I bought a Duralast Gold 3 year warranty battery from Autozone Toms River in Oct 2019. It was OK through the winter and the next summer. In Fall of 2021 I had to call AAA for a jump start - 3 times. Just today was the 3rd time. I called Autozone and told them I had a battery still under warranty that will not hold charge. I explained and drove my car to the Autozone store on Rt 37 Toms River where I bought the battery. A very qualified Technician, named Caleb, tested the battery and effortlessly replaced it with a new one. No hassles - No problem. Caleb was excellent to deal with - knowledgeable, competent - a pleasure. I drove away with a new battery and the feeling that Autozone can be relied on to stand behind their warranty. I highly recommend Autozone.

For the cabin filter for my 2019 Kia forte at the dealership wanted to charge me $69 for and put it in and its working great

Staff not helpful. I dont know if they are under staffed or the time. The customers are more helpful lol. Not all Autozones are like this. The one by my house is so much better.

After my husband tried to return a battery that was defective Will stopped the young man from switching it out & tested it. It was completely dead, but then he decided he needed to charge it to “make sure”. I’ve been going here for years, and if you know how the system works, help a customer out and get them out the door. The other man with the long hair apologized frequently knowing this was wrong and helped us out when we came back. Upper management is a joke.

The staff was very helpful, I was greeted immediately and they were able to look up my exact rear wiper, get it from the shelf and ring me up in less than 5 minutes. Very fast, efficient and well stocked.

Went in to get new windshield wipers & had AMAZING service. I was greeted as soon as I walked through the door and the employee (Ashlee) helped me select the best wipers & even installed them for me! Also, with the current health crisis, it was nice to see all of the precautions that were taken to ensure customer & employee safety while still providing excellent service.

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!Consistently THE LONGEST wait for customer service of any store, of any type, anywhere over the course of my entire life.You can always hear employees talking, laughing and joking in the back but no one ever comes out to help the next customer. Subsequently, theres always a long line that moves VERY slowly, no matter what time of day.

I like AutoZone they usually have most of what you need and if they dont they certainly can help you find it or get it and its very reasonably priced

I got there about 20 minutes before closing. Mike helped me by scanning my car as a check engine light kept flashing. He took his time in explaining the problem. He was not condesending. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

I went inside to borrow tools to remove my car battery. I was told they did have tools to borrow. When my boyfriend came in right after me and asked the same question the guy behind the counter said, your buying the battery here? ok here. Where was I gonna go without a battery?? I do know how to change my own battery. What if I was they alone I would have been stuck and unable to pick up my child from school. This location has lost a customer. This is not the first time this location has been racist and gender bias towards me. Mark my words never again.

Had some items that helped me in a bind. Ultimately found a more suitable product at a competing chain and didnt particularly enjoy standing at the register for nearly 10 minutes before someone decided to interrupt what they were doing to ring me up. I understand that staffing has to be tight in this business but at minimum make sure your customers can purchase things at your store! I nearly walked out in frustration!

I give 3 🌟 bc they lied to me. I was purchasing a new battery and they are supposed to replace it there. They told me they couldnt and sent me to a place up the street and I paid $50 to have my battery replaced. I called corporate and explained, corporate was very apologetic and sent me a check for the $50. They didnt even ask for my receipt. So I say this is a good place to shop but maybe a different store.

My friend purchase the battery from this dump for $164. It was the wrong size battery she had to return it three times before they gave her the right battery which only cost $92 the manager Ryan claimed her return was only worth $8 to her what a rip-off never going there again

Autozone on Rt. 37 W in Toms River, NJ.Counter guys lack any semblance of a personality.Called ahead and asked if they have in stock the Rainex wiper blades and do they install them.Yes was the response. I said Ill be over in 10 minutes.Purchased the blades for over $50!!!!!I paid, he handed me the blades in a bag.I said, I just called 10 minutes ago about getting the blades installed. Did I speak to you? Yes he said. I told you on the phone that I needed them installed (they do at N/C).Well, the counter guy couldnt have looked more put out by my request.If I ever go to Autozone again, Ill go to a different one.
