I was needing someone to help me make sure my bike wasnt in danger of blowing up and while everyone else around wouldnt even look at it without an appointment, they offered to look at it for free even though they wouldnt have time to work on it. That made a damn good impression on me. They saved me a lot of diag money at the Harley shop for something I was able to handle myself. Ill definitely be by more often. Thanks!

As someone who typically does their own maintenance and repairs (Im a career ASE Master automotive diagnostic and repair tech), I tend to be leary having others touch my machines. I tend to be picky about things being done a certain way, the right way the first time. The only times I dont tackle my own jobs is usually because I either dont own certain pieces of equipment (like tire/wheel service machines), or dont have the personal time to devote to a project that needs to be done sooner than I can complete it. Im hesitant to return to Cycle Life in the future after only two visits, and heres why...Between my girl and I, we have two bikes which I take care both of myself. When it came time to replace the tires on hers, I called Cycle Life for an estimate to mount and balance my own supplied tires, wheels off the bike (I pulled and reinstalled the wheels myself). I paid a couple of bucks extra for them to replace the rubber valve stems with their own stock. I was impressed with the quote and the turnaround time. I did notice however that the front wheel required more weight to balance than it probably should have, likely because the light spot of the tire wasnt indexed to the valve stem... The rear tire on the other hand was indexed properly and required very little weight at all. She hasnt reported any vibration issues yet. I have not brought the front tire work to their attention yet either.Soon after, I discovered that my own bikes rear tire had worn down to the point that the aramid belts were exposed, and the front tire was developing dry rot cracks between the treads. After doing some tire shopping, I called Cycle Life for a labor quote to replace both tires, and was pleasantly surprised to learn that not only was the labor a lot less than I expected, their tire prices were better in this case also. The only thing I had to supply myself was a pair of 90 degree aluminum valve stems, because they were out of them in black and couldnt get them for a few days. As soon as my valve stems arrived, I brought the bike in for the tire work. The front tire they ordered still hadnt shown up, but was enroute, so I gave the new valve stems to the manager, left the bike and got a ride home from a friend. At 5:15 someone from Cycle Life (not the manager, who had already gone home) called to let me know the bike was ready for pickup. I hit up the same friend for a quick ride back to pick up my scoot... and thats when the fun began. They were wrapping up their day to go home in 15 minutes, not much time to bill out. I saw immediately that my hard side bags were never put back on the bike... how do you forget those?? I did see them sitting on the shop floor and pointed them out to the one who closed out my bill. He put them back on while I waited, then I rode home. When I put the bike up to change my engine and primary chain case oils, I noticed that the front wheel still had the original valve stem in it, instead of one of the two aluminum 90 degree ones that I purchased and provided directly to the shop. I also noticed that the drive belt was under adjusted, too loose, and that the valve caps that came with the new valve stems were also no where to be found. I called the following morning after they opened to let them know the situation and that I would be bringing the bike back. Once there, I clarified what was missed and the fact that I really didnt want to be back there for things that shouldve been taken care of the day before. The manager was off for the weekend, I was left to deal with the same person who billed me out the night before. No apology was given, only a Well get you in as soon as we can.End of story is that nothing much more was said, beyond them eventually finding my other valve stem, installing it and returning my extra metal valve caps. The drive belt still was never adjusted properly, so Ill be taking care of that myself also.

I brought in my 1986 Yamaha SRX600 to get 5th gear replaced (a known problem even though the bike was only a single year in production). Not only were they professional but they showed me other things that needed attention, like a terribly worn shift shaft. This was a frame off repair so while they had the engine completely apart, what the hell, go for it. The clutch kit was also replaced at this time. The bike to some isnt worth it but its always been my labor of love/money pit. Yes, it was not a cheap repair but at no time was I in the dark about the cost or what they were doing on the bike. To me, the repair cost was very reasonable. Even the cylinder was cleaned brand new and the carburetors cleaned very thoroughly.I cant say enough good things about this privately owned shop. The owner and mechanics are very experienced. Needless to say, Ill be bringing both of my motorcycle here from now on. Its always great to find a local shop and give the money to people working hard for it. The ride home was nothing but smiles.Kudos guys!

Great guys, Great prices, oh and they were super knowledge able about any question I had! Highly suggested to other (or soon to be) riders! Oh almost forgot to add, they gave me a great estimate on my bike which my insurance company required(around a specific price so i could keep my bike with a salvage title). Anything motorcycle related, these are the guys you wanna meet!

I was just charged $258.29 for an oil change basically. The kids says Im getting a service done on the bike so I told him to itemize the list, he itemizes brake lights, turn signals, Oil Change, Chain Service which he did not do, air filter inspect did not do, spark plug check, air pressure, headlight, brakes and Horn. Thats the itemization and the charge you told me $258. what I got was an oil change an a inspection for $258 instead of a service which would be the flush and change all the fluids tighten the chain if needed etc....Seriously considering small clams court!NEVER GO HERE AGAIN !

Mixed review. First time was good, and they took care of me. Second time they mounted a tire backwards, did not balance it and closed early so I couldnt get it taken care of. So much for getting my bike ready for the Sunday ride. I hate be the first non 5 star review but there it is.

I had a valve blow out heading north on I95. I didnt even know it until we got off at the exit. I was a little freaked out, Friday evening with a loaded limping Honda vtx1300 on my way up to Daytona bike week. After a couple of futile efforts to get help from a couple other shops mark picked up the phone on the first ring. If I could get to him he was happy to squeeze me in. So I limped her a few miles down the road and sure enough he did some juggling in his busy shop and got me back on the road in under 30 minutes. Thanks again Mark.
