I highly recommend this bike shop for all of your biking needs! They are very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I always get my bike back on time with exceptional work done.

They have a really nice shop here with friendly staff. Half of the store is dedicated to road bikes on one side and mountain bikes the other (also includes gear you may need). Even has a youth bike section. The back of the store is dedicated to assembly and repairs. That said, this seems more of a shop to go to once you are already an established rider looking to upgrade. With most of the bikes coming at a price tag of $2k+, it isnt the most beginner friendly. There were a few bikes around the $1k range and only one bike under that price range. Dont get me wrong this is a great shop and I will be coming back once Im more experienced and looking to upgrade.

Cascade bikes is amazing! Over the years the small independent bike shops have disappeared (with that those super knowledgeable bike mechanics) and have been replaced by the chain bike shops. I have had to have repairs, overhauls etc done on my 2 bikes over the years and many times the service has been less than adequate. I discovered cascade bikes when I had a flat tire on a Sunday (I know I should fix my own flats!)-and it was the only shop open in my neighborhood. They fixed the flat and found other issues with my bike (it had just been in a shop). Recently the shifter on my 2009 Cervelo broke. I was back there again and I guess the gearing system has changed since 2009-Matt at the shop called multiple places to get a part that is no longer made->we got it and for some reason it didnt work so again he searched for something that would work->it did. The bottom line is: he spent a lot of time on the phone, on the computer not to mention energy in an effort to fix my problem. He saved me over $500 to change the entire gearing system.All my experiences in that shop have been just as wonderful (every person there is knowledgeable and helpful!). You cant go wrong with them! I called yesterday and asked if they work on ebikes and what their wait time is, and was told I could get in for minor stuff the same day, but if it needed more work, they’d schedule that service 1 to 2 weeks out. That seems fair and flexible.Loaded up my bike into the car (it’s about 50 lbs and folds awkwardly) and brought it in. After struggling to get it in the front door (not ADA accessible) the tech told me they can’t work on my ebike because they don’t have the software to do it justice.He was incredibly sweet about it and helped me load it back into my car. He also told me where I might be able to get service elsewhere.Would’ve been more stars had they actually given me accurate information when I called. Apparently they can sell ebikes but not work on them or not on my brand?

Had them look at my bike because it wasnt shifting right and thought it would need a tune up. They went through the bike and got it shifting good and looked at the brakes. They didnt charge me and were SUPER helpful! Will go back for all my bike needs

Great place very nice people, Also If nobody is walking over to help you, Then just ask one of the employees there for help and they will assist you. They have tons of electric bikes and Mountain bikes. And from what I saw last they had 4 BMX bikes all FITBIKES and they also have a vast selection of Kids bikes. Although I dont think they have push bikes for really young people. But overall a great place to buy a bike, And Very nice people.

After a huge let down from the bike gallery, Cascade Bikes was a big relief. These guys are super friendly, answering phone calls and going out of their way to make sure to take care of their customers.While bike gallery wouldn’t answer phones, had a two hour wait outside (largely due to service customers), cascade bikes stepped up to help.The first employee I talked to on the phone went in back and told me which kids bikes they had in stock that hadn’t been assembled. I went in to look, but didn’t have my child with me. They were kind enough to bike two different sized kids bikes the next morning so I could bring my kid in and choose the correct bike. Thanks to Kieth for making that happen.In the future, Cascade Bikes will be our first stop. Happy kids, happy dad.

Guy with yellow hair offers to help, mentions that he doesnt ride mtn bikes, is unfamiliar with the product, leaves to ask someone else and then never comes back. Seems short sighted when you are trying to sell $7k bikes..

I recently got the tiniest whole in my tire and I have no idea how or what to do about this. This place was the closest and had good reviews I decided to check it out. Awesome service. Quick, chill, very nice, had the SWEETEST DOG that came to say hello then went back to its bed. Its very nice and clean. I dont know what to expect, but I was expecting this problem to be very expensive but it was not. My bike is my way too and from work so this was a dire need to repair and I will continue to go to this place for any of my future repairs. Thank you!!

I like this shop a lot. Ive taken my 1995 hardtail mtb in twice for service and the staff were friendly and efficient both times.

I purchased a new Giant hybrid bike here a couple of days ago. Steven was really helpful and knowledgeable. They have a solid selection of bikes despite the current shortage and are super accommodating when it comes to adjustments.

Dan is the go-to guy! He is terrific n very knowledgeable.

I needed a bike for the summer season and everywhere I went to around beaverton and tigard were either back ordered until October or not overly helpful. I called cascade and my boy Haze was incredibly thorough and walked me through my first bike. Was in and out in no time ready to ride. We bought a pair of bikes her about 6 months ago and I am very happy we choose Cascade Bikes. Everytime we come back the same sale person is around and checks in on us. They are very helpful, honor their warranties and dont push you to buy things. The bikes we bought match very well with the listed price online and the selection was pretty good considering covid circumstances. I would gladly recommend to anyone with/looking to buy a bike!

I had the best experience shopping at this store. The employees were so friendly and helpful. There was a small line of customers waiting but I never felt rushed shopping. The employee I worked with took his time to help me pick out the perfect bike and answer all my questions. He opened a CO2 kit for me to make sure it would fit on my tires. Employees were checking in with customers and apologizing for the wait and saying they would be right with them. An employee apologized to me for the rocky opening since I was there right when they opened. I had no idea what he was talking about because everything seemed smooth. I will definitely be back to this store and I’m so glad I purchased my bike from them.

Wow, best place to find highest-quality bikes. Lots of shops are low on inventory lately, but Jess and the gang have kept a supply of Kona, Giant, and Specialized bikes coming in. Theyre great riders, all of them, they can answer questions, even helped me understand why my son would NOT want a kickstand (who knew?) ;-)

Would have been nice to get a bit more help rather then the associate walking away from me.

These guys/gals are really helpful. The store is always busy which is the only downside, but after dealing with them you will see why. I came in today expecting to drop my bike off for some minor adjustment but they got it done in about 15 minutes and sent me on my way for less than the over the phone cost quote. Also have been helpful in allowing me to take my time trying on products in their showroom.

Truthfully I wouldn’t give them even one star! If you like feeling invisible and ignored for nearly 15 minutes, then this is the place for you. I went into the store with the intention of purchasing a new bike for my birthday, and spending no more then $700.00. I looked around and found 3 that looked promising. I realized they had a few customers there first. I waited and waited for someone to acknowledge me, but no one ever did. I’ve worked sales for many years myself and I know it only takes a couple seconds to acknowledge a customer and let them know that you will be available to help them as quickly as you can. Although nobody ever did. At one point I was looking at a couple bikes and some guy came up and took one away while I checking it out. That was completely rude and thought that was enough for me. Even though this bike shop is very close to where I live, I will never walk into that store again. I purchased a bike from Bike Gallery the very next day with excellent service!!!

I came in to purchase the mountain bike rear rotor and Cascade out the part for 2 months. An employee, Mr. Daniel, offers to repair it while I shop there. The wait was 10 mins for him to fix it (cost me $10), what a deal. Daniel is really nice and helpful.

I like the staff here. They are helpful and straightforward. It tends to get busy so a little patience goes a long way. They have a good selection of bikes and also a test ring inside. I highly recommend checking them out

Top notch service and top notch people, the only shop in pdx I will go to. The entire team at Cascade is amazing. Not only do they stock some great bikes, accessories and parts but for people like me who demand special orders they go out of their way to make sure you are well taken care of and get the parts you really want and need. Officially my newest favorite bike shop :-) Brought a used bike in to get it checked out and everyone was so friendly and helpful. A very non intimidating experience for a new bike owner.

Last week I took my bike in to have some service done. I knew what needed to be done I just dont own tools to fix it. The bike is only a few months old, i did buy the bike thru a consumer direct company. I called before I went in and asked needed to do. I showed up and they were very busy and the guys working there great, until I dealt with the service tech and manager, I feel as soon as they realized the bike was not bought at a bike shop the attitude changed towards me. They both were argumentative with me treating me like I didnt know anything about bikes, I did push back. But I finally agreed to have them do the work and I had to leave a deposit to hold the time for the service to be done, totally understand bike shops are very busy at this time which is awesome. I had to cancel because I am going out of town. I called in to cancel, the employee who answered was great, I asked if I get refund or in store credit. He had to ask the manager and the manager told me it was non-refundable, I said that is fine but in store credit would be fine. He was rude and eventually gave me a refund which I am thankful for. Again the employees I dealt with were great, the service tech and manager need to learn some customer service.

They have some good gear. Definitely set up for mountain bikes and street bikes. Small area for BMX. Overall a cool spot.

I stood there for only a few minutes when he came back to desk and asked how I can be helped.I showed him the stem from my bike and asked if they had any for sale I can look at?He said not many.He then lectured me on bicycle stems which included In my 15 years of bike serviceHe then refused to show me the few stems they had available saying they would not have what I need.I said have a nice day...I will never go back & will share my experiences. Too bad.

This is my first time going to Cascade and I was really blown away how friendly/welcoming the staff was. I recently bought a road bike to train for the “Reach the beach” century ride this coming October. I have been putting in serious miles on a hybrid and my new road bike was causing me a ton of pain in my lower back since I recently purchased it from someone a bit taller than myself. Upon research, I found that I needed help with sizing.When my 4 year old and I walked in Cam and another gentlemen with longer hair were super friendly and immediately asked what our needs were. The store was fairly busy and the response time was impeccable. Secondly, Danielle looked at my bike and within minutes recommended a stem extender to help with the problem. He threw it on for me in 10 minutes and I even purchased a new awesome saddle. Daniel also put that on for my as well. He never once tried to up sell me on expensive parts or act pushy. He was really friendly and made me feel comfortable since I’m still newish to the biking scene.Its a bit of a commute to go to Cascade for me and I ended up going on a fluke since local stores couldn’t even help me. I called around and actually no one could see me for weeks. Cascade fixed the problem in 10 minutes. The atmosphere was super chill and friendly. A really great place for cycling gear. I highly recommend and will be back.

My girlfriend and I wanted to get started in mtn biking as an alternative for when theres no snow to snowboard on. Cascade Bikes is right down the street from us. This place is great we were helped by Jess, the shops owner, who answered all our questions and suited us with bikes that would get us started. The service was exceptional. Purchased three bikes in the last year from Cascade. I went in just last week after my daughter took a spill and jacked up her front rim and shift levers. They knew we wanted to get back to riding the following weekend and made the repairs while I waited. The guys working repairs are knowledgeable and answered all my questions. They really went above and beyond getting us turned around and out the door. I will be back.

I bent my derailleur putting my back on a rack. Im pretty handy and also pretty cheap. Normally Id fix this sort of thing myself by ordering parts on Amazon or finding used parts and muddling through. Im so glad I found Cascade Bikes! They saved me so much time, money, and frustration! Because the weather is getting nicer, I figured theyd have my bike a couple weeks and try to run up the bill for some standard cleaning and tune-up package requirement like some shops. Instead they did just what I needed done and nothing more. Perfect! They installed a brand new derailleur for $15 less than the one I was looking at on Amazon, straightened the bent hanger (that I didnt even know was bent), and had it done within an hour. After a couple days of riding, I came back in for a tiny adjustment of the limit and they did it in under 5min while I waiting. This was an awesome experience. I highly recommend Cascade Bikes!

The manufacturers website said this shop had the specific bike I was trying to find for my daughters birthday. I emailed them to ask if they actually had that model, color, etc since this shop is a 1/2 hour drive from where we live. They answered We sure do. Come on bySo... when they did not have that model. color, etc and tried the bait and switch, I had to walk. Such a waste of time and gas. Were in the PNW for Petes sake! Its not like there arent a hundred other helpful, honest bike shops a stone throw away. Dont waste your time or money on this one. Im just glad I didnt bring our daughter to be disappointed.

Very very happy with quality of work and the service Cascade bikes provided me! Just had these guys do a ton of service on my YT Capra. Top notch knowledgeable guys. They let me know the key things that had to be fixed as well as the things that may soon need work and the time frame with which I could safely wait to do them. I will continue to take my bikes here for service!

These guys are great. Always had positive experiences going here for my cycling needs.I bought my bike here a couple years ago (when it was under a different name, Santiam Bicycles) simply because it was close to home, and I thought it might be worth it to check it out. Since then Ive taken it in for maintenance work, and have always been pleased with the results. Staff are all helpful without being pushy, which I very much appreciate. Ive always walked out the door feeling better than when I walked in.Very much recommended.

The brakes on my electric fat-tire bike needed adjusting, went to Cascade Bikes without appointment and Mitch did the work in less than 10 minutes. The charge was $15 per brake (total $30). Very satisfied customer!

I’m a newb when it comes to bikes. I’ve been into Cascade Bikes twice now and both gentleman I dealt with were patient and able to answer all my questions, no matter how dumb they may have sounded. And there was no sales pressure. I purchased a pump, tube and pouch for my seat. I cross referenced prices I found online and theirs were super competitive. I’ll be back to Cascade Bikes when I need more gear or a new bike.

This shop is amazing. The employees are super friendly and helpful without being the slightest bit pushy. I so greatly appreciated having the ability to browse their inventory on my own, while also having the guys handy when I had questions. The test area at the side of the shop was FANTASTIC. I was able to actually try out each bike rather than the normal sit and see if its the right height nonsense. There was zero pressure to make any particular purchase and I felt they offered un-biased facts and advice.Also, the dogs name is Pizza and I love him.

My wife and I arent really bike riders. My son has a cheap bike that we bought at toys r us for about $80 and he absolutely rides the tires off of it. We were having some problems with the bike so I took it in. Blaine was so cool with my son, and gave the bike a complete overhaul and charged us almost nothing. This is what small business service is all about. I just cant say enough great things about this place. After looking at the bikes in the store, now my wife and I plan to buy a couple of bikes and an upgrade bike for my son. Those purchases will definately be made at this store.

Steven, a Santiam Bicycle employee, helped me out up on the mountain when I needed a tube and didnt even ask me to pay for it! He just asked me to come check out the store that he worked at. I came in and was impressed with the selection and ended up not only buying the tubes I needed, but I also got a great deal on a new bike! Great experience with those guys.

Got a great kids bike here. Very helpful staff. So great they have a test area to try out the bikes. Ill probably be back to buy a bike for myself.

Cody is professional and resourceful. He tuned up my bike in no time and told me I didnt have to spend to upgrade or replace anything until next year. This seems like a place I’d like to return to if my bike has any issues down the road.

Went in for maintenance on two mtn bikes and they jumped right on them and were done in 10 min!!

I really like this place! I bmx and it is the closest boke shop to where I live so I come down here whenever I need parts or stuff. My only concern is that I did not know they charge for installation so when I got my tube replaced it was $16 and normally tubes are like $5 $6 I was not aware of the huge installation fees

Have a bike the last 6-7 years still in good shape the crank was coming loose crank housing. Never been into Casecade. I was greated. by a nice lady. she went and got her co-worker who works on the bikes . He look at it. told me they crank was stripped and I needed a new one he could not get the crank. off of out of the crank housing he said he did not have the proper wrench. I was willing,to take,a hacksaw and cut it off order new parts. His comment was that the parts and labor are going to be more than the bike is worth I left there bummedI left bumbed. I like to use the bike. For exercising my two dogs.I went,to a competitive new shop Progress Ridge parts and labor was $30. My bike is worth way more than 30 to me. I just dont think he wanted to work on it.. And dont think I have any reason to trust this shop again.I think the other shot being new want to go that extra mile

The first employee I talked to was very nice. It took him a bit to realize just what I was looking for. But he was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable. A couple weeks later .. Came to buy my bike and got a much less friendly employee. He seemed uninterested completely. I felt like a annoyance to him. Not professional and kind of full of himself.

I went in after calling around 20+ stores looking for a specific bike... I called and spoke with Jess and he said he had a bike in the back that was a 2018 Kona Process 143... After he went and checked the color for me, it turns out it was the bike I was looking for all along.. a 2018 Kona Process 153 SE.. and for a bonus, it was 15% off..They were hands down the most knowledgeable and friendliest staff of all the shops I went to. They have my business for life. We actually just purchased another bike for my fiancé and had it delivered there for setup.Thanks again guys for everything!
