It’s a quiet place to study and have a cup of coffee and a quick bite. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

Biscuits and gravy was a good choice and a different take on a classic dish. I had the pumpkin cold brew with cream during my visit. The only thing I would like to see different was being able to order coffee on the restaurant side. Going between the two restaurant sides through a narrow hallway was awkward.

Been here once before. Its a cool place with a number of drinks and snacks. I tried some sort of scone that I think had rhubarb in it, and it was very tasty. I got a cappuccino that was not all that great but I think itd be worth another try.

This place is worth every penny. Excellent staff here. They are always so friendly. The manager, Tihomir, literally knows every customer by name who comes in regularly. Im so glad this place is by my work, and it is easily accessible to me.

Really enjoyed my stop in here. Coming off of US-41 took a mere 4 minutes to reach Federal Coffee at the corner of Seventh and Wabash. I ordered a nitro cold brew which tasted great and was exactly what I needed during my trip to Chicago! The baristas were very friendly and quickly took care of the 6-7 person line.

I enjoyed my latte. I believe it was a seasonal sip, something with lavender maybe?, and I asked for it with oatmilk. I also had a vegan power bowl, which was delicious if a little pricey. I think with a place like this youre paying for quality of ingredients, attention to detail, and atmosphere. I cant afford to make this my regular coffee spot, but Im glad I got the chance to try it.

Used the outdoor drive through. Very friendly staff for our first time here. Wife got the very berry boba tea which she loves! Will be going back again to try other items in the near future.

The staff is always so friendly and helpful, and the coffee is great! Must-stop if youre in the downtown area and looking for a delicious coffee or a freshly-made snack! (My go-to order is an iced caramel macchiato and a scone!) They also have a great rewards system to earn free drinks by entering your phone number or using the same payment card each time you shop!

Not the most lgbt friendly place. I was visiting with a bunch of friends from out of town. The system they use to take names automatically logs the name used on and the debit card. Unlucky for me my deadname got shouted out to all of my friends. It felt humiliating to walk up and receive my order under it and all my friends were super uncomfortable hearing it called out (most of them had no clue what it was before). I understand you want to feel high tech by having peoples names automatically load up, but it doesnt take a lot of time and gives a more personalized experience to the customer to have the Barista ask. The machine they were using is 100% capable of doing it, Ive seen it at multiple boba tea/coffee shops before.Overall, wouldnt recommend for any of my lgbt friends who are uncomfortable being deadnamed in front of their friends and strangers. It doesnt take a lot of effort to ask people their names and create an inclusive, welcoming environment.

Obsessed with this coffee shop not just for their coffee but also the food! I’m so excited to be able to eat The Butlers Pantry Food Co food at any time of the day. The food here is chef-prepared and they use local ingredients. So glad they offer Vegetarian, vegan, and GF options as it’s hard to find stuff like that in town. The owners are some of the hardest working people I know and so sweet.The walk-up window is genius, so now I can stop by when I’m walking my doggo and sit on the patio.Super pumped to have a coffee shop like this downtown!

Been here twice on our out of town business trip. Went yesterday and got a good frozen chocolate frapachino so sent my adult special needs son there today from our hotel to get breakfast wanting same thing. He stated he wanted frozen chocolate toffee and they asked him iced or hot. He didnt know better and said iced since apparently they didnt listen to him saying frozen so thought perhaps some reason they couldnt today and thought no more of it. He got to the room and it wasnt even a chocolate toffee frapachino but rather a mocha espresso. Definition not at all what I wanted. After hours of trying to call.with no answer, emails unanswered and even Facebook messenger ignored guessing its a loss cause. Definitely order there so you can check it before you leave or buyer beware. Sad thought I found my new to go to place while here. 😐

The best coffee in Terre Haute! You can truly tell that their drinks and foods are crafted with love, expertise and high quality ingredients. I love that most of their drinks use handmade syrups as well. The salted caramel latte is my favorite drink and the cinnamon rolls are to die for!

Nice little place to grab coffee. First time coming in and the service was friendly and quick. A decent pastry selection and the breakfast sandwich is well worth a try. Wifi is free and speedy. Coffee is hot and strong. Overall nothing to complain about and worth the walk.

I genuinely hate giving 3 stars, when 1st opening I gave 5 stars because it takes time to get everything going smoothly and get everything 100%. I love the location, and the overall atmosphere is pretty cool. I just can’t get past the taste of the coffee... I should say lack of taste :/ we have tried it a few times now and there’s just not that bold, robust coffee(espresso) flavor I look for when I look for a good coffee. Each drink just taste like a steamed milk. Also service seems slightly rushed/ impersonal compared to other coffee shops we’ve been to, and often times it’s unclear when our coffee is ready and just kind of sits at the counter with others. (Possibly that name wasn’t called, or we just couldn’t hear it being called).I will definitely go back, and maybe the times we’ve been in, it’s just been at a rough time. I just love supporting local coffee shops, when we travel we always try and find the cool local coffee spots out of town, so of course we love supporting the locals in our own town.

Fabulous pastries, my cafe au lait was so yummy. I will make this a regular stop when I need a coffee/treat pick me up. Very reasonable prices. Earth friendly/biodegradable plates, cups, and silverware. Nice touch.👍

My coworkers and I love Federal! The coffee and service are amazing every single visit. My only concern is that Ive now had 2 items that were still rather undercooked. I had a cinnamon roll today and a slice of berry pie opening week, and both were still very stringy and doughy. The rest of the food Ive had there has been wonderful. Thank you for providing a great space for all of us who work downtown to enjoy! 😊

I wish I didnt live so far away from this coffee shop. The environment is so homey and the matcha was simply delicious. Plus the jalapeño bacon cheese danish was the perfect spicy and sweet treat.

Federal was excellent, both in service and coffee quality. They make a great dirty chai! The food is incredible as well, and served quickly. We have tried a collection of both sweet and savory options, as well as drip, frozen and mixed coffee drinks. Always a pleasure! And always tasty.

This is an amazing coffee shop with great atmosphere, awesome service thats quick but doesnt feel rushed, and of course, great coffee. My favorite is the mocha. It doesnt overpower you with chocolate and sugar, but it has just the right about of flavor.

First off, the coffee and all the baked good are AMAZING and the atmosphere is very relaxing! BUT THE BEST PART IS one time I locked my keys & phone in my car right outside the shop and the they were extremely helpful! One of the sweet employees let me barrow his phone and wished me luck!

Love the airy ness and atmosphere.....feels so fresh, open, and light. I’m a sucker for vintage and history so this hits the spot.....love the restoration of old and the merging of new. Both times I have been the staff have been super sweet and of course my drinks and gluten free food have been top notch! I love the local honey and lavender in the house made chai! 👏🏻

Great atmosphere & coffee with so many delicious non-dairy options. The berry scones and sandwiches on their fresh farmhouse ciabatta bread were beyond YUM! The Krauts have lovingly revived this space - can’t wait to bring friends and out of town guests here!

Lots of good drinks and pastries. They also have salads and sandwiches which I didnt realize. Outdoor seating was available and indoor seating was comfortable.
