The person in front is nice but the who made my espresso coffee is unhygienic. Not because you don’t look rich as the other patrons here you can overlook putting a lid to a customer’s coffee that has been sitting in the counter for awhile. Don’t rationalize because clearly the other’s orders were served with lids on except mine. Why can’t people treat people nicely irregardless how they presented themselves. Wasted my 15% tip!

I come here everyday and they have really nice coffee — my favorites are the cappuccino and the Vietnamese iced coffee.10/10 coffee trust me i was the bean 👁👄👁

I liked the location, the atmosphere and of course the coffee. Also they have very delicious bakery things. The staff is young, energetic and smiling person.

Friendly service. The cold brew is very concentrated with some bitter acridity; definitely not my favorite in the area. That said, Ill probably be back at some point to try their other coffees - the Vietnamese sounded really good, if not a little too sweet

This is a great coffee shop in Tenafly, and it has recently become my favorite place to get coffee! The staff are very friendly, and its a great atmosphere. Its a nice place to bring your laptop and do work or to just kick back with a friend. They also have great healthy breakfast options, which makes this a really great place to jump start your day.

Cute little coffee place with limited seating. Long narrow space consists of little stools and tables and some high chairs. Decor is modern rustic and I think WiFi was decent.If you’re looking to do some work and are able to get a seat it’s a convenient place!

Thankfully has stayed open for grab n go through the COVID outbreak. I cant thank the baristas enough for their mask wearing and hyper vigilance to social distancing. I feel 10000% confident in getting anything form here. I hope they survive this temporary shut down. Best coffee place around !

Best coffee in town

The greatest coffee in the state (among those I know). They do really-really awesome coffee and matcha. Desserts are great as well. Personnel is friendly. Perfect space for relax, work, or just to have a cup of actual proper cappuccino. Necessary to visit at least once!

This message is strictly for the owner.Yesterday I went to buy a coffee and after handing out the money to the young gentleman taking care of me I wanted to quickly clean my hands with sanatyzer but the store did not have one the young gentleman told me that he has his own for his own useI think it is unacceptable for a business owner not to be mindful of having at least a bottle of sanitizer on the counter in case your customers need to use it.

I love this place because it has very tasty coffee, the staff is polite, and if you are hungry then they have a choice of different sandwiches and other dishes.

Theres finally a cool cafe in this area that nails the equally components of design and coffee! I like this spot better than the original in Ridgewood. Love the space itself-- its cool and inviting, making it easy to spend hours there to do work or simply socialize. The Intelligentsia coffee is really high quality (Im especially a fan of their cold brew).The staff is really friendly too! Its my favorite new local spot so I highly recommend

I really like this place. The staff is wonderful. The coffee is very good but leaves some room for improvement. I guess I will have to go back everyday for the next year to see if they deserve that 5th star.

Greta atmosphere, very comfortable. The coffee menu is great, select choice of high end beans prepared to your specs. I will get a pourover if time permits. The baristas know what they are doing. Food menu is limited but fresh and tasty. Recommend the salmon toast.

PROS: The place is cleaner than a usual coffee shop. The staff is very nice and are willing to help you with your selection. Their prices are usual for a coffee shop and the food and the beverages here are good. The atmosphere here is very nice: wooden floor and tables, brick wall, chalkboard​ menus, etc which makes it look authentic to a coffee shop.CONS: There is only street parking unless you want to park in a lot far away. The internet is extremely slow here, slower than a starbucks. There is only 3 outlets in this entire place and its cramped inside. The menu options were also limited compared to nearby places like cool beans and starbucksOVERALL: I wouldnt choose this place over competitors​ but if you just want to run in and get something quick and run out than this place would be fine

Chnaged my 5 star rating to 2 stars after my last visit. Service was friendly enough but the iced coffee was just awful. I think there may have been a management change but my favorite coffee, New Orleans iced coffee, is nothing like what it was. Now it just tastes like some bland Dunkin donuts cofee and there is nothing special about it. If thats not bad enough, the cup was filled with mostly milk and ice. I drank about a quater of the cup and threw the rest out. Will not be going back.

I had great expectations for this coffee shop given the good reviews but they fell flat. Ive been to many coffee shops all over the world and this one has great potential but doesnt wow me. We came on a Sunday morning and the service was poor. I ordered a nutella coconut latte (mixed two menu items) and forgot to order with non dairy milk. The barista quickly offered to make me a new one even though it was my error which I will admit was very nice of him. I gave him a $5 tip but when I got the latte it was flavorless. After asking if he put the flavor in he said oh one second let me put some more in. I still didnt taste any nutella or coconut. We also ordered an acai bowl which took a while (10 min?) to make even though we were the only order. The bowl was good and well presented but I think they should put granola in their bowls which is more typical. We also ordered a chocolate croissant and asked twice for it to be heated up but it was served cold. The barista was also on his phone the entire time. Even though it wasnt busy it looked unprofessional and like he wasnt being attentive which was reflected in the service. The atmosphere of this place is quite nice, and it indeed has potential if service improves and they improve their food offerings. Also keep in mind this is a pretty small coffee shop- good for catching up with a friend or taking coffee to go but probably not working in for a few hours.

They brew intelligentsia, which is an excellent coffee. Prices are slightly more expensive than Starbucks, but worth it. Comparable to Redeye coffee in Montclair, NJ but Redeye offers food other than pastries.

Tenafly Coffee Company, the sister store to Ridgewood Coffee Company, is like a niche New York City coffee shop located in the heart of suburban New Jersey. The beans that TCC uses for their espresso and drip coffees are bought from Intelligentsia, a prominent roaster based out of Chicago. Intelligentsia is a company that has formed close, personal relationships with farms across the world, and each of their coffees has a different story and tasting palette surrounding them. This is the kind of shop where you can order a traditional cappuccino or macchiato, and expect to receive something made with care and attention to detail. Tenafly Coffee Companys breakfast pastry selection include a variety of croissants and danishes from Balthazar in Englewood, and a traditional French bakery based in NYC called Ceci Cela. I highly suggest pulling up a seat at one of the tables with a computer or book in hand, and ordering a raspberry torsade with a gibraltar (also known as a cortado) to drink. This is certainly the kind of place you will want to stay at for a while!

If Brooklyn has a Brooklyn Coffee Company, Tenafly has a Tenafly Coffee Company. Once inside the cafe, you can feel the cafe atmosphere that is common in New York City, but not easily found in New Jersey (?). Coffee is Intelligen tea. Bread seems to come from nearby Balthazar Bakery. I drank Afogato and Cold Brew and it wasnt bad. One more place to go.

The coffee taste is good, and there is a parking lot behind the building, so it is convenient.
