The day started out not great (drink spilled all over my bag in the car) and I wasnt looking forward to all the housework to do when I got home. Then I got a flat tire. I sucked it up and put on the spare, then headed over to Discount Tire, whom Ive used in the past. I knew it was about time for a whole new set of tires, and sure enough it was. Patrick was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and even found me a discount on the tires I chose. He also found me a mail-in rebate. Even though the shop closes at 6pm and I brought my car in at 5:15pm, the crew continued to work on my car and it was ready by 6:30pm. Great service, friendly staff, all around great experience.

Ive been to various Discount Tire locations and even an Americas Tire across multiple states and multiple cars. Overall the company is great! Affordable prices and warranty programs that show they stand behind their work and products. Ive had these guys take care of my family so many time. Its why we all keep coming back here. I had a super easy time buying my tires ahead of time online today which I love being able to do now. Set an appointment that was even same day. Came in got taken care of and was back out the door in about 35 to 40 minutes. Had the pleasure of Danny helping me today and he was a great guy. Had no problems with my warped sense of humor either. I also spotted several female employees and not just working the counter but actual Tire Technicians which I love seeing! Definitely a great experience today.

Had an appointment and checked in at their outside tent. Was sent a text with link showing my place in line. Was 2nd and then after 5 min was no longer in line. After about 30 min I got out of my car and someone finally came up and asked if I’ve been helped. They said I needed to be checked in, even though this already happened, and assured me I would be next. Left because I did not have another 30-45 min to waste so be aware… Only good service when you are buying. If changing out tires you will be skipped till you speak up or wave someone down. Never had this problem at other tire places. Probably buying my next set from somewhere else.

Ordered a set of tires but when I arrived for my appointment yesterday, after they had already pulled all my wheels off, they found out they had ordered the wrong size. They told me they had a better pair in stock they could put on and price match so I agreed. Turns out I got a downgrade. After paying I found out they had the correct size of the tires I had originally ordered at the warehouse in town. Displeased with the 4 tires they “upgraded” me too.

I had a tire rotation and balance appointment scheduled today and although they were busier than expected they did a fine job at getting the job done.

I had a flat tire and my wife had a critical doctor’s appointment the next morning. We desperately needed to solve the problem in order to make it to the appointment. I called different places that were open that evening, but they all said they had to prioritize appointments and I would need to drop off the car the next day and they would try to find time between appointments.Then one of my family members heard about my problem and referred me right away to Discount Tire. He was very enthusiastic and said he had a really wonderful experience with them in the past when he was in a desperate situation like mine. He said that not only would they inspect and repair without charge, if the tire did not need to be replaced, but they would even inspect the other tires for us.The next morning, I waited at the store until they opened. There were also other customers there in line with appointments. When they opened, they helped the appointment customers, but they also saw my desperate situation and helped me right away, instead of making me wait indefinitely (like other stores told me).They said exactly what my family member told me: that they would repair the tire for free if it was safe for us, and that they would inspect the other tires for us as well. They were able to repair the tire, but I was worried, so I even asked them if I should replace the tires. They told me no, that the tires were safe, and that I should come back in the spring and they would inspect the tires again at no charge.I was sincerely touched by their service and decided to write this review so that someone in a situation like mine will know that they can find help at Discount Tire, and also wanted to recognize the fabulous business ethics they practice.Four different people helped me today and each of them were highly professional and very courteous and sincere people that helped me like it was their own problem and not just mine. (Only one person, Kevin, had a name tag that I saw. Another person was working at one of the front desks with business cards that said Assistant Manager Keant Pendo, although I am not sure if that was his name. Unfortunately, I don’t know the name of the other two people.) But thanks to all four of them, I was able to make my appointment. Instead of the day turning into a disaster, it turned into a blessing, because of them.

From the moment I checked in with a professional greeting, I was never ignored. Expectations for every step were explained. Execution of those steps done very efficiently. This place is terrible. We bought new tires in anticipation of a 1500 mile trip. We also asked to have the tire sensor replaced. It was going to be $60. We get the vehicle back and they didnt replace the sensor, because they said it was good even though the sensor had been acting up for weeks. Before we get back to the house, the sensor light comes on again. Theres no time to go back to the store because my wifes going on this trip with our 6 kids. She drives 700 miles to her destination to find the center cap has come off as well as a lug nut. She takes it to a local Discount Tire shop where they find another lug nut missing on another wheel. They put on replacement lug nuts (the nuts dont match the rest) and they contact this store in Tigard to order a replacement cap and lug nuts.The Tigard store was supposed to contact us when the lug nuts and center cap arrived. Of course, we get no notifications. I call weeks later to see if theyre in and they are. We try to setup and appt, but he says show up anytime and they can replace the items. We show up less than an hour later, have to talk to 3 different people and then they tell us its a 90 minute wait because we dont have an appt. We reserve our space in line and come back at the agreed upon time. When we get back, it takes them over 20 minutes to get the vehicle inside a bay!!!They finish working on the vehicle and tell me that they replaced the tire sensor, center cap, and lug nuts. I get home, remove the center caps, and find that they only replaced 1 of the 2 lug nuts. No surprise there! This is my 2nd time at this place and it will be surely the last. Theyre great at wasting my time, but putting my familys life at risk is unforgiveable. A fully loaded truck with 7 passengers requires every lug nut to be on every wheel!

I have been a Les Schwab consumer for years. Over the last 4 years my service became very poor. Brakes improperly done and 90 minutes to get my tires rotated WITH an appointment, or being told we are backed up with a 2-3 hour wait without an appointment every time I drove to get something taken care of when I showed up for service.I bought a set of BF Goodrich tires from Discount Tire a few months ago and on Friday I scheduled a rotation over the phone for Monday at 9 AM, I showed up 18 minutes early, at 9:01 they walked up and asked if I would like to drive it into the bay or give them the keys...I decided to drive it in myself and 23 minutes later the balance and rotation was completed. I couldnt have been more pleased and felt compelled to write about my experience.I am sold on Discount Tire and give this location a 12 on a 10 scale. Mondays are one of the busiest days for auto repair...23 minutes in and out; amazing!

Top notch crew hands down.I purchased a full set of new tires for my 2015 Ford Fiesta St on the stock wheels which calls for 205/40R17. I originally purchased Cooper RS3-A with a 36k mile warranty. At aproximately 15k miles the tires were showing wear consistent with manufacturing quality issues. I went back to discount tire where they agreed the issue was a manufacturing defect. They contacted Cooper Tire to request a warranty replacement set. The representative at Cooper (David) claimed that the issue was not due to manufacturing process errors and Cooper would take the tires as a return set but would not guarantee warranty replacement. John the senior assistant manager at Discount tire looked into what they could do for me as that simply wasnt acceptable. He worked with his boss (Bryan) and came up with utilizing the road hazard warranty I purchased through Discount to replace my tires with. This allowed me not only new tires but to select a different brand as Coopers customer service was abysmal. John then researched for another set of tires that would suit my needs and car, ordered the set and scheduled an installation date. If I wouldve gone through Cooper there I wouldve been out of pocket anywhere from $250-540 with the help from John and Bryan at Discount tire I am only out the $60 to purchase a new replacement plan on my new Yokohama tires.A+ customer service for Discount Tire, shout out to John, Bryan and Patrick for keeping one happy customer!

For the second straight time, they did not rotate my tires as requested and agreed upon. Last spring, when I switched from my winter to summer wheel set, I asked that the wheels & tires that had been in the rear be switched to the front. They agreed, but when I got the car back, they had not done that. The exact same thing happened yesterday when I changed back to my winter wheel set. The tires that had been in front are visibly more worn down than the tires in back, so I asked that they be rotated. The sales guy who I talked to when I came in agreed. I showed him the tires and wheels and confirmed that they would be rotated. They were not. How difficult could it be to relate these instructions to the guys in the shop? I will simply take the car to my dealer, who charges for rotation, because its not worth my time to deal with these amateurs.

This place always goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service. The manager, Jeff, always welcomes me with a smile and genuine concern on how he can help. Oliver was a straight up professional, he walked me through the entire process and I even met with several of the techs who were able to help me out with lug locks I had lost the key for. My first time customer of discount tire after the purchase of new pirelli snow tires for our new mini Cooper Clubman. On the front end we saved about $200 on a set of tires compared to several local options. I found the installation professional and very efficient. This last week I swapped the snow tires off and put back on the summer radials. They are very Covid conscious in the check in and check out. The swap out took less than 1 hour. If you havent tried them before I would recommend you at least give them a shot on your next tire purchase.

We were 300 miles from home when we discovered a giant cotter pin in the sidewall of our tire.We called the Tigard Oregon Discount Tires which was 4 minutes away and for $30 ( the cost of the new warranty) they had us back on the road in less than 30 minutes.You can always count on Discount Tires.

Got a 2 inch screw in my left rear tire. Made appointment and they got me in on time fixed the tire showed me the screw and replaced my valve stem and didnt charge me. Very professional crew.

I unfortunately live in my car with my bf right now. I work ft but after losing my job, then apartment during the onslaught of Covid19, I am left with several months of back rent to pay and no where to stay until I do so. I was devastated when my car ran over a screw meaning that my already bald tire needed to be replaced. The guy who inspected the car told us he probably had no used tires in my size. He noticed the blankets and pillows in the car and hurried inside. When he came out he advised that his manager agreed to let us take a new tire for $35. We had little hope to find a used tire at that price but it was all we had. They saved our lives. Do not let the name fool you, thinking there is some sacrificing of anything to get you a cheaper price. The quality, pricing and service here are top notch. I have come here numerous times for various reasons and it has always been an incredible experience. Even during this Pandemic they are upbeat, safe and courteous. They work quickly, are very communicative of the process, there are tons of staff there to ensure that you are taken care of. They guide you in and out of the bays, make sure traffic is under control in the lot so everyone is safe. They have the BEST prices in town and even beat internet prices like Tire Rack. Even when the service is done and the crew that work on your car remember your name and thank you as you are pulling out. The BEST hands down.

Horrible experience with manager Bryan Johnson. Came in for a simple balance & rotation. His personal measurements made my tires look like they were unsafe and needed to be replaced, which he suggested was due to camber being off, as his measurements indicated my tires wore 5/32 in 5,000 miles of travel. I would have called him out as I have a few years experience as an auto mechanic in my youth, but since hes a manger, who would I complain to? So I let him give me his speech and then told him Im confident that my tires were safe for my upcoming 1,000 mile trip the following week, which he was taken back by that comment. I left and purchased a tire tread depth gauge and confirmed that his measurements were incorrect. His measurements he recorded(photo below) were off by 5/32 from mine, the same 5/32 depth that he was saying was lost in 5,000 miles of travel since last balance & rotation, suggesting camber issue. I then headed to another Discount the same day and this employee accurately measured my tread depth and confirmed Bryan Johnsons measurements to be absurdly incorrect. That store balanced & rotated my tires. I guess Bryan Johnson wanted a sale that day, or how else did my tread depth get incorrectly measured? Ive had nothing but good experiences from Discount around the US, as I travel a lot. Avoid this store and manager Bryan Johnson!

Best deal ever! I shopped online for great tires and good price. I drive A LOT, so long warranty is needed. My Uber ride is smooth now. I got 85k warranty, no questions asked exchange deal, and stellar customer service. I scheduled my install online once the tires arrived from the warehouse. I showed up early and the install was extremely smooth! I’d recommend them to anyone serious about tires.

Tigard, Oregon store is AMAZING!! I worked with the manager to get the exact wheels and tires I found online and he answered all my questions. The price was exactly what I expected and the rest of the staff I met were very friendly and went above and beyond. Outstanding experience at this store. Ordered tires on-line and they were shipped to the store within a week for installation. Setup an appointment at 10am for installation. Arrived early (a habit of mine) at 9:30. They were able to get the new tires mounted / balanced / installed by 10:10. The tires were correctly inflated to the recommendation on the door placard. The wheel nuts were not over-torqued with impact wrenches.This is a great store to do business with.

I made an appointment, was met promptly, and the service was carried out quickly. Just perfect.

The parkinglot layout could use some help. I was in for a quick tire pressure fix, and the only reason I wasnt in and out was because of the multiple conflicting signs about what entrance was where. While thats not totally at the employees fault, it is definitely a deterrent for this particular location. There is only one road entrance, and if you miss it, youll find yourself swinging into the lot for a hotel.It did take a little time for the available mechanics to actually come to my car as well, especially when it appeared that they were not busy and there were available mechanics. (Thats not to say they werent busy, its just what it appeared like.) Once a mechanic did come over, he was quick, efficient, and friendly.

When my 2018 Corvette got a nail in the front right run flat tire, I was less than happy. Only 500 miles on the car and I already needed help ASAP. I showed up to Discount Tire and they were packed. They told me it could be 2-3 hours and I shared I had a hard deadline of 2 hours before I needed to leave. They got my car in, patched the tire, and got me out within the 2 hour window! I was very grateful they could patch it as a new tire is $400!!! I was ready to pay $50-60 for the fix and come to find out it was free (what, that never happens) Awesome guys and awesome service. I already buy all my tires here but was overly impressed with this visit.

The did a good job but make sure you go over everything before you leave they didnt air up the tires properly and we could have Blown up on the road it was dangerous they fixed it after we caught the mistake

Great experience - I was very impressed with how quickly they replaced all four of my tires (under 2 hours!). I had done a fair amount of research online and felt totally lost, so I just went into the store and was immediately presented with three different options that aligned with how much I wanted to spend. Shout out to Jeff for his knowledge and making the process of buying tires a breeze! The difference between Discount Tire and the other local tire franchise is night and day. Would buy again!

I came in on a Saturday morning- arguably their busiest time- and was in and out within an hour and a half. Plus, they honored my insurance policy from CA with no questions asked, and gave me a much better price than I was quoted from a competitor. I came all the way from Portland and it was definitely worth the trip. No doubt that Ill be making this same trip next time. I recommend you do the same!

Excellent service. They didnt have my tire in stock buy they ordered it for a next day install. They called me right away when my tire came in. They installed it less than 10 min only 15 min wait of that. They best thing I saw was a women mechanic or tire installer working there. Go ahead girl...do that job! I love seeing that and thank you discount tire for hiring women other than a receptionist.

Was great to be able to buy my tires and book an appointment online to have them put on. With COVID going on, they came up to my car to check in and although they at first didnt realize I had an appointment they corrected it quick. The tire change was also really quick when I got in the bay. Im pretty impressed considering the price and I have just used Les Schwab in the past.
