Great store for carpet and tile. I got carpet installed for a stairway and the installer, Richard, did a great high quality job, very tight and neat. Also got some of the scrap bound for an area rug at the top landing. Ryan helped me choose and order tile for my master bathroom. He was available to me and responded to questions by email even when he was not working. Will definitely be back when I re-carpet the rest of the house.2/25/21 update: I just had more carpet from this store installed in my bedrooms and pantry and stairs. It is just lovely. Staci was very helpful in helping select the look and quality of carpet I wanted; and the installation team was great. Everything is neat and tight and they left the place clean. Very good experience.

A friend of mine recently went carpet shopping at this store with the intent of making a large purchase that day for her new home. She asked the older female sales associate what she was looking for, and the sales associate refused to acknowledge her request and repeatedly told her that what she wanted was too expensive and dismissed all of her questions. This associate acted highly unprofessional and profiled my friend based on what she thought she could afford. This is absolutely unacceptable, DISGUSTING behavior from this company and I will make sure that we never give this place any money whatsoever.

Believe me when I say we shopped around for carpet! We visited four other places (big box & independent stores) and got quotes on carpet that we were so-so about. Carpet Exchange had such a better selection and were willing to answer all our questions. We let them know our budget and they showed us what was in our price range and are color and texture preferences. We worked with Andrew and Julie and had a great experience from the selecting of the carpet to the install. I purchased a granite kitchen counter here and I will absolutely never give this business another cent.During the initial conversation about the install I mentioned that I needed a sink which is no more than 8 deep. I was assured that would not be an issue. Since the price was about $300 less than a competitor, and the extra week or two of wait time didnt seem like it would be an issue due to other contractors working on the property having a similar completion date, I went with Carpet Exchange.Huge mistake.They left a terrible mess of epoxy on the tile floor, they left granite chunks in the cabinets and did zero cleaning up after themselves, and they installed a sink that was obviously too deep, and is difficult to match up with another similarly sized, but not as deep, unit. Beyond that, the seams are not great and the backsplash was not caulked. When I called to inquire about having a shallower sink installed I was told to get a plumber.... which is a preposterous solution. Changing the height of the existing plumbing in the walls would require removing the cabinetry, and the counter, and would add thousands of dollars and several days to the schedule, whereas replacing the sink takes 20 minutes and a new sink.I told them that if they wouldnt replace the sink, I would like to return it as I have zero use for it, it doesnt match what I requested, and it was ultimately their mistake... and I was told I dont know why we would take the sink back, we would have no use for it.Totally unacceptable, totally unprofessional. Avoid these people. I had to custom order a sink which wiped out the savings, and it took two more weeks for the kitchen to be serviceable, time in which I was unable to rent that unit out. Overall, trying to save $300 with these chuckle****s cost me almost 2 grand, not including time spent cleaning up their mess.Again. Never go here. You are better off hiring a meth addict off craigslist. At least they will have fewer obviously fake reviews written by employees trying to make themselves look good.UPDATE: They said they would be in contact with me in the reply below... 4 days passing since the reply determined that was a lie. Unless they were planning on getting a hold of me a month later, which is how long it took for the counter to get installed after paying for it.

We needed Carpet in a pinch! The place we had it orded failed to inform us it was backorded two months, and we needed carpet to movie into our new house immediatly. Stopped in and Julie was awesome walked us though the carpet and acctually explained what the differences were. Julie was also able to get us on schedule of an Installation within 2 Days.Im not one to leave reveiws but i highly recommend Julie Ziegler and Carpet exchange for anyone who is Hesitant.

The shopping and selection process for our flooring was very easy and pleasant. Andrew listened to what we wanted and selected several samples to show us to narrow down our search, which we appreciated. The luxury vinyl planking that we selected is absolutely beautiful in our home and we could not be more pleased. The after purchase experience was the reason for the 4 star rating, instead of 5. We returned 2 boxes of materials and it took several days and 4 phone calls to finally get the credit put back on our credit card.

Visited Carpet Exchange to try to get pricing to replace carpet in our home. Already having an idea of the square footage I asked for a range of cost per square foot, high end low end, the sales person was VERY elusive and gave me ZERO useful information. She kept saying “about” this much and “about” this much more.My wife and left disappointed and feeling as though we were met with incompetence and/or dishonesty we bought carpet from Lowe’s.I would not recommend Carpet Exchange!

We worked with Dan Grassmeyer and he was excellent. He put up with or need to see multiple samples and he was the one to actually research and find a product and color that he thought would work given what we had discussed. The picked out something that was perfect. We had an issue with the accuracy of the measurement and needed more carpet. However Dan and Carpet Exchange Thornton was right on it and made everything good. I would highly recommend working with Dan at the Thornton Carpet Exchange.

We are so pleased and were happy that we went with Carpet Exchange instead of Home Depot or Lowes, which we were going to go with in the first place.

Had new laminate floors completed yesterday. The installers were highly skilled and extremely accommodating over the 3 day process. Paid in full for 6000 sf of flooring in our commercial property, that’s their policy, the flooring is beautiful! The flooring is now coming apart in places and we have been trying for the last 4 months to get them to repair it! Still haven’t gotten an answer and the floor keeps getting worse. They have been horrible about addressing our issues. We even work with the Manager for our sales, install and repairs, nothing seems to matter.

Prices are pretty reasonable and options are endless. If youre questioning what floor to go with or even just have questions about the floor youve chosen, this is the place to go. Hands down the cheapest prices of the well-known brand, COREtec. If you have any problems whatsoever, ask for Joe Ulibarri. Hes the general sales manager and he will make sure youre happy with your experience.

They installed floors in our basement that were clearly not level. The floors would sink in a little as you walked. The manager came out to check them out and somewhat agreed but made me feel OCD. Saying that “these kinds of floors do that if installed on a cement base”My reply to her was: “as a customer my expectation is to have floors that don’t wobble so your installers should have done the RIGHT job. I would have paid extra to have the job done right.”They sent an expert out to look and they agreed with me that the floors needed leveled.Never heard from them again. Despite telling them I’d pay whatever it takes to just fix the floors!

DO NOT have your hard surface flooring installed from here! The installers have no idea how to inspect and prep a sub-floor prior to installation. Once I saw how a professional installer does their job, it was clear to me why the floors I had installed by Carpet Exchange were unsatisfactory. You get what you pay for here, it is worth it to have competent installers do the work.

Kaitlyn Bartlet was more than helpful in getting us the exact carpet we were looking for in the extremely short amount of time we needed it to get a house on the market quickly. Carpet was installed quickly by a friendly professional who left us completely satisfied with absolutely no clean up needed on our part. Very satisfied with our experience at the Thornton location.

They were great to work with through the quoting process, and the prices were very reasonable. However, we were replacing water-damaged carpet in a bedroom of a rental property and the installer did not replace the carpet in the closet, so we now have two different carpets in the room. When I called the office to discuss, I was told that the closet was not included in the measure. I asked if this was typical, and was told no, it is not typical, but that my tenant should have specifically told the guy who measured the room to include the closet. When I checked with my tenant, she told me the guy measuring specifically asked her if the closet was to be included, which she requested. Im not sure where the communication breakdown occurred between their employees, but am not impressed that their default response was to blame the buyer.

Everytime we buy carpet or any flooring from this place we have issues. Like no phone calls to tell us our carpet or flooring is in or Tell us they cant locate our purchase. Dont t like how the day only one person can help you and no on else can and why does the warehouse guy only work till 5 but the store is open till 8pm. Terrible place wont be shopping there again.

Our experience with this Carpet Exchange was positive. Salesman Todd Havens was very professional and responsive to all our questions. He made us feel comfortable taking our time in our flooring decisions which I appreciate. The atmosphere in this Carpet Exchange was relaxing. There really was no pressure. We had a little over 700 sqft of luxury vinyl installed and it came out great. The installers they used for our house were also professional and quick. My wife and I researched numerous flooring business for over six months and we decided on Carpet Exchange.As an update - we have had some issues with a specific section of our flooring. Store manager Andrew Fedje has been extremely helpful to get technicians out there and not charging us for labor. I am very impressed with this stores customer service.

They told me that the carpet would be delivered in a few days. It took 2 weeks. The carpet install went fine except for a seam on the stairs. The man that measured allowed enough carpet so that would not happen. Well it did and I will not recommend this company or use them in the future. Not unless they will correct this problem.

Sales staff was okay. Appointment made to measure house for carpet. Sarah said told us she would email us final yardage needed last Sunday but am still waiting to hear from her. What next? It would seem sales arent a priority.

STOP! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. Terrible experience after I purchased 1100 square feet of flooring. I was told install would be Thursday and Friday initially and when that did not happen I had to delay new furniture and appliance deliveries as well as movers to my new residence in Thornton. After seeing only 150 square feet installed Saturday went to store very upset to see Barbara who sold me floor and Andrew the Store Manager. Needless to say with them having over $10,000 of my money with flooring not done as promised I was very upset. Told Andrew floor not being done as promised was totally unacceptable, and that it needed to be done over the weekend. To the installers credit I did go back in Sunday and more flooring was done. I have to go today, MONDAY, to see if flooring is done as all appliances, furniture deliveries and movers have been rescheduled for this week. I HAVE NOT BEEN CALLED BY ANYONE LATE SATURDAY OR SUNDAY FOR UPDATES. I HAVE TO DRIVE FROM DENVER TO THORNTON TO SEE IF ANYTHING MORE IS DONE!! So my recommendation is that you run dont walk in the opposite direction so you dont have to contemplate a legal action in order to get what you paid for. If you want a delayed installation, delayed move, feelings of being ripped off, mistruths regarding your new floor then shop here. Otherwise, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!! Nancy McWilliams
