. I was able to trade in $40 worth of games and they put it directly on my card so I can use it whenever I want. There isnt much to desire and they even have a good selection of low-level collectibles for someone looking for a cheap present. Ive been going here for years and there isnt a better place for new games in town.

Ive been going to GameStop for several years now and it is usually busy with only one or two Associates, I am used to this and I am fine with that type of situation as other stores I frequent are also that way. However the night that I was there I felt like this guy did not put the customers first, the line had to get 5 or 6 people before the second associate would even help. He could have had the line out much faster and taken care of business for each and every customer at a more timely rate instead of packaging up games that were be mailed out what I would guess as the next day. Once he did get on the line he was very courteous and helpful but again I say he should have reacted a lot sooner and with Christmas just around the corner they really need to get it together because that line will be out the door and hell be packaging boxes up 😒

The selection of games here is exquisite. The selection of consoles, discount accessories and gaming devices is unparalleled. The game merch and toys in stock seem to be more focused on the collector aspect. I couldnt find a Joker plushie keychain, but I could find 3-4 action figures from games that were popular for a month. I bout an HDMI cable and the employees were professional and well informed. Will definitely make this my stop for games and gaming accessories.

Larry was super patient and attentive with the whole transaction. Bought a used star wars game for 54 bucks, with a 20 dollar trade in and 37 dollars on my card, it was defective kept glitching and freezing, so i brung it back wanted money back they didnt give me all my money instead 37 cash and a 19 dollar card for store credit, mind u i had an email saying they will pay me 20-25 dollars for my game i was bringing in, OK so i bit the bullet, then i use the card to but this game called Detroit, and took it home and the game didnt even wanna load soon as it got the 4min marl it said error, smh so i wiped it off, cleaned it real good and it finally loaded but then after the beginning scene it cut off with error, Im done with this location, their games are broke, their even selling games for 4-8 bucks that are not working properly or broke smh unbelievable, and the cashiers pretend to be friendly and nonchalant, going get my 20 bucks back, but feel i should be awarded more for my stress and time

The employee working this morning today Sunday May 19th is a shining example of why I dont spend money at GameStop anymore.I grabbed two Xbox one games priced at $14.99 and another $13.99. I one of these two games because it very clearly advertised any two games $14.99 and under are $20.when I got to the counter the employee wanted to charge me the full price of $34.XX.I pointed out to him the advertised sale he went and looked at the sign and told me but they dont qualify. I asked the employee does the price have to be $14.98?Despite the sign clearly saying $14.99 and under.When the employee responded Yes I went across the parking lot and spent my money at Best buy instead.

I called over the phone and they said they would take my vintage original xbox. The woman even quoted me a price for it. I later went to the store and there were flyers saying they would take vintage consoles and games. Then we waited and line and got up to the regestier and told them we were trading in the console and games and we called ealier. They said they couldnt find it on the sytems and they would not trade it in. We were in that store for over thirty mintutes. Worst costmer service.

If I could give it a zero- I would. Pre-ordered a game for an exclusive item, took time off of work, and an hour later the employee still hasnt opened the doors for business. It opened at 10am. I have to drive to another Game Stop, buy it OUTRIGHT AGAIN, and THEN wait for a refund when someone FINALLY opens the door to the store. I seriously doubt the Company that runs these stores give one whit about our time and money wasted for an irresponsible employee. Gamestop is an okay place to buy games..... But when it comes to selling games to them its not very fair at all.....I mean I realize that they need to buy them off of you for less than what you bought it for in order to make some kind of a profit off you but its ridiculously uneven......I once tried to sell a game to them that I bought for $45 from them and they said the best I could get was around $5-$7 dollars for it. Thats not even 25% of the amount I paid for it....Its a total rip off....Again the place is good to buy games but when it comes to selling games ....youre better off selling at a garage sale.....

This store has gone waaaaaaay down in customer service and quality since 2016. I am sad to abandon this location but this is ridiculous. Recently this GameStop has employed an automated answering service that tells you they are busy, and hangs up on you after not even puts you on hold. Absolutely ridiculous ZERO out of 5 stars for this location.
