Excellent quality. The most beautiful produce section I have ever seen, with fresh fish, sausages made in-house, amazing bakery, large deli, and an impressive wine department. Dont miss the cabinet of aged meats!

Of all the rouses markets, this is the best one. But still not worth more than 3 stars. If you ever get an Aldi or Trader Joes down here, better up your game. Their selection of fresh produce and food in general is much better. Sadly judging from these supermarkets, drinking seems to take precedence in this town. It reminds me of my childhood when we lived off of TV dinners, refried chicken and whole milk.

Good selection but pricey.they dont update the cigar options. Dont order what you want either. My gf has made many requests and its fallen on deaf ears.

Store was clean and well lite. Went to pick up a cake. Bakery attendant wasnt very nice, I was intruping her because I had a order to pick up. Cake was over $25 (it was beautiful n delicious). Bakery attendant should know her customers is how she gets paid.

Love Rouses! Everything is always fresh here. Some things big box competitors have cheaper but for cold cuts, fruits and vegetables this is your spot. This location also has a hot bar for lunches.

The Epicurean Market always has a huge selection, the store is clean and tidy. However, the prices keep going up and still selection of items I cant afford to buy keeps getting smaller. they are cutting back on the Pick 5 selection to make room for holiday choices. Rouses is the only place I could afford to buy fresh meat. Now, on a limited budget, I cant afford to do that anymore.

Samuel service was excellent Reg#6, but Buggy boys, did not assist any Women who was trying to get out the rain,with buggies of food,, I was one of them,I had to interrupt there busy conversation to asked the Blonde headed guy who continue to sat on top of the empty buggies to Watch my basket as I ran to get my Truck,Smh,, still after Getting my truck, Him and the other guy continue on with there conversation,,So I put my Own Groceries inside my Truck smh,,So a 5 for Samuel and 0 for those Buggies boys

For starters any company who pays senior employees minimum wage and demand they supervise new hires making 2-3 mores and fire you for asking for a raise unless you went to prep school. And all family members get free checks. None of them work of follow company policy. In fact they will change rules to allow family members to do anything they want.

I have to push a stroller/wheelchair when I shop. Rouses has the smaller carts that I can pull behind me while I push the stroller. The aisles are spacious and that is a requirement for us. The staff always has a smile and the baggers offer to help me take my groceries to my vehicle so i can maneuver the wheelchair. I am loyal to this store.

Epicurian market has a wide variety of everyday needs. Excellent place to grab something ready to eat, or ingredients for home cooked meals. Several locations in town and across the Gulf coast. Great selection of beer, wines, and liquor. Fresh seafood can be found, along with an extensive butcher shop. I live within a mile of the St. Charles Street location in Houma, and enjoy the convience of having a great market close by.

Rouses Market is a local favorite. They have a great variety of products and are open to requests for specialty items. They work hard to keep their stores neat and service polite. Seafood is a specialty. They have a good variety of fresh and frozen fish and shrimp, and during crawfish season they offer raw and cooked. The bakery shop is especially good with a big variety for a local supermarket. Gentilly cakes are our favorite, but theyre all good.
