The entire staff is excellent!! I was greeted when I entered the showroom. Our salesperson, Vinni, was most helpful and courteous addressing all our questions and concerns quickly.Finance person, Brian, was most competent completing all the paperwork quickly and accurately. He was also very thorough explaining each document I signed.In all, a most positive experience with clean facility and very friendly service. Literally the best service I’ve ever had anywhere. A DIY car repair gone wrong, oil pouring out of my engine, and a panicked phone call to Ira who said “no problem” even though it was a Saturday at noon. I had to call AAA for a tow, and AAA gave me a 3 hour window. The Ira service folks on the phone were so accommodating. They were understanding and told me I could show up whenever, and someone would take me. We rolled into Ira 3 hours later and Chris was so nice. He was extremely knowledgeable, very personable, and very honest. One hour later, my car was fixed. Check in and check out was very smooth. No one tried to price gouge me or get me to pay for something I didn’t need. I’ve had service done at three different Toyota dealerships across the country, and all were great, but Ira was the best. If I’m ever in need of a repair again, I will go to Ira.

2 hours and 35 min for an oil change and tire rotation. That was with an appointment. Only reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is the advisor was kind and understanding of the situation. Will I be back? Not unless I have no other choice. Plenty of other Toyota dealerships around to do the recommended work.

Went for my 100,000 mile tune up and they explained to me what had to be fixed before doing anything. David J, the Service Advisor was great! He presented me with simple check box to choose what to fix and what to deny to fix to fit my budget through an email. I was enjoying watching the Red Sox game, per my request, in very comfortable seats and waiting area. Wait time was long and price was expensive but it was all expected with pre warning by Dave when I spoke to him upon arrival. Thanks for a great experience!

Super easy to make an appointment for service online. I didn’t buy my car here or even in Massachusetts. I was checked in easily and waited less time then quoted. The waiting room was very nice and easy to spread out. My itemized list was sent to my phone and I got a paper copy to keep for my records.I can’t believe it was this easy. Honestly, I had previously had my last car serviced at a Mercedes dealership. I enjoyed this experience better! Seriously.

Semi-Good experience at Ira Toyota of Tewksbury.. We absolutely love our new Toyota Highlander ! Great service DURING the buying process, however now that we have the vehicle I cannot get some (very minimal) help that I’ve been requesting from the finance manager Cassandra.. it’s like she doesn’t have “enough time” to even respond to us now that she has gotten our sale out of the way .. very disappointed to say the least… was so happy during the purchase but this after-purchase experience has ruined my opinion on this company.

Car feels great after the inspection and tune up, no complaints there.Be prepared to stay for longer than your expected duration. Was told after inspection that additional brake replacements would take 45 mins, ended up taking almost 2 hours. I was told things get crazy on Saturdays as an explanation by the same person who originally assured me that it would only take 45 minutes.

My appointment was at 11.30 a.m., and I arrived promptly. I ordered parts two weeks ago, and they said they would contact me once they arrived. I have not received any calls from them. I inquired about the service cost for that job more than an hour ago and received no response from Kodi (customer service representative). I inquired again after 1 pm and he said no quote, then he called someone on the phone who said the job would take 6 hours and the service quotation was too high. It took about 2 hours to check my service quote, which was a waste of time, therefore I canceled my work and purchased components.Customer service is lacking. The facility has been renovated, however the service is poor.

Scheduled an appointment for a low pressure fuel pump recall on my Tacoma. Drove an hour after work to drop off the truck before they closed at 7pm. I show up and the tech asks me how much gas I have in my tank I told him a full tank I filled it Sunday before the work week. He then tells me oh you need to have a half tank or less for us to do the recall. Then he says there’s a recall on the tail light but he can’t check it if it’s raining out. So he pretty much wasted my entire evening down there for nothing.I also reached out to let them know I was interested in a 4 runner and if they had anything. Debora over there was very vague and told me she didn’t have anything, I then asked her to help me find one and got no response. I then reached out to Acton Toyota and they were extremely helpful and went out of there way to help me find one.I would never in my life go back to Tewksbury Toyota

The salesman was friendly. The car was great. However I made the mistake of not reading the contract before putting pen to paper.They charged a $495 documentation feeAnd $2,785.00 to cover certain mechanical repairs. Jesus Christ! Lesson learned.They also added a total loss protection for $1,000 which doesnt that bad.Will add an additional $5,000 in warranties without telling you.

On August 24, I left my car for a regular maintenance and to rotate the tires, my car was silent as always. Next day when I picked up the car there was a terrible and loud noise coming from wheels. Brought the car back and they said that wheel bearing was damaged. What? Damage by who? Tooth faire In the middle of the night? No way to talk reasonably with anyone. They just want your money.Who drove my car inside the shop from the beginning and after should tell the difference. Someone damage my car and I had to paid for, over tide the tires.By the way, my car is only 2 years old.Never again they will see me there, ever! Sebastian was excellent to work with. This is the 3rd vehicle I have purchased at IRA and they have all been very reliable Toyotas! We picked up the car and immediately took off on a vacation to the mid coast of Maine. I am ecstatic to report our new Prius Prime is averaging 63 miles to the gallon. My wife still can’t get over it. After 199 miles I stopped for gas and I could only fit 3.1 gallons at a cost of $10. I expect the same reliability that I have gotten from my 07 Camry and 05 Sienna. The Sienna is still with us and going strong at 236,000 miles.

On August 6th 2007, my wife purchased an 07 Toyota Solara from Ira Toyota of Tewksbury, MA with an extended service contract also purchased through the dealership (6 yrs/100K miles). At the time, it was not disclosed to my wife that the (near-new) car had been in a previous reported accident and that it was used as a fleet vehicle (we figured this out many years later!). Interesting business practice, ha.In her time owning the vehicle, she has been very diligent in seeking routine maintenance and oil changes. On an afternoon in April 2013, we noticed moderate power loss accompanied with extreme oil consumption (the engine was consuming 1 quart of oil per day). We brought the vehicle to Pudgys Auto Repair in Lynn, who noted the piston rings were malfunctioning and fried, and that the only possible remedies were an engine rebuild or a full engine replacement, which would cost between $4,000-$6,000. We then opened a case with Toyota Corporate via telephone on 5/1/13 concerning the excessive oil consumption and premature malfunction of the piston rings with the Toyota Solara. At the time, the extended service contract had expired less than 9 months prior despite the vehicle having just under 72K miles. Naturally, we wanted to check to see if Toyota Corporate could help fund the repair, and/or if there were any recalls on relevant engine-related functions or parts. The supervisor we spoke with mentioned there were NO recalls or technical service bulletins (TSBs) on piston rings and that this was an issue that had once affected the Toyota Solara, but it had been fixed for the 07 model. Toyota Corporate did not offer to help pay for the repair.Due to the falsely conveyed notion from Toyota that this was not a known issue or one that seemed particularly problematic to 07 Toyota Solaras, we did not think to stay up-to-date on Toyota recalls, TSBs, or warranty extension programs in the ensuing 3-4 years.Shortly after in May 2013, we sought a second opinion from a certified mechanic in Melrose. He mentioned a cheaper quasi-alternative, to try to perform a temporary quick-fix solution to clean out the engine and return the vehicle to operating condition. He warned us that there was a significant likelihood the procedure would fail and she would need a new engine or an engine rebuild. Seeing no other affordable options, we asked Mr. Turnbull to attempt the temporary quick-fix procedure on May 7th. Ever since this effort was successfully completed, my wifes Solara has been on the road running, but while consuming at least 1 quart of oil for every 800-1,100 miles.We first learned reference to the 2015 Warranty Enhancement Letter ZE7 on July 7th, 2017 when we were doing our due diligence, preparing to sell the vehicle. This would allow us to receive an Oil Consumption Test from Ira Toyota Tewksbury to determine if we were eligible for a full engine rebuild (aka repair engine and its piston rings which Toyota was/is clearly trying to cover up as not being a product defect). This was roughly 7 months after the coverage expired for the Limited Service Campaign on the vehicle (10/31/2016). I called Toyota Corporate via telephone on 7/8/17 asking special permission to have the Oil Consumption Test administered on the Solara. I believed this was justifiable given excessive oil consumption and the malfunctioning piston rings issue were both noted in May 2013 as part of a case with Toyota Corporate, which was far before the end of the coverage offered by Warranty Enhancements Limited Service Campaign. The Toyota rep declined to fulfill my request.We then went to Ira Toyota in Tewksbury on 7/8/17 and spoke to David Joyce in the Service Dept, and he also refused to fulfill our request. All this, despite purchasing a car from them 10 years prior where it was not disclosed to my wife that the (near-new) car had been in a previous reported accident and that it was used as a fleet vehicle. He also said that their dealership would likely not take the vehicle as a trade-in. Sad, just sad.

The repair bill was more than I expected, but I don’t blame the staff for that. Was hoping that a loyal Toyota owner might get a break on a repair. Overall, I hope to stick with Toyota’s. We presently own 2 Ravs, and an Avalon. In the past, owned a Highlander.

The reasoning for the low rating is a reflection of pricing practices.This location and many but not all, are taking advantage of desperate consumers during this time by forcing $2000-$5000 “market” increases over MSRP on purchasers.It’s literally the luck of the day. A dealership in Dartmouth wasn’t up charging at all…however they didn’t have the base model I wanted….So I go to a dealership in Tewksbury because they have the model I want however they aren’t honoring MSRP and forcing an additional charge on me……I find this practice to be both sleazy and unprofessional…it’s why car salesmen get the reps that they do when most times it not their fault.I wouldn’t recommend any of my friends use this dealership.

If Amir is your salesman, walk out or ask for someone else. He is what gives car salesman a bad rep. He delivered my vehicle to the DMV because I live out of state and then just left. I had a paperwork problem at the DMV and ended up being stranded as he took my trade in vehicle back to Mass.A couple months later I tried to get a free oil change as Amir said I would have 3 with the purchase of a vehicle. The dealership didn’t have any record of this and when I called Amir, he told me he never said this.The vehicle better be great if you’re going to buy from Amir, because he will make your life difficult!

I have a very bad experience at IRA Toyota in tewksbury, MA. Me and my wife was looking for a car. She found what she likes, and ask if we can have a look inside and a test drive. They called the Sale Manager to help us. We told him what we want to see. He then asked us if we were just looking around or buying a car. I said both. My wife pointed at the car she wants to see. The sale manager then tells us to go out and get the Vehicle number, because he dont know which one where talking about,...so we did. We came back in with vehicle number and ask to test drive it. Sale manager then says, I have to go get the keys if you want to drive it. My wife then says, is there a problem with that ? . Manager says, No, so are you buying the car. I then pull my wife to the side and ask her to leave.

I made an appointment for my used Toyota rav 4 I bought from them .. the appointment was scheduled for 715. When I dropped the car off there where 2 other cars as well . So after talking to them it was 715. I asked if they were taking the car back now seeing how I’m from out of state which they new and I had to wait.. she said about 45 min . I said I had an appointment she replied just like at dr hairdresser and everyplace you going to have to wait about an hour, appointment or not .. so that applies here too.. also the work that was done wasn’t done properly and I had to take it to a a local macanic who fixed it and cost me .. so it took 4 visits they didn’t have the right Cheap tires they replaced my tires with . The service manager never called me back after 4 messages left..they were one major headache after another they couldn’t even fix their own make of car !! They should be ashamed !!!

Had some unexpected problems with my new 2021 Corolla. Toyota was helpful from start to finish. From roadside assistance to get our car towed to the dealership, to the mechanic in the service center who was accommodating and helpful. They will not honor any extended warranty if they dont have to. I bought my car as a certified pre-owned vehicle and was convinced by the finance department to get the platinum level warranty.Now when I try to use the warranty to fix a defective part that snapped in half (windshield wiper switch), they are doing everything they can to say it is not covered. They then tried to charge me 460$ to fix it (250$ at any regular garage).To his credit, the GM did respond to my first email pretty quickly, but his response was not good. He brought up that I had an oil change at a different place and suggested that maybe they broke the piece in my vehicle, but they never enter it.They also suggested that I may have hitThe GM sent me a copy of the warranty brochure stating that it says in there that my part is not covered, but it does not say that anywhere on the brochure. In fact, part of the brochure say that all manual switches are covered under warranty. When I email the GM again with my concerns I hear nothing back.Ira did offer me a discount on this part that they should have fixed under the warranty.Update: I brought my car to a different Toyota dealership and they fixed it on the spot under the warranty. It took under 30 minutes and took no money out of my pocket.Ira GM still has not returned my emails asking for clarification on the warranty

I have Toyota Platinum Warranty which basically covers all AC repairs.Your people in the shop told me that they couldn’t figure out what’s the reason behind the AC not functioning, so they wanted to run a diagnostic work which is not free of charge, and maybe I get reimbursed based off the outcome of the diagnostic. As far I know, any repair would be covered under my warranty so why I need to pay now. I was really not happy with this. I paid a lot for this diagnostic. Toyota, you can do better.

Negotiated a deal on a vehicle. All sides agreed on a price (I have emails supporting this) and I paid a $2000 deposit on incoming vehicle. After that the manager (or salesperson I do not know who he is) Kyle called me and said that the deal is off and I have to pay $4k extra over agreed price to keep it. He was rude and did not want to hear anything.No integrity and no honesty in this dealership. Avoid!

I wish I could say that I was happy with their service. The service rep. was friendly overall. But the service itself took a whopping 2.5 hrs. And guess what type of service they had to do….. tire rotation. Now I know that a tire rotation doesn’t take more than 15 mins as I have performed it on my own when I was in my auto class in school. There were 3 customers before me for service so I assumed it would take them about 45 mins before I can get my car. My appointment was at 7:45 am and I arrived 5 mins early to take care of any paperwork. 2.5 hrs later, they hand me the bill which I will pay in full. I wish they had provided some explanation as to why it took them this long. Now I know that some may try to dispute this but I am also attaching a copy of my bill with time in and out for the car as a proof. No wonder I was able to find appointment on Saturday when I try to book on Friday.. I think lot of the customers know that they would have to wait very long for simpleServices. Next time I’d make sure that I book appointment week early…..at some other Toyota dealer.
