Cant be happier with their professional and efficient help during the crisis when my surface pro broke down. It took them just about 24 hours from taking my laptop to diagnosis to changing the battery (involving removing and putting back the screen safely without breaking it) and getting the device ready to run again!Jennifer took time to clearly understand the problem and explained to me possible ways of handling. As I shared that I urgently needed the data within those two days, they were very kind to immediately work on the order. Manny followed up quickly after his diagnostic check and explained to me that the root cause was with the swollen lithium battery. I was lucky that their inventory of that battery just arrived at the store, so Manny proceeded to work on the replacement right away and finally got it ready to go with another half day or so. The best part is that he did his best to keep the screen intact so I could save the $50 from replacing the screen; this is definitely customer-oriented service.Their communication was friendly and helpful. They were willing to answer my questions patiently and share the status update with me. Not to mention they really showed empathy and made me feel better when these technical problems could be frustrating. Thank you! Highly recommended!

Chris is fantastic...He was able to diagnose and fix all of my concerns a lot faster than I thought it would take. Turned a two week headache into a 2 hour fix that other big chain operations were going to have me jump through hoops for. I am new to the area here in Tempe. I tried contacting a few stores to help me with my issue and this place told me to come in and they would help me even though it was not something they typically do. The gentleman on the phone was very kind and helpful and so was the lady who assisted me when I arrived. She already knew what I was there for meaning they communicate very well with one another. Very clean and professional place. They can work on your desk top, laptop and many other items Im sure. They seemed to have alot of knowledge and lots of rebuilt computers all over displayed new and used options for good pricing for school, college or business. High performance gaming towers too. I work in customer service, so Im very sympathetic to these kinds of things generally, and I have honestly never gone out of my way to leave a bad review, but in this case unfortunately I believe it is warranted.I dropped off my laptop for a repair and I was given an estimate of one week for the repair, since they needed to order the part. Long story short, I ended up waiting three and a half weeks, and every time I wanted to get a status update, I had to reach out to them. The delay was due to USPS weather delays, which I completely understand; however, there was just a complete lack of communication from them.I gave them an opportunity to make things right by bringing it to their attention, and ended up receiving a $5 Starbucks gift card as a consolation.I think in a normal situation, with no shipping delays, things would have worked out just fine. Its been a couple weeks since I picked it up and the laptop is working fine. I was just disappointed with the customer service (which I do not take saying lightly, believe me).

I’m technically challenged on every device. So I went to desert computer solutions for much needed assistance. Not only did they solve my problem but they took the time to patiently explain what to do in the future with my computer. They even had me demonstrate so I can do it by myself. They have a long list of electronic components they recycle. Visit their website. They accepted an old fax machine. Just placed it on the pallet behind the store. The little interaction I did have was very friendly. Good to know a place in town that recycles old electronics.

UPDATE: Don’t buy from this store. We just found out the dell computer they sold was recalled in 2013!!! They were selling defective recalled items. Just ghetto. The laptop doesn’t connect to WiFi it actually has to plug into a modem! These computers are so raggedy and just a waste of money. Save yourself the stress and go to Walmart or Best Buy. At least you can actually return or exchange it if you encounter any problems.Older Caucasian lady that works here is very rude!!! The door was locked so we knocked because business hours showed they were still open. She opened up the door and said rudely “can I help you???” My friend said yes we’d like to buy a computer. She didn’t apologize for answering the door rudely or even explain why the doors were locked during business hours at 3:45 pm. This is the second time we came and she’s just as rude as the first time around. Keep in mind you get what you pay for at this store. Laptops are cheap because they’re mostly defective. We got a laptop and the camera is defective and only shows up in black and white coloring. We went through everything we could to change the camera to color and no such luck. Well while I was using the laptop for work come to find out the camera had a glitch. Sometimes the camera is in black and white, sometimes it’s in beige, sometimes it’s in orange, and for a very few rare seconds the camera will go to full color. No way they review these devices before selling them, or maybe they do and just don’t care! The other laptop we got which was a dell has NO CAMERA! Really!?? I mean have you ever seen a laptop with no camera at all??? Ugh this store’s merchandise is so horrible!! Don’t shop here it’s a total waste of time! Save yourself the stress and go to a real electronic store where the electronics won’t be defective!!!
