I’ve been going regularly for almost 2 years to see Julia for an eyebrow wax. She is fantastic and very talented. This is why I keep coming back. She’s very knowledgeable about her craft as well as Ulta products throughout the store. Julia was a life saver after COVID-19 quarantine and saved the mess I made of my brows.

Customer service is poor. Blonde woman asked me to move while I was checking out so she can open up a register. Im not an employee she can boss around. I would have stepped aside if she just called up whoever was next in line.

I was helped by two lovely employess, Annie and Ava of the Thousand Oaks Ulta location. Not only did these two women listen and comfort my concerns, they completely helped all of the issues I was having and more. I left the store that day completely satisfied and my faith restored in customer service. Ulta is very lucky to have these two employees as they are an asset to any company/business.

I have been shopping here since it first opened and it was amazing till I shopped here a couple weeks ago and wanted to dye my hair, I had no one greet me at the door and no one ask me if I needed some help I saw them ask other costumers if they needed help but never did they ask me I feel like they where discriminating me even though I have shopped here since it first opened they also seem like newer people from the last time I shopped. I asked a staff for a certain color of hair dye and she said that whatever they had on their shelves is what they had left, they didn’t even bother looking for it in the back and it was pretty upsetting because a couple of minutes later another staff came by with a cart full of hair dye And guess what? there it was! The hair color I was looking for there was two bottles. Disappointing I should have Gotten it somewhere else but I had a tight schedule that day. And I would have wrote that staffs name if I remembered it but I might go soon to find out the name because that’s not how costumer service works. Also I understand the COVID 19 situation but if I saw them ask everyone else if they needed help and not me and also not even bother to look in the back for a simple hair dye then it was most definitely discrimination.

When I go shopping, I know what I want and I ask for it first, then shop around. Cassandra helped me asap! Got me what I wanted at the right dollar amt and suggested different brands to choose from. She was awesome! 2 thumbs up for her!

This girls are awesome, I came in here to buy my daughter some makeup she had been bugging me for and I had no idea what I was looking for. These girls walked with me and help me figure out what she needed, they gave me many options and advice. Great place!

Love ulta beauty. The makeup artists there are very helpful and they have a great selection of products with different brands and pricing. I go everytime i need makeup or hair needs.

My husband wanted to purchase the Gingerbread eyeshadow palette as a Christmas gift for me. Not knowing its popularity, he was told that they were sold out in the store but can purchase it online. The sales associate helped him order it online and assured him he will get it on time. Two weeks later, the package came but to his surprise it was an entirely different palette. So, he took it to the store and explained his dilemma. The girl at the counter simply refunded his money and dismissed him as if that was all he needed. Dumbfounded, he mentioned that he still very much wanted to purchase the original palette he was promised he would receive. Unfortunately they ended up telling him that the palette was no longer available and was sold out EVERYWHERE. What the heck?! What a waste of time that was. And did they apologize to him? No. Did they offer assistance for anything else so he can leave satisfied? NO. He was basically sh** out of luck. SO RUDE! My husband never does anything like that for me and it was heartwrenching to see him so down and frustrated from his experience. Thanks a lot Ulta :(

I love Ulta! Everyone is so friendly and they know exactly what you need. I go into Ulta way too often and spend way to much money, but I am always satisfied with my purchase when I leave.

This Janss Mall location is so much better than The Collection location: cleaner, brighter, more helpful staff and well-stocked inventory. Was immediately asked if I needed any help and they had all the colors of my brand I was looking for.

I recently sent an email to Ulta Corporate to complain about their policy of putting time change exclusion in their expiration date on the coupons they send to you. Since I live in California I was recently shut out of Ultas $10 Off $40 that had a CT (Central Time) as part of the date of expiration, which resulted in my being unable to use it. In all my years of Online Shopping with retail and online stores that also have their corporate offices in other states, (Ultas is in Illinois) I never had the need to worry about the time zone on any of the coupons. I feel that as consumers in California we are being made to feel not as important to the Ulta Corporation as customers in other states are. Ulta needs to step up, be fair and include all 50 states in their promotions. Until then I am unsubscribing!

My first time here. No greeting when we walked in & was there 45 minutes before someone had bothered to come ask if we could be helped. Then when asking for help, no one had the answers & I felt like I was putting the girl out when I had a question. Sephora doesnt treat me like that, not even once in 2 years. The girls here at Ulta didnt want to be bothered. Cashier didnt even want to add my email. Wont be back there anytime soon!

I love this particular store and will often go in and straight look for the Lancome specialist ... she is all knowing in many brands and happy to share her knowledge. I love I can get a totally frank answer from her and while she specializing in Lancome, she will truly help you find the best for your particular skin needs. I will try to remember to edit with her name next time I go... :)

Rude workers and lied about the service at the Mac Coutner and overcharged me for the service and never told me it was 35 for the in store makeover service. Sadly, I won’t be going back.

No greeting upon entering the store, which I know is customary. One sales associate approached me and saud youre good, right. I found that to be unprofessional, off putting, and INCORRECT! I had a laundry list of items that I needed but will drive to another location instead. Very disappointing experience

Their sales people always know exactly how to answer any of my questions, are super attentive, and make great recommendations about products they actually use! It makes a difference when its something theyre really using all the time and they know tricks on applying and what works well with it.
