My interactions here have been mostly good. The pharmacist is knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Some of the pharm tech staff can be a little short. I understand staffing issues, and this location is always busy.
Ill get one star in order to post my review. The customer service at the CVS leaves much to be desired. A female pharmacy tech is very rude. She spent a good 20 minutes chatting with one customer ahead of me in the drive-through, and then didnt seem to want to spend time answering my questions. Ill go to Walgreens from now on.
Great service. Would go again.
I have used this pharmacy for a year and I’ll finally be going elsewhere. On top of always waiting over 2-3 hours for a prescription the service has never been friendly or very helpful. My 1 year old son needed a prescription filled and we waited for over an hour got home and what was supposed to be liquid amoxicillin WAS STILL IN POWDER FORM. Other than a “sorry we’re busy you have to bring it back so we can fill it” I got no explanation and a sorry excuse of an apology. We have to take it back to the pharmacy and wait even longer for the medicine that at first only needed “10 more minutes”. Just pitiful.
Diligent team of caring professionals, enhanced by a corporate customer first approach with health and budget in mind. If you support a society less dependent on tobacco products, CVS is the only option I know of today. If you are on a paycheck to pay check budget, CVS CarePass may be right for you. Check your local CVS for more info. Lastly, CVS participates in the GoodRx and GoodRx Gold programs, which can save you a lot of $ over the long run.
Fast, friendly service, everytime I need to have my prescriptions filled or when I need to drop off pkg to be delivered through UPS. Staff is always courteous, informative, sweet and ready to go the extra mile to make the customer happy.
Pharmacy is absolutely terrible at picking up the phone and transferring prescriptions. If you enjoy being on hold for 30 minutes at a time, not speaking to an actual human, and having to deal with daily automated phone calls about the prescriptions they haven’t transferred after you move, this is the place to go! 👍🏼
They may be great, but are understaffed. I guess its all about the profits. Cant get through to ask any questions so I finally abandoned the call. Will go elsewhere for this service (Covid testing).
Dr. called in two prescriptions for me and verified with me that the pharmacy received them on their end. However, this CVS is telling me that they never got them. Now my Dr. is having to call them to clear it up, and this is just a hassle that should never happen. Also, Ive called this pharmacy a couple of times now, and the guy who answers the phone is rude.
Love CVS my favorite
Extremely long waits, in the drive through for 3p mintues. The service was terrible. They didnt answer the phone when I called to check and see when my scrip would be ready.
Staff and management can be very rude and unprofessional. I used to shop there frequently, but now I wont go there unless I have to
Went in close to closing time to grab a few things. Was yelled at by the cashier that she was “I need to check out because she’s about to lock the doors!”. When I went up to pay, she then asked “are you ready to checkout”? WHAT?! I had no choice but to be ready because I was told she was “locking the doors”!Believe me, I know seeing someone walk in right at closing is annoying but you can’t be that rude to people!
Extremely rude to my mother-in-law and handicapped brother in law. Wife ended up calling corporate.
Had to pick up my prescription. Great service. Pharmacy has been remodeled and is much more approachable.
The pharmacist work well with you. I’ve been here on and off for medications for almost 5 years
Very organized store, not busy at all
CVS Toccoa is, without question, the highlight of my day when I have the opportunity to go there. I have multiple prescriptions which I get filled by the knowledgeable, compassionate, and beyond friendly pharmacists (Austin and Pete) as well as by their team. Furthermore, I intentionally shop at CVS for a variety of goods that I need (even being a bit more pricey) because I tend to think a place that is centered around health should not sell tobacco products; which the corporate heads phased out of their business a few years ago. To me, this is an ethical practice that needs to be supported... regardless of price.Austin and Pete have, on multiple occasions, stayed later than the scheduled closing time to fill some of my necessary medications. Those actions demonstrate selflessness and a commitment to helping others that many chain pharmacies would not be willing to do. The two of them genuinely care about the population they serve and are willing to go the extra mile.Pharmacists have a notoriously stressful job: long hours, unceasing myriad responsibilities, and folks who believe they deserve to be catered to at a whim’s notice. However, in spite of all that, I have consistently been treated with the utmost consideration and respect every time I have made my way through those doors. The staff within the store itself are also remarkable. They greet nearly every visitor upon entering and they do so with a smile indicating a willingness to help if called upon. In particular, Allison is well worth the interaction. She is sweet, funny, the right amount of sarcastic, and willing to help with any and all requests (plus she wears cool glasses). All this to say, CVS Toccoa, both the pharmacy and the store, is a great business that does an exceptional job at putting people first. They have my business for life :)
They say theyll have your medds ready in about two hours and then when go to pic them up they dont even have the medds in stock after you have been at least 3 times
The pharmacist is very professional and the pharmacy techs as well. All around, this is a very well managed pharmacy.
Dropped off prescription at 7pm...1030 next morning still waiting. Staff unprofessional and aloof. While waiting another patron told their script still not ready, another told me they had been waiting since Sunday (its Friday). If your health matters, stay away from CVS.
Awful experience
