After dealing with many other tire shops over the years, from locals to large chains, I have to say Big Brand is the best. Honest, fair, and great service. Only place Ill take my cars from now on.

Recommended by my mechanic as the “go to” place for tires and told to ask for Juan. Needed basic tires for my daughter’s older car for local driving and was getting quotes in the high $700s to $1000 for premium tires. Spoke to Juan at 12:30 pm, got 3:00 appt, out the door by 4! $422.17 total and they ride sublime!

Ive been to numerous Big Brand locations over the last 20 years with 4 different vehicles. They have always been amazing. UNBELIEVABLE ! I went in on a last minute flat (they advertise free flat fixed)@4:00pm Friday. Clearly an emergency situation . I was told Id have to leave the car. .an hour and a half wait. Then, a tech came out & told me the torea were cracked & old (untrue), that the tires need to be replaced & they could not just fix the flat. I would gave to buy 1,2 or 4 tires. I didnt need an UPSELL, I needed a free flat fix, as advertised. I was near my home, and didnt want to take a chance. I see this was their moment to bamboozle a female. I barely got them to put some air in the tires to make it over to my regular mechanic. .who btw confirmed that I had a nail in the tire and didnt need a new tire or 2, 4 new tires! GREATLY disappointed in this place.

Big Brand Tire & Service answers the question “How can you possibly mess up an oil change?”How do you botch an oil change?1) I had to fight to get them to honor the oil change price they advertised.2) Mechanic stated alignment was off on all 4 tires…when I had them aligned only 3 months prior. While it’s possible the tires became misaligned in that time, it is FAR more likely that an alignment shop was UPSELLING an unnecessary service.3) They did NOT check nor top off the tire pressure or fluids. (I knew they were low going in…I wanted to test them). It’s also very unlikely they performed the tire rotation their coupon stated they would do.4) They did not channel the draining oil; causing the oil to flow over and on top of the car’s undercarriage/engine splash shield. It was dripping old oil in my garage and driveway for months.5) They CRACKED my LOWER RADIATOR DRAIN PLUG (looks like a large plastic butterfly nut)…probably when yanking out the old oil filter across from it. This caused a slow and unnoticeable coolant leak. (The dripping old oil described above masked the dripping coolant). Only when driving on the 101 up the Conejo grade and the with a red-lining water temp needle did the problem become apparent. Luckily I was able to diagnose the issue and replace only the drain plug and refill the coolant rather than pay for an entire new radiator.Avoid them at all costs. I don’t care how cheap they advertise their oil changes.

Worst experience at a tire shop in my life. Ill try to keep this short. Ordered $1700 worth of tires and made a first-thing in the morning appointment for a week later. Got there at 7:45 for an 8:30 appointment. First person there just after 8 told me they changed their hours and didnt open until 9:00. Left the truck for four tires and an alignment. I warned them that they will probably need to replace the pitman and idler arm as it has been a while. Got a call at about 1:00 saying they received the parts and it would be done soon. Call about 3:00 and they said it would be done by the end of the day (they close at 5:00). I arrive at 4:30, truck is in the air, nobody is working on it, pitman and idler arms hadnt been replaced yet. Counter staff is nothing but rude and make it seem like I am inconveniencing them asking about my truck. I end up walking circles around the parking lot for the next FOUR HOURS. Yes, until 8:30 at night when they tell me I should call for a ride because they wont be able to finish my truck that night. They claim problems with the Pitman arm yet last time it was replaced it was the Big Brand in Camarillo and the time before that it was California Tire down the street. I picked my truck up at about noon the following day with no new pitman arm and a promise the alignment was perfect. It is not perfect. The truck changes lanes on the freeway in about 3-4 seconds from letting go of the wheel. Did I mention I have a lot of automotive experience including being a mechanic quite a while ago and the guys in the shop were feeding me all sorts of BS about what was going on. I need another alignment but I will never go back to this shop. I regret everything about my $2000 purchase and visit.

I went today to get new tires on my car. Jessie made it quick and easy to get me new tires on my car that day. I waited about two hours and got a great deal. I trust this store to do work on my car. Whether I buy the tires there or bring in my own for installation, it’s always a good experience. My car is very sensitive to any kind of tire imbalance, but Big Brand Tire gets it right every time. Simple tire replacement and alignment- I have no idea where that curb came from. Regardless, Jesse was very thorough in finding a replacement tire and putting back on the road. Downside is the phone is touted to a central number. Communion is quite difficult. This drops my overall rating.

I been bringing all our cars for several years. Staff is ALWAYS courteous, helpfull and prices are fair.

I made an appointment to get my two front tires replaced on my vehicle, I arrived a bit early drop off my car and they told me it should be ready within an hour. I showed up 2 hours later to pick up my car and they were just driving into the shop to start working on my vehicle . Two hours later, when it should have been done an hour earlier. I think customer service and respect for your time is not that important to this place.

Big Brand Tire got a great selection of tires and rims. Rebates and coupons bring the prices to the level below what you get at the known price club. I bring three of our family cars here for oil changes, brake and suspension jobs . Service is quick and professional . Young guys at the counter are courteous and always willing to help.

Phenomenal service every time. The staff are exceptionally courteous. Im certainly no mechanic, but I am very proactive about keeping my car in good condition. I used to take my car to Jiffy Lube for oil changes and such, but now I do all my regular service (tire rotation, brakes, transmission service, oil change) at Big Brand Tire. The staff have great integrity as well- they dont try to upsell anything outrageous. They just give the customer the facts and let them make the decisions about their vehicle.

Been getting tires from Big Brand for 10 years. So I knew they were great for tires, flats, alignments. Today I went to the dealer for a brake quote. $674. I went to big brand, $200. Further affirmation that this place is the best.

I found a screw in my spare tire and I was in a massive hurry, Greg and Armani got the tire patched up extremely fast and I was back on the road in 10 minutes!

Badly chipped/scratched wheel rim and swapped my nice dust caps to plastic green ones. Was my go to place. Not any more.

The staff is nice and really helpful. Their prices can be a little high sometimes though and I still have a hard time trusting them after my Crown Vic died faster thanks to break repairs gone bad about 5 years ago.

Went to get a front end alignment they adjusted the toe and tried to tell me there is no adjustment on the strut on my Acura integra. I laughed because the strut mount has nothing to do with alignment on double wishbone suspension which is standard on all Honda manufactured cars and yes I have adjustable upper control arms but they popped the hood to try and look lol dont go here they dont know cars I would have been better measuring it out in my drive way. dont go to someone who doesnt care enough to know what their doing

Really irritated-what was supposed to be a specific local support purchase ended up being a significant waste of personal time, and thus money. To be clear, the staff there at this location was very professional and helpful, the issue centered around the disconnect with the Big Brand corporate call center, where I called to make my appointment.I work in NoHo, and can throw a rock at 2 different major tire stores, (Americas Tire/Mountainview Tire), as well as a whole host of smaller independent tire shops. The Smart money would have been to just keep it simple and take my 2 vehicles worth of tire needs to one of these at lunch. Instead, I choose to support local and go out of my way and leave work early AFTER calling the Big Brand appointment line and confirming that all of my tire needs were scheduled at 4pm, and would take 45 minutes. Upon showing up, I was informed that they had been overbooked, and would do what they could to accommodate. The staff there were very polite, and tried to make the best of a bad situation to get through all the customers, so I recognize its not their fault. When all was said and done, I walked out of there just North of 6:15pmWhat I am not stoked about is that leaving work early cost me money, and my time spent there was tripled. While I always want to try and buy local to where I live and support our local economy, an experience like this makes it hard to justify Rolling the dice again. Whats the point of making an appointment when it made ZERO difference, especially when theres the additional time waste of looking up their number and making the call and scheduling it all beforehand?!To top it off, 4 of the new tires we bought went on rims that were brought in without tires, but we still paid 4 tire disposal fees. At that point, it was past closing time, and after the 2+ hours I spent, (Wasted) there, I was over it, time is money and I just wanted to get on with the rest of my now limited evening.Sooooo, in conclusion;#1 I wasted time making an appointment#2 The appointment time was severely overbooked#3 My 45 minute completion time was TRIPLED#4 I overpaid for a service that wasnt even provided#5 I now have to spend even more time providing a reviewWhy is it that in a small, privately held company, my issues werent followed up? Its been several months-more than plenty of time. I want to support and buy locally at Big Brand, but frankly, it would be foolish to do it all over again at this point. I understand that things Happen, I get it, but this whole experience reeked of amateur hour, and the bottom line was that it cost me more in money out of my pocket, as well as valuable personal time. As of right now, my motivation to take a chance again on them or recommend them is pretty low, and thats NOT what Id like it to be. There are half a dozen tire shops in a 10 mile radius from our residence, certainly plenty of other choices...UPDATE- BB corporate reached out after this review, and made the effort to help make things right. Worked things out, though its not clear if their scheduling service dept has been improved. Nonetheless, will still be going there to do business, the core group of guys there are still solid.

They have gone downhill, customer for over 25 yrs, never going back again, rotate tires and leave them under inflated, last rotation and brake check everything is fine, next service i need new rotars! that expense should be on them, they blew the inspection.They are not training their techs correctly and it shows.
