Fell in love with this place 😍 Super yummy food. Great coffee. Hip atmosphere! Lovely service! Everything was quite superb. 🙌APPS: Granola to snack on.COFFEE: Moroccan latte oat milk &Honey latte almond milkCRÊPES: the Grand Prix & the Lemon + strawberries (peep 👀 the menu photos for tasty descriptions of food!)
Casual and easy. This is a lovely little joint that serves a really good food, has a great upbeat vibe, amazing art on the walls and overall is a good find.I feel it is slightly overpriced. But not really really expensive. $18 for crepes and a cup of tea was more than I was expecting. I could see bringing a family of 4 costing $60+ easily.
Ive been coming here for a few years; the atmosphere and staff are always great! Recently Ive noticed a bit of a decline in quality though. The sweet dishes are still great, but the savory dishes are a bit funky. On this visit, we got the sauteed kale and arugula pesto, the Jamaican Jerk, banana walnut, the sugar crepe, a side of potato wedges, and a couple coffees. The Jamaican, banana, and sugar crepes were great! The kale and arugula pesto dish was very cumin heavy; it overpowers nearly all of the other ingredients. The side of potatoes were nice and crispy, but the oil they use to fry them in makes it taste a lot like a doughnut. The cold brew coffee was great! The black coffee was very acidic and a bit muddy.Overall, I really do like this place and would still recommend it. I was here a couple weeks back and didnt encounter any of these issues, so it may have been a one-off situation. I would recommend the sweet dishes over the savory ones though.
I absolutely fell in love with this place. It’s a little hidden GEM. from the outside doesn’t look like much but once inside it’s so different.Decor: Industrial. So pretty. There is art everywhere.Ambiance: chill very relaxingPlenty of sitting avail. The employees were just super cool, chill and out going.Food: wowowowow yummy! I had the breakfast tacos and really enjoyed them. They are filling tho. Latte was on point!!! Love love love.Highly recommend***this might not seem like a big deal but their “to go” container really did it for me! How many times do you take your food to go and the steam makes you fries or food super soggy!! Yeah all the time! But here they put some thought to fix that! See pic ***
Must stop-in and Enjoy a crepe! Plus ask for MacKenzie-manager [pictured below] and let her know her local lyft driver Alice sent you and you might get a special treat! She is off on Thursdays! The owner is the chef and makes everything from scratch ( except for the nutella)! He also is open for private events! Vegan and gluten free friendly!! Its a must to come and experience the great family vibes!!
What a snazzy spot for coffee, crepes, and adult drinking! Perfect spot for a date or a casual breakfast/brunch or lunch. The sweet crepes were very tasty, had a lemon and strawberry crepe with a delicious mocha chocolate milk. Perfect breakfast, not heavy, not too sweet. Found a new place for crepes!
Highly recommended. Staff is very friendly. The food was excellent both savory and sweet. Looking forward to returning.
Everything thing here is amazing. They make the BEST cappuccino that i have found in all of the valley. The staff is super friendly. Highly recommend this place.
Fantastic! I recommend the very savory and delicious Jamaican Jerk crepe. I will forsure be returning, as I look forward to trying other menu items.
Savory crepes were good, but the sweet ones were even better. Coffee was good too. Definitely worth trying. The art on the walls inside gave it a very interesting vibe
Hefty and generous portions, but the savory crepes did not really leave an impression on me; Im still interested in coming back to try out the sweet crepes! Also, the prices on the menu do not reflect the actual price that I paid
Yummy is my first expression. The girl at the register was very busy but tried her best to be friendly. Definitely did not expect this place to be this good. The outside was questionable but the inside is cozy. The granola with coffee while you wait for food AMAZING. Only suggestion would be to add an extra egg to chilaquiles to balance the beans and chorizo. Also, a soyrizo option would be much better
Came here for the first time a couple weekends ago and its awesome. The food was great and the staff was very helpful/accommodating for newcomers who arent familiar with the menu. Definitely recommend checking it out.
Really good vibe on this place. And pork belly crepe was great!
AMAZING! I don’t really like crepe but the pork belly crepe man……so good.
I would go back to this place simply because of the customer service! Their passion shows from when they ring you up till they plate your food and throughout enjoying it. It’s hard to find customer service like that! Coffee was brewed well and fresh, food was artistic yet not over the top cost wise. I can’t wait to try more menu options in the near future!
Excellent place! Very unassuming from the outside--it has a hole-in-the-wall look to it til you come in. Its a big place with a cool atmosphere and lots of funky artwork. Service was great, everyone was very pleasant. We liked the food, too, though wed try some different stuff next time. If you like bananas and chocolate and its your first time, get the First Time (trust me). We also got a chilaquile crepe. It was good, but it was -not- your traditional crepe, more of a fancy Spanish breakfast nacho. If you really, really want a crepe in the truest sense of the word, try something different. The coffees were tiny, but strong. We got cappuccinos. By the way, be sure to pay attention to the descriptions on the menus. There was no sweetness to our drinks at all, so take that into account. If you want a sweet cappuccino, try the Cuban instead.MAKE SURE you get the side of potatoes with the brava sauce! It sounds silly but this was my FAVORITE part of the visit. I couldve eaten a whole platter of them. Will definitely be back to try other items!
Ive been here three times now, and every time is better than the last. From the servers to the kitchen staff to the management, everyone is always so friendly. The last time I visited it was decently close to closing time, but the staff was just as enthusiastic as when Ive visited earlier in the morning. The food is always great. Its the perfect amount of food, and it has such great flavor. I will keep visiting for sure!
Check your expectations at the door and enter with an open palate. This ain’t your typical breakfast joint. And that’s precisely what makes it special. You won’t find massive greasy portions of cheap and quick breakfast fare here. Instead, you’re greeted with thoughtfully crafted crepe combinations you’re unlikely to have ever imagined prior. Here, simplicity is somehow magically transformed into depth and profundity. It’s a treat for the taste buds.Alongside your entree you’ll find an assortment of coffee drinks and cocktails. They’ve got a professional espresso machine and a top notch barista churning out high quality espresso drinks, and at good prices, too. This is a place you come to in order to impress your mom or your lover. Come for the crepes. Stay for the coffee. And come back again next weekend to try a new crepe and cocktail.
My 8 yr old describes it as amazing. Fresh locally sourced dynamic menu. Well be back!
Good natural food. Art on the walls to view or buy while you wait.
One of my favorite places in Tempe. Excellent savory and sweet crepes, great coffee and espresso, and the presentation and taste are off the charts.
Amazing food and great bloody marys!
Super savory and delish. We will definitely be back.
Small, friendly restaurant. Order at the counter, take a letter and find a seat. They give you a little bowl of granola while you wait for your order. The food was great! I got the Second Time which is Nutella, bananas, and strawberries. It was fantastic and I was ready to order a savory crepe to go! Definitely will be going back!
What a remarkable place to enjoy a high quality meal at an exceptionally fair price. The interior has fantastic character, dripping with local art for sale. The Gran Prix is absolutly heavenly! Now only if I could convince you to ditch the scones and go full cookie with the option of large cups for my iced coffee. 😂Keep up the wonderful work. I simply adore the wonderful food you prepare. Soo primo!
When arriving to Crepe Bar the front is unassuming. The indoor decor is clean, modern and welcoming. The food was full of flavor and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast burrito and Jerk crepe. Seriously the best crepe Ive had! We will definitely be back to support this great local business!!
Great service and great food. We went outside the box and tried the Crepe burrito and Crepe chilaquiles, we were impressed. Food tastes very fresh and great seasoning. We had a sweet Crepe for dessert and it didn’t disappoint!!! This was a great find and we’ll be back!!!
The crepes are delicious and their iced Chai is amazing.
Everything was simply delicious! Crepes, granola..yummy!! The chef is on point and even came out to see how our breakfast was! Will absolutely return!
Absolutely delicious. I tried the chicken tahini crepe and it was phenomenal especially loved the roasted chickpeas they served it with. They also make some great granola to snack while your waiting on your food. Ill definitely be going here again.
Same time every time its just great. Get the side of pork belly nuff said. Thank you for being courteous, consistent and delicious. Im thinking once a week aint enough, see you soon
This place smells and tastes amazing. Theres a lot of care and thought put into this place and you can tell when you eat fresh locally sourced food. Delicious! Thank you.
Delicious granola, crepes and cocktails! What more could you want?
Crepe Bar has some work to do, the vibe is always off when you enter and I feel like the employees are unhappy. I ordered the Grand Prix and at first bite, nothing savory or soft about it. The crispy, dry crepe was overcooked. I heard several employees apologizing while there to who seemed to be the overpowering manager, such an uncomfortable experience.
I always go to this place because I like the food and the ambiance. But today, one of the female servers, who has been working there for awhile was so grumpy and snapped at us because we asked for a small amount of whip cream for my pup. And my friend asked for another silverware. She got some serious attitude today, I dont know why but it was unacceptable and she knew me I was a regular at that place. But other than that the food was still fabulous.
Delicious food, friendly employees and nice atmosphere
10/10 for taste (seriously incredible food)10/10 for presentation9/10 for atmosphere (only a high top was available)7/10 for service (took a long time and was weirdly self-seve but nothing was available for you so you had to ask)2/10 for portion size (went home and had a bowl of cereal and some watermelon)2/10 for price - 2 meals and 2 non-alcoholic beverages should not be $40 when you go home hungry)I’d probably go again but wouldn’t make it a regular thing
Place was a GREAT find! Delicious food and very nice workers. We made sure to go back for breakfast before we got on the plane!!!
Fun little place that has a hipster type of vibe. The portions might be small, and a bit pricey, but it makes for good Instagram photos. The owner was on some cooking TV show so you are in good hands quality wise.
First time here! Breakfast tacos are amazing and the vanilla bean crepe is so good! Topped off with The Business, coffee/bourbon!
Great, upbeat cafe. Service was wonderful but the food was amazing. I didnt think much from the outside appearance, expecting fast food quality, but I couldnt have been more wrong. They used to be a food truck, so are very trendy with local ingredients and heritage veggies. Awesome. We plan to make this a new regular breakfast place.
Very good crepes and pork belly.
Delicious! I tried a savory crepe and it was amazing. The granola was the most delicious I’ve ever had and I picked up two bags to take home. I am excited to go back and try a sweet crepe :) If you are on the fence...hop off and go get your crepe on.
Ive been coming here pretty regularly the past few weeks and have tried a variety of items, which are all on point. The Papa K is great, and comes with a crispy cheese skirt thatll make any cheese-a-holics happy. The roasted mushrooms are tasty, and definitely a must try for mushroom fans. The sweet offerings are also quite tasty and I really enjoy the blintz offering. Savory crepes come with a little side of dressed greens with sliced pickles that add a nice acidic bite to cut through the richness of the crepes. And from someone whos not a major pickle person...the pickles are super tasty. When I go I pick up one of the scones of the day, especially on a Sunday visit, for a tasty next-day breakfast while working. Awesome flavor combos that really hit the mark while being moist and not overly sweetThe staff is great. Theyre all super friendly and you can tell they put love into what youre getting. I was in earlier and the owner Jeff was there and I had a chat with him. Hes super nice, chill, and definitely makes you feel welcome and like you want to come back with all your friends.I recommend this place for sure. Tasty times with some good kitchen vibes
Phenomenal service! The Team members attitudes and attentiveness was awesome! Food was hot, amazing, and came out quick. Definitely a must if you love crepes
I love this place! So tasty!
Come on... This place is amazing.
Very cute place
We ordered sweet and savory crepes for take out. The food was so delicious and hit the spot! They used sustainable packaging and it was still beautifully presented. And I love the sweet added touch if writing thank you with the crepe name in each box! Cant wait to dine in here and will definitely order from again.
The crepes are delicious, The granola is delicious. Definitely worth a stop here if you are in the area.
Amazing crepes. The Grand Prix - coffee crepe was delicious. Coffee also very good.
The food is great! The sweet to the savory crepes are fantastic!
Awesome, great staff, food is very good
Savory & Sweet!First time in and got a medley of crepesChorizo burrito was very satisfying as a breakfast with a decent hit of heatHad 2 sweet crepes the First Timer and a Vanilla crepe. Both excellent and huge hits with the kiddoWould recommend checking it outOnly gripe is limited outdoor seating and having to put our 5 year old on a high stool at the one table outside we found
Located in South Tempe this little food truck turned hidden gem restaurant is spectacular. The food is simple and the ingredients are flavorful and not overwhelming. I had two savory crepes and two Nutella crepes. I had one with ham, cheese, eggs, and mushrooms with a chickpea batter crepe, and another with the same batter with avocado, beans, eggs and peppered cheese. The usual consumer would probably want one crepe but I have serious problems. We will definitely be back to have breakfast at this place.
The service was amazing and the food was phenomenal!!!! Although some prices were slightly higher that prefered the food was %100 worth every penny. The food itself is a healthy and they offer different substitutions and gluten free options as well. The restaurant is clean and well kept and also decorated very aesthetically with light fixtures, artwork, and more! Will for sure be visiting again.
First impression was that it was a fun but quirky place. Very comfortable and inviting when we talked in the door. The ONLY thing we didnt enjoy was not knowing what to do when we walked in the door: there was a register (think Starbucks) but we saw table service. The menu and its creativity were amazing: sweet, savory, traditional.Imagine an independent coffee house feel inside....but with amazing crepes that youve never imagined!
Took food to go and it was fast and friendly service. The food was some of the best Ive had, everything tasted fresh and not heavy. Will be coming back!
The crepes were great! Service wasn’t. It was extremely busy, which I imagine it always is. Ordering at the counter would make things go quicker I would think, but not so much. Even after waiting in line to order, the wait was 20+ minutes for 2 crepes.
