Always clean and nice employees. Almost always has what we go there for. Good prices. Good place to go when we dont want to go to costco

Low quality vegetables and meat for more than double what other stores sell the same thing for and they keep saying ( written next to prices “ real saving without membership card”. I consider this as misleading advertising. Today I bought a bag of carrots and when I opened it at home the carrots s were brown black rotten. I went back and returned the bag . I advise customers to compare prices with other stores and you will discover tat SMART And final is a not what they advertise. I took photos and carrots and return receipt. Does anyone know how to post them ???

I always like shopping here. The store is clean and the staff is helpful. Someone thought it through and organized it very well so its effortless to find what you need. Be prepared to shop in bulk to enjoy your savings. You will find every day necessities.

I can find many items at low prices. The staff are nice, too.

I went to the Newbury Park location yesterday with my young daughter. We did not have masks but are completely healthy and just need a couple of food items. I had the items in my hand and was at the checkout line when a manager confronted us and stated that we are NOT allowed to buy anything because we were not wearing masks. I said that I do not wear masks as I have a phobia about them from my military history. He then instructed the cashiers to refuse to ring up my items. He called the police to have me removed. I stood patiently at the one register and stated that I was not leaving until I was allowed to pay for my food. The employee said that it was no big deal and he would do so except the manager was a big problem for them. The manager came to me and attempted to forcibly remove the items from my hands. I resisted and he pushed me back with one hand while pulling away the items. He threw the items and damaged them. I later have been advised that since I am a senior citizen that is legally considered assault with jail time for him should I report it further. I asked him for his name and he turned his back to me. I asked to see his nametag and he took it off and put it in his pocket. I took photos of him with my phone. From the glimpse that I saw it looks like his name was David.The police arrived shortly and were very pleasant. The main officer advised that the store is claiming to be a private operation and not selling to the general public. He advised me to sue them civilly. The were in violation of discrimination of me based on the the way I was dressed and/or my appearance. They posted a sign saying to that effect. There is NO law requiring any mask to worn. I asked if They had a sign posted saying No Mexicans would that make it acceptable to discriminate against them also? We went to Ralphs and the Vons afterward from there. All that we encountered was a much cleaner and well lit store with very friendly people and no criticisms at all. The manager at the very least should be fired. He has no business dealing with the public. I have never sued anyone but this may be the first time if nothing is done about him.

Convenient location near hwy. Not huge selection. Larger size items.bulk. prices are little high but doable if u just need a few things. Not a lot of workers. So youll need to fend for yourself. In a good shopping plaza.

Everyone was professional and safe and everything that I was looking for they had it there is one manger that stood out her name is Lisa very helpful say hi to her if you ever met her and tell her Robert sent you in all I give the staff and store a A+Sincerely Robert

When I went there, I literally stood in line with no one ahead of me while the cashier talked to another patron for about 15 minutes. I like the cheaper process on bulk items, but not happy with the customer service by the cashiers. I felt like I was intruding in her private conversation when I went to check out. Items are standard, name brand items but in bulk and cheaper. Not my favorite place to food shop.

I have been coming here for many years now and it has never let me down. Always has everything that Im looking for and I leave very satisfied. I will continue to come here for as long as I can!

Great store,nice a d clean, staff is great.Mask are required. Please wear your mask so employees can focus on shoppers as they should. Staff works very hard and we appreciate.

I dont normally come here, because I dont buy a lot of stuff in bulk...but, when I do, its good. The only reason I would likely go here and not Ralphs is their selection of IPAs and their better selection of canned grocery items...I have nothing bad to say about it at all. If I did need to buy more stuff in bulk, I would surely go here more often.

Their First Street milk tastes awful! I dont know what they do to it, but I bought a gallon good for 10 more days, and I have to dump it. Its not spoiled, but tastes weird. Kind of like re-constituted powdered milk. I realize these are unprecedented times, but most sale items werent in stock. They just want to lure you in with their ads.

Horrible! The checkout line was literally the length of the store. To their credit when I called this to the attention of the cashier, she immediately called for backup. Monday, around 4p, they just didnt have enough cashiers for check out!

Well stocked supermarket very good prices i got a pork picnic roast for 99 cents a pound!

I was surprised at how much this store became part of our regular shopping experience. I wasnt that impressed with the old store, but this is so much like a super market but with better prices. The quality is right up there, particularly with the produce. I cant give Smart & Final 5 Stars because they replaced a union grocery store where the employees were really part of the community. The folks who work here now are nice enough, but they are the typical listless, underpaid that is the new retail. So if youre one of those who always chooses price and convenience over human relations, this is your place.

This Smart & Final gives me a Safeway/Vons vibe.. which Im not really fond of.😑

Visit was o.k. still out of many items- yeast,hand sanitizer to name a few. Long line for midday Sunday. No employees to find out information. No carts available. Plenty of parking.

I loved shopping at this location. Very well stocked and so clean. Largest of all the Smart and Finals I have ever been to. Expect a wide selection of top notch produce and other groceries

The line at the cashier was at least 10 people deep if not 15. I asked is there someone else that could open up another line, the cashier said they are doing inventory and were looking to save money. I replied sarcastically good customer service. I will never go there again on Wednesday evening immediately after work.

Really good chickens...bigger than Costcos. Good produce too. Not a five because some items are pricey. Also, the only place near me that sells Ramonas burritos which are great.

Good place to get bulk groceries to feed a family for a week. Prices are fair. Just with the selection was a bit broader. Otherwise, its a great place to shop.

A very well managed store, both on the corporate level, as well as at the location, I go to which is in Newbury Park. CA . I have not really experienced the other locations so I cant speak for them. But as for this location they are fully embracing the new age in which we find are digital world of marketing they will not be left behind.

I bought a Sirloin tip in the bag in the reduced price section of the meat dept on Sunday it had a sell by date for Monday. I opened the bag to start cutting the it up, it stunk to high heaven! I would not put it in my car to return it. I am out $40.00 for that experience. So, if you a on a budget and think you are to save money, dont EVEN think about buying​ meat from their reduced price section of the meat dept. Their experation dates are WAY off, which makes you wonder just how fresh their meat is

I used to only go for bulk stuff but they have the same items as a regular grocery store and at great prices usually so its become a go to for normal grocery trips.Plus no need to bother with club card/membership numbers

Fast-cut check out. I wish They Carried a little bit more. Went for the lemon bars but they were out.

Since they have opened in new location, more variety but always running out on shelves. The shopping in the Accessible path of travel might see them in court...thats a no...no

A creepy employee boxed me in with a train of shopping carts where you grab the carts from before entering the store. I asked him to move the carts so I could go in and shop and he just stood there and starred at me for about 10 seconds before doing so. I complained to the manager she said that she has been getting many complaints about this employee and when she was a manager at Walmart she had problems with him there as well. If this is true why would she hire him again, the person is mentally unstable. Time I called manager 4:45 PM 10/12/2018

I was hurrying to get food for my kids so I could go get meds for my sick wife (literally). The guy in front of me in the 10 items line had a cart full of stuff. I dont mind him - it annoys me when places have rules but dont enforce them. When the guy finally noticed and apologized, the clerk even apologized to him but not to me and complimented the guy on looking like a banker. Ugh. I am not going back.
