Had service on a 14 month old refridgerator. Paid for the service call. The techs adjustment to the fan motor did not solve the problem. Needed a fan motor. Ordered and paid for. Tech returned and installed the part. Was sent a invoice for the part it credit card charged for additional amount. I have disputed the charge.
I had my dryer fixed yesterday with Jersey Coast appliance. The technician were extremely knowledgeable and very professional. I had a technician from another company (Dependable Appliance) refuse to fix my dryer because I had tried to fix the dryer myself before I called. Thank you Jersey Coast Appliance!!
We recently purchased a new washing machine, Fridge and dishwasher, all delivered within a week. The only thing better than the customer service is their prices! We could not be happier and a special thanks to Joe and Gavin for making the deliveries and removal of the old appliances so easy!
I am taking back my first review. The tech was here early clean and pleasant. He told me my older dryer needed a new motor and blower, would cost around $600. I had another company come a check out my dryer. I didnt tell them I had already had it checked.. Turns out the motor was fine just needed a ignition switch, unfortunately the part is no longer available. I ended up buying a new dryer from Lowes! Great price and easy installation. I will no longer trust Jersey Coast!

I bought a brand new Frigidaire refrigerator (from HD)...The motor was unbearably loud....JCA came out and fixed it....6 months later needed another one, JCA came out again ( fortunately both times the warranty covered it)....6 months have passed and the motor is roaring again...so loud that I cant watch TV comfortably....the workers were clean and professional....but how can I justify these results.....3 bad motors in 15 months.....
Very disorganized. I needed to have a refrigerator repaired under warranty. This is who Frigidaire came up with. First of all, they could not schedule me for more than a week. I took the day off. The called, over an hour after they were supposed to show up, said the technician was sick and had to go home. I can understand this. People get sick. It happens. We re-scheduled and I took another day off - a week later. Again, no show. I called them and they claimed I never re-scheduled. Guess what I do for a living. I do service work. I dont fix refrigerators but I sure as hell treat my customers better than this. If I was this disorganized Id have gone out of business decades ago. Im on my third decade in the business with a stellar reputation.

Ordered a high end range hood.Went to install it and the problem was it was missing key installation parts and directions.Looked like someone repacked and returned the item. Notified the store, thinking they would say hey, bring it back. But it was like they thought I was lying. Their solution was hold on a minute, here is the number for customer service of the company. Really??? Thats your solution??So I called customer service and couldnt get thru the whole day! (They had phone issues). Called the store back and said I needed a solution now, so they called the service rep, and had the manufacturer call me.When Braun called me, they were great! You know what they told me? return it to the store and they will get me a New one shipped overnight! Something fishy.
Technician showed up and was obviously flustered claiming that he was not all that familiar with repairing Bosch brand appliances they then proceed to add approximately $40 to the cost of an OEM Part which is readily available on the web and tells me that it is over $300 in labor to replace a pump that the technician already told me is much less than an hour to install. Their answer to all of this was that they charge by the job not by the hour. BUYER,s BEWARE

The repair people they have sent us are absolutely terrible. I have been waiting to have my washer machine fixed since November and it is now february had to have them 5-6 times so far to come here it was always needing a new part and they even broke a part they would be here for 2 or 3 hours each time as well. We were very patient with them but it was something new every visit. They also showed up right before the times up every single time did not have any urgency with us whatsoever we have been waiting a very long time for it to be fixed. All the one worker did was complain in the other room and push the blame. Last week they thought they fixed the washer machine did not even run it and left & i had to be the one to run it and there was water everywhere. Don’t recommend them fixing your appliances at all.
Excellent service!! I filed a claim with my home warranty service for my Maytag washer and appointment was set for the next day. I received a call when the technician was on the way. Bobby arrived within the timeframe they gave me and immediately assessed the situation. He had the appropriate equipment in his car and fixed the washer within 15-20min. He was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Would definitely use them again.
We would like to express our gratitude to Jersey Coast Appliance. Our Whirlpool dryer, still under warranty, stopped working! The appliance store where we purchased it from was of little help, which turned into a nightmare experience to get it repaired. The company is awesome. I’m not being paid to say this. Prompt and they make sure they keep you in the loop on what’s going on. They dealt with a warranty issue repair that another company screwed me on for 5 months. Definitely would use them and their tech did an awesome job!
Have a Frigidaire upright freezer that conked out. Turns out it was the thermostat. Bobby said it had to be ordered which typically takes 3-5 business days. Was surprised to receive a call the next day that they had the part. Scheduled fir the following day. The lady making the appointment was extremely helpful as I only had the afternoon that day. She even called me back to confirm if the open window they had was ok. Bobby came at a little after 1 even though the window was 1-3. He had it fixed in under 15 minutes. My freezer is now working just fine.I’m thankful my wife talked me into the extended warranty 😀

We ordered a new freezer to replace ours that was constantly freezing up. We did everything, with Frank, over the phone and found a freezer that is great for us. We were, during these Covid trying times, anxious about having people in our home, but Frank assured us his delivery team would be very careful. I have to praise the team and in particular Mike. Both men wore masks and gloves. Both maintained social distancing and both were sensitive about our concerns. Mike gave us all the paper work and directions at the outset so we wouldnt have to interact to closely more than once (although even then he handed materials with an outstretched arm so we still maintianed distancing). Considering the process and anxieties, this was the best experience I could have hoped for. Thank you Jersey Coast Appliance.

Trish was extremely fresh, condescending and obnoxious. Their “service” workers are overbooked and unavailable. I wasted so much time waiting for someone who never showed up and then on hold with these jokers trying to find out why that I felt like warning every one of you not to even bother. Clearly they have enough business and don’t need mine or yours!

Jersey Coast Appliance is who we call when one our appliances need repair. Both times we called we got the same repairman, once for our dryer, and once to repair our stove-top. Hes always courteous, and fixes whats needed so we can get more life out of our appliances. Were very satisfied with the service.

I tried to call this company for a washing machine repair question on 11/22, it is now 11/25 and I never received a call back. I also wrote a message on their Facebook page, that it shows that they seen the message and still no response.
I was looking for a fitting for a gas stove. I Went in this store and the owner asked me what I was looking for so I told him that I needed a fitting for a gas stove, so he went and got me the right fitting and pulled out one of the stoves so I could match it in the back to double check. Then when I asked how much the fitting was he hands it to me and said next time you get an appliance come back and buy it from here. Thats a awesome business man. Definitely coming back when I need an appliance or any parts for one!
JCA was recently at my home to fix my dryer. From the customer service over the phone to my technician, joe, they were fantastic. My tech was able to diagnose the problem right away and thankfully had the part on his truck so it was fixed that day. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

Absolutely the worst! My dryer broke and they came out. They told me it was my electrical outlet. Had an electrician come out, and he said the electric was fine. I called back asking to send a different repair man since the first had been wrong. A new guy comes, says it’s the heating element and schedules us for a repair. I call to find out my two window appointment and they said I was never scheduled and wanted me to wait another day. After arguing, they sent someone out to repair the heating element. After ALL this time it wasn’t he heating element, it’s the “motor assembly”. Now I’m pissed. Three weeks, two different men and still not fixed. Then my next scheduled repair, they cancel because the part never came in. It is now going on almost a month STILL not repaired. The only reason I haven’t sought elsewhere for a repair is because I had to already dish out over $100 just for them to come look at it. The office women are very rude. I told them I was frustrated with the service and instead of them apologizing and trying to make it right, I was told oh well. How unprofessional. Their phone service strides in how great of a company they are and if you’re not happy they will fix it. When I told them I was very dissatisfied, they just gave me a shrug and told me goodbye. I would never use this company again. I’d rather just buy new at this rate.

I called looking for a part for my washer. My first mistake was thinking this was a place of business. Turns out its a angry woman who makes rude comments to the customer. When describing the part she rudely blurted never heard of that. I offered her the model # of the washer and the tried to describe the rear bracket in more detail only to be met with more rude antics. She said she would look up the part and call me back. She did, but didnt leave me a message. I called them back and she had left for the day. (literally 5 mins had passed since leaving me a message) It seems to me that paying customers are not what they are looking for.If you want to be treated poorly and spoken to rudely I would wholeheartedly recommend this parts department as they excel in this.

Had them come to repair a pump/draining problem for $250... the pump drain worked after the repair but SUDDENLY the timer agitator failed, the VERY first time I used the washer again and Jersey Coast said would be another $200 plus repair. The timer agitator was working PERFECTLY before the pump repair.. GO figure.. Do NOT use them for your repair jobs.

This company is terrible! It seems the entire staff is incompetent. The service techs are not good at their craft at all. My wall oven took 2 months to repair. The tech Mark didnt finish the repair correctly. He stated, i needed the gas off, but the other repair company came in and repaired his mistake.Dont every get a repair done from this company! The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Paid over $900 and unit still didnt work. When another serviceman came he said he had to leave his home to fix our unit. I asked him why he came if he didnt want towork? He said pay me & I will come in. Are u kidding? When I told the office they were rude and obnoxious .

Worst service ever..... charged a service visit only to tell me what i already knew. Had to send another tech to verify that my washing machine was broke and that they could not fix it. Problem is they charge 180 dollars to ring the door bell. I understand a service charge but give solutions i just feel like they took my money for nothing in return. They never even offered a discount on a new washer. Called the manager Trish she is always in meetings and Never ever calls back. I would never recomend them my advise to anyone is if your unit is older just save your money on the service call andgo to Lowes and buy a new one.

My washer machine broke down the other day and i called jca and i got a technician to come out right away on the same day to fix my machine, they had the parts on there truck. i was so happy they were able to fix it right away. while he was there he also looked at my range which needed an igniter. EXCELLENT experience!I walked into the Toms River store and asked sales rep Frank, to show us particular models of appliances that we were seeking. In less than 5 minutes, Frank showed us EXACTLY what we were looking for. He reviewed the features of models we wanted.We picked out the models we wanted. He then explained warranty coverage and details of what parts were included and would be installed in the TOTAL cost of the appliances, up-front. No trickery. No non-sense.In less than 10 minutes, we signed the invoice and paid for the appliances and agreed on a delivery date.Delivery day 2 days later--- 2 techs, nicely attired, arrived in a nice clean truck. They provided polite professional, no- nonsense greet and pre-install info--- these techs easily brought the bulky appliances inside house, through garage, (as I requested), with the correct type of hand-truck, with no problem.Zero scratches, dents, etc., to my driveway, garage, house and no dirt tracked into house!The 2 techs worked like good team mates, smooth & professional- these guys knew what they were doing. They positioned the appliances in a fairly cramped area, with ease.They then hooked up and tested the washer & dryer. The appliances worked fine-- But, they discovered a plumbing leak in my newly purchased home that could have been a big problem, if not fixed asap-- I had the plumbing repair made after they left.But--- before they left, they told me exactly what needed to be fixed, how much repair parts should cost and then-- how to properly connect the appliances, after the plumbing repair.These techs were 100% correct-- I did exactly what they said. I saved over $150 by following their advice.That night I did laundry, with ZERO problems. My combination microwave/convection oven stopped working. It took a few visits with calls to KitchenAid, and then removing it and taking back to shop to repair, but even when KitchenAid wasnt helpful, they kept at it. They went out of their way to to follow up with KitchenAid and get my almost out of date warranty to apply. The entire staff, including service, the techs, and Ralph (owner) were all very courteous and diligent. Thank you.

Absolutely horrible. The customer service service associates are gruff, rude and act as if they are doing you a favor. They refused to schedule warranty repair despite manufacturer authorization. During my three phone calls to them, they ignored my information and placed me on hold repeatedly to handle something else more important, Frustrated, I hung up and called another vendor, Immediate Appliance Repair . The difference was night and day. Immediate Appliance Repair was courteous and responsive and dispatched a service man the same day and fixed the problem. Plus they thanked me for using them! I will never use Jersey Coast Appliance, nor recommend them to anyone. They are not customer friendly and did not value potential business.
I wish I could leave negative stars. If your warranty company tries to make you use them run, demand another company. The operators are rude, screw up appointments scheduling wrong days, and just overall have no customer service. This has been an ongoing issue since October trying to get a leaking ice maker fixed. They ordered brand new parts after waiting months to get these parts installed ice maker still did not work and now no water. Rep. came back and started fixing with duct tape are you kidding duct tape brand new fridge!!! Needless to say still not working here is where the delightful operators show customer service, she Refuses to send anyone out wants to order more parts without even looking at what was done. Ticket was closed, I ask how ticket was closed when they never repaired unit was told ice maker was defective and then gets mad because I demand she send someone out to fix she tells me go somewhere else if I dont like it. I then find out why she wants to open a new ticket Jersey Coast reported the ticket closed to the warranty company back in Oct. Needless to say new company came out and installed the ice maker properly and got rid of the duct tape all working fine no defective ice maker here only poor customer service with techs that have no idea what they are doing.
I have used Jersey Coast Appliance for over 10Years, Including buying my appliances from them . Great service, reliable and prompt, friendly staff and reasonable prices . The owner Ralph is accessible and they come out at night, No waiting for 6 hours!

Horrible customer service! Two weeks to service a dishwasher and when asked for a morning appointment scheduled an afternoon appointment anyway. Called to reschedule because I had a family affair at that time, And THEN wanted me to wait another week to two weeks? Never use them! They are rude and unfriendly. I found them through Lowes Warrenty Service Center and called Lowes back and now have someone coming today. Amazingly other company fit me in within two days!

This outfit came out to service a brand new Frigidaire dishwasher that was under warranty for a defective control panel that was peeling. After waiting 3 weeks for the part, they came today to replace it. Now my dishwasher will not stay on and leaks. Do not use this service or buy Frigidaire products. Terrible customer service.

Our dishwasher broke, so we call jersey coast appliance and made an appointment. They didnt show up in the two hour window, and eventually i had to leave the house. Anyway we rescheduled, they said the pump was broke and would be 300 to fix, or just the 90 dollars for the trip out not to fix. 300 was cheaper than a new dishwasher, so we agreed. They came back out a week later(3 weeks now) and sent a different technician who repaired it, and ran the dishwasher for 4 minutes to show my wife. After he left, my wife ran the dishwasher, and it leaked all over our kitchen. They came back out 5 days later(original technician) and said we d have to replace a hose(another 300 dollars), to which i said i could have had a brand new dishwasher for less 3 weeks ago. They said theyd do it for 200$. To make a long story short, its over 4 weeks later, they were completely imcompetent, im buying a new dishwasher, out 300 bucks to these hacks. I took the time to register for this site, so i can warn you all, do not used this service, they will rip you off and drive you nuts.
