I love Dollar Generals! This ones a bit small (aisles are tight) but still great when you just about anything except for fresh produce.

This store is handy when you need some last minute items close by, but I dont make it a habit to shop here often. The store is almost always a mess and they need more people working. The cashier has to be stocking and cleaning when there arent customers, but the layout of the store makes it impossible to see when customers are waiting.

The staff is friendly,the prices are decent.One of my favorite places to shop.

I have worked in customer service all of my life and manage a store of my own. I would NEVER tolerate an employee like Linda! I will be contacting the management tomorrow because this is not the first time I have witnessed her horrendous behavior! I went in to purchase balloons and she told us that she could not blow up balloon past 9 because she had to clean and put milk away! I told her there was no sign that said that and she was raising her voice and stormed off! She then slammed a carriage very loudly and aggressively! Crystal did the balloons for us and I feel bad that she has to work with Linda! I will call management tomorrow about this!

Normal Dollar General. I cannot go there anymore due to their disregard of Covid 19 guidelines. Multiple employees without masks. No social distancing.

The store used to be very neat and organized, but is always messy now. Aisles are crowded or blocked. I asked an employee restocking to pleae pull up her mask which was below her chin. She did so, but only after giving me an unpleasant look. The cashier on the same day, declined to pull up her face mask saying, If you want someone with a mask, Ill have to call the manager, which she did. Unfortunately, the usual manager is on maternity leave. The person who responded had her mask on BELOW her nose. This is breach of customer safety is unacceptable.

They say a dollar, but even the dollar store will sell you the same thing at $1 not $4.25, which is just lower than Wal-Mart or other bigger stores. Dollar General? more like Generally Everything Is Over $4 but it still says dollar. Their name lies more than their prices do, not worth the trip. Get the same thing at Wal-Mart for the same, probably cheaper, than these people.

This place is huge! Super clean! Great prices! Plenty of parking! Handicap accessible! And theres one young man who works there that goes above and beyond to help his customers and always greet them and see them off with a smile! He does it all and does it well!! That young man definitely deserves a raise! Great place!!

I’m sorry but ever since this establishment opened I have had a bad experience 99% of the time I go in. I just went in today and the old woman who is a cashier with the southern accent was completely rude to a customer she was cashing out, both employees that were working were talking negatively about a customer who was on the phone and a customer not wanting her receipt, and the second cashier barely ever opens when multiple people are in line. Terrible customer service skills and On top of that the store is never clean and is barely following cdc guidelines regarding social distancing. There is empty boxes everywhere and overall very unpleasant.

Personnel at the Dollar General in Tiverton refuse to wear masks. It is unhealthy and infuriating.

Omg they had rubbing alcohol. Need some more help with cleaning.

Great for a quick stop, however this Tiverton location has horrible customer service with their two women employees. Extremely great customer service with the two gentlemen that typically work together, they are super kind, helpful and attentive, they definitely deserve a raise, however those two women should be terminated. Those two women are horrendous, lack of knowledge, rude, can’t ring people out, don’t greet you, won’t answer your questions so beware you’ll be in there for an hour to check out one item if they’re working lol!! I literally witnessed the one older women watching a huge line form over a 20 minute span while she flirted with the FedEx driver it was disgusting and five customers just stood there in line waiting forever to check out. She then proceeded to overcharge me for my one item, super great employee!!

Its a good bargain store but I find the name misleading because there are lots of things there that are more than a dollar. They have some pretty decent things there that are definitely cheaper than your average store so its not a bad place to visit. There are lots of name brand things there for about 20-30 percent off the regular price so thats a good deal. There are mostly grocery store products and and only a few dollar store type products. Its more like a convenience store. Its clean and neat which is a plus. I dont go out of my way to go shopping here but when you need something quick its good for that.

I love this location. I live on the other side of Tiverton so I always go to the one on main road which was the first one in town. This new location is larger and way more organized, they offer more products plus its a new building. Its located where the old Ranger Elementary School was, which I attended as a child. I would rather go to this location as it is a nicer store, the employees are all very nice just like the other location, ( at my local Dollar General, I know all of the employees from running there all the time) Dollar General is one ot my favorite dollar stores because they have a wide selection of items, beware not everything is $1.00. I highly recommend this new location, I would rather go to this location based on how well its organized and that they offer more items.

Cleaner store out of the two in Tiverton. This one has an area for backstocj while the other does not. Always great deals if you hse the app!

I have been to both locations in Tiverton Ri and have no complaints. The associates are helpful and Its so convenient.

Shelves are cluttered, often times have to wait awhile for a cashier because theyre off stocking shelves or something.

Its Dollar General, never know what you might find. Remember you get what you pay for. Some things you just cant purchase a discount store.

Staff is rude, boxes of food in the freezers are open and 1/3 of their coolers are broken. Store is incredibly unkept.

Management is just so rude the cAshiers are always pleasant and helpful.
