🤬Bunch of crooks‼️ The sign in front of the building says King Dollar. There is no signage that indicates that everything is now $1.59 so the consumer is left to assume everything is $1. I didnt find that out until the cashier rang up my three items. I handed her a $20 bill but asked her to wait a moment because I want to know why I was charged $5.16 for three items. The cashier informed me AFTER she took my $20 bill that everything is $1.59. I said thats DECEPTIVE sales practice and said I do not wish to purchase any items and asked politely for my $20 bill back. The cashier said she couldnt give my money back. I said you WILL return my money back since your business didnt properly display that the prices had increased.. I asked politely 3 more times to give me my $20 back and the cashier continued to refuse. I demanded my $20 back or I was going to call the police. She STILL refused so I called Tomball PD and while I was on the phone with TPD to report them for theft, the store manager came to the register and returned my money. I told the manager that there should be VERY CLEAR SIGNS that indicate that the majority of items are now $1.59. I HATE crooked merchants that try to steal from people. I will spend my money here again.

Not the bargain it use to be. Should be King Dollar Fifty or more now. Dollar Tree and 99 Cent store have more selection and they still just cost a buck....

It was my first time at this particular King dollar. The store was clean, the shelves were stocked well. Staff was courteous, polite and helpful. Prices that are not a dollar, are clearly labeled. For example can sodas were 4 / $1.39, etc. If it wasnt marked, you assumed it was $1! The variety of products from small tools, garden tools, to crafting supplies and cleaning products was excellent.

Always have interesting finds..I bought 2 BARBIE wonder woman shirts..You know this stuff goes for $5 or more at other stores..I paid $1.39 each.

How can it be King Dollar when the prices start at $1.39 and up truly false advertising.. I enjoy shopping at this store but sometimes the staff is not so nice. I think the store should have enough carts to shop its kinda hard to feel comfortable while shopping when you have to put everything in a hand basket after a while its too heavy. What I enjoy the most is the quantity of selections King Dollar offers.

Theres either a thief here or extremely careless staff working. I paid for $18 worth of items and then remembered an item I forgot to find. I told the cashier I would be back quickly. When I did, my items were gone and management refused to let me recover the items I had paid for. Essentially, I paid $20 for a spray bottle and a sorry for your bad luck response......

The best selection of things just a little more than a dollar. The @ll Hispanic employees rarely speak English and for working thereFor so long they really still dont have knowledge of their inventory, its a shame.

I wouldnt buy food here but its great to get cheap bobby pins, some beauty products and decoration stuff, also they have some beautiful glass container, they always have a diffrent selection, its pretty cool to explore at least for me. Obviously you wont be wanting to get food at a store like that but to explore is pretty cool place.

This has been my back up dollar store for years. Well, its not $1 anymore, its $1.25. I mean, I cant really complain, because Im still getting what I need for cheap. They have a pretty good selection of pretty much everything you can think of. If a different Dollar Store doesnt have it, then King Dollar most likely will.Ive seen multiple reviews about the customer service here, and its pretty true. Youre not acknowledged, and you only get a few words out of the cashier when checking out.

This is the best kind of dollar store. They have a wide variety of items that you wouldnt expect at a dollar store. Its really $1.25, though.

Sales girls were not very knowledgeable about their products, or which isle common daily sale items were on. Otherwise they had a great sleep inn to. Choose from.

This is my favorite dollar store to go to. I will drive out of my way to come here. You can find some great brand name items for $1.25. I looked online for the cost of this lotion on display and it was almost $30. So that wAs a great deal. Score!! A lot of the candy is older I have seen Christmas candy in the summer but it’s not like I came shopping for that. I usually come in for a few items and walk out with a cart full. I seen posts saying there is no public bathroom but all you have to do is ask. I never have any issues with the store associates.

If you like crafts this store has a great selection of items for that. It also has a great selection of plastic tablecovers for parties at a better price than the well known party stores.The employees are friendly, but not all speak fluent english, so dont get offended if they dont engage in conversation.

The reviews below state that everything is $1 and some say $1.25 but I just left the store today 9/30 @730 p.m and its $1.39 each! I was a bit upset that I only discovered this srey the register especially with a full cart. I felt so gypped because a 10 count pack of plain balloons were $1.39 and at Dollar Tree you get 15 count for just $1!. Their helium balloons are $3 each! I would prefer to go to Dollar Tree or 99 Cent only store instead because its cheaper. The only thing thats great about this place is their arts & crafts section and the table skirts. They definitely have more variety of products but the name brand stuff looks defective. For example the Dove deodorant and face wash stinks.. smells funny.

King Dollar really shouldnt go by that name since they are more than dollar.They have a lot of misc and some good deals, but a lot of common stores you can get same item for a buck including Dollar General and Walmart.

Better items than other $ stores some items are expired so be careful

Everything in the store unless marked otherwise is $1.25 + tax. They have 100s of name brand products everyday, but everyday the inventory brings in new items. Every holiday aisle 1 will be loaded with inside & outside decorations, giftwrap, bags, boxes & bows, & they have 1 of the largest selections of birthday, quinceneria, bridal & baby shower decorations& theyve now added crafting items like paint, beads, stickers, glue n glitter. They carry baby items, cleaning supplies, laundry soaps, softeners, haircare, personal hygiene, medical & otc meds,school & office supplies, sm kitchen & bath housewares, pet items, garden, toiletries, lots of sm tools & accessories for house repair, snacks,, kids toys, makeup and even have a large selection of foil helium filled ballons for many occasions. I love this store cause its always a surprise in what youll find.

Its a little dark inside and the age of the place shows. Feels a little cramped but they have a large selection. No public bathrooms.
