Long story short, it is nice to see leading by example. Management is so down to earth from Big John, Gene and Rob. They made me feel comfortable while I was leasing my truck, Jonathan was my sales person person, he was very personal and patient. I also dealt with Donato, great kid and did not rush the process while explaining all the financing part of it. I am so happy to deal with this dealer and hope they continue this way and I will totally recommend. I also dealt with Carolyn in service and she was great! I bought a used car from them and I just did all of it online. They handled the papers for me and communicated with the company that financed my car. They also handled the title transfer and registration so it would not be a problem for me anymore and after that, they delivered my vehicle straight to my home. I am a first-time car owner and I needed more assistance in purchasing a vehicle. I am very thankful for making it possible for me to own a Ford car and hoping my new vehicle will last for many years. Thank you Downs Ford!

Had an excellent experience buying a new truck at downs Ford. Even in these weird times where there is no inventory or deals to be had, I was comfortable in making a purchase here. I was able to get the truck I wanted for the price I was willing to pay for it. The Sara team was very nice and accommodating. Not once was I pressured. I’ll definitely be a returning client.

Downs Ford was right there! I’m going on a road trip to see my brother. I called the service department to have my car checked out because it’s over a 1200 mile trip, one way and my oil change is due in Oct and the rep was very friendly and knowledgeable this was on Monday she gave me an appointment for the next day with a time of 1pm, Good thing! Yep, I needed front brakes and rotors and I had a nail in my tire. It’s all good! Thanks to the people at Downs Ford for fitting me in and giving great customer service, and keeping me safe and my car running smooth❤️🚘

Brought my car in for a recall service. Patti in service was a gem. At first she couldnt find me in the system because of miscommunication about my appointment, but she got everything handled because I was there. She made sure everything was taken care of. Nice to have such a sweet lady! They were fast with doing the service. I would use them again if i needed to.

Mike, the service writer listen to me for what I expected to have done. He was extremely easy to communicate with and processed to get all the work done quickly and completely to my satisfaction. When the work was completed she also told me of a recall that was needed on my vehicle as well as other work that was necessary. She readily scheduled the work and ordered parts that were needed. I had an oil change and tire rotation schedule for today at 7am with a loaner requested. All this was done on downs ford website. However when I walked in at 7 am the staff seemed surprised and said they didnt open until 7:30. None the less they were attentive and took me in. I didnt receive my loaner which was bothersome because I needed to then arrange someone to take my daughter to school which was a major inconvenience. The service was relatively quick and the staff was friendly and attentive.

The experience was as always good, the service writer was very good and knowledgeable about my vehicle. He notified me quickly about additional work that needed to be performed which needed my approval and given an approximate time frame when the work would be completed once I approved the additional work. After returning to pick up my vehicle after the repairs where completed the gentleman who assisted me also retrieved my vehicle and brought to the service office front door for me. The repairs have been completed and the vehicle runs and drives excelent.

I had the misfortune of getting a tire leak while on the Garden State Parkway . Thankfully the Ford Mobile app directed me to the nearest dealership on route 37, Downs FordThe receptionist was kind, and assured me while coming in that they would be ready ! Not thrilled with service dept. Used Downs for first time. Car came back with same issue the next day. Took it back in yesterday morning. No calls on my car. I had to call to find out my cars status. To be told it was late in the day when they got to it. So I still dont know what s up with my edgeOk so I have heard from my service guys and my Outlook has risen on how attentive Downs is to their customer. So if my car comes back fixed, they will rise in my scoring....to be continuedAhhhh I picked up my car. I give kudos now to Mike in service center and his mechanics. After working on my Ford Edge, they found the issue with my brakes. Now my car ran perfect when I picked it up.As a single person dropping off a car for service usually means bothering a friend. Not with Downs Ford. Bringing in a vehicle and either getting the shuttle or an Uber, Downs makes it less of a hassle. Hopefully they will be servicing my Edge for a long time to come. I am now a very pleased and happy customer.

My wife and I had been looking for a vehicle to accommodate our 3 grand children. Jonathan was our sales rep and we could not have been in better hands. We did not arrive until 6pm but Jonathan was patient with us as we tried to determine the best vehicle for us. Once we made our decision to purchase we knew that Jonathan would be working well past 8pm. They had the car detailed while the paper work was getting completed. It was after 9 pm yet Jonathan still stayed to show us how many of the features of our expedition worked. Overall very good, Maria did a great job with doing a virtual viewing of the vehicle we ended up buying. Communication was prompt, and the vehicle was clean. Only problem were the hidden fees that were not disclosed until it was time to close, particularly an upgrade on the warranty for it passing a special inspection that added $900. Otherwise, all went well.

Extremely disappointed today. this is the 2nd time that i’ve taken my vehicle in for an oil change and I’ve had to wait an hour and 15 minutes today. The last time I brought it in it was an hour and 45 minutes. I also asked if they could check to see why the check engine light was on and I was told that there was no time for that today. But then she told me that I needed a fuel injector service and some throttle service. So they had time to do that but they had no time to check to see why my check engine light was on. I am extremely disappointed and I will not be returning to Downs Ford.

I purchased my 2019 F 250 from another Ford dealer, only to find out they were very dishonest with regards to the carfax report. I needed a recall issue looked at and also needed to have the wheel alignment checked, so I made an appointment at Downs and couldnt be happier with their workmanship and professionalism. After contacting 4 different dealers I was happily surprise to have not one but 4 vehicles to choose from when I reached Downs Ford of Tom’s River. So funny, I looked across at the floor model while I was waiting and it felt like that this was what I was looking for. Joe Murphy said its the one. I had to agree. We started the paperwork and who came by but big John the sales manager. We met the previous week when our daughter bought her new car Hearing I was from the islands big John shared his stories of Hawaii. What a great island connection. The next step was also upbeat with their Finance agent Antonio. As we spoke about island living our paperwork was complete. The time went by with ease. If it was possible to give less than 1 star thats what I would give. I will never go back to this dealership again. I would push my truck to Delaware before I went back to this dishonest dealership for any type of service. I would recommend that NO one goes here especiallyIf you are a woman or dont know a lot about cars. They will over charge you add things you dont need or want without asking them charge you for them. They take advantage of women. I will take my business to a dealship that has more integrity.If you value your money and dont want to get cheated pick a different dealership.

We were on vacation in LBI from Maryland. My daughters tire started SCREECHING the worst sound I have ever heard. We have a warranty on her car so we had to bring it to a Ford Dealership. God was looking down on us when I found DOWNS Ford. Joe, the service manager answered the phone and calmed me down and made the world be right!! I knew I was in good hands just from his calming voice. He then put me in touch a with Amanda. Who made me laugh as she sang a song. These people were amazing. They found that it was a silly pebble that got logged in between the rotor and tire. These people were pure heaven. If we ever have to buy a car we will drive up from MD. to buy a car from these amazing people!

I’m traveling cross country in my Transit 350 ‘stealth’ camper and need to rely on the service crew when ‘Vanda’ needs maintenance. Downs Ford provided good service on past trips and it was easy to plan my distance to be in Toms River and equally easy to schedule my appointment with Downs Ford’s service department. Everything that I wanted was done and the service tech even found a nest in the engine compartment that I blame on not traveling during Covid. I feel that the service team at Downs Ford works for and deserves a 5 star rating

Walked in for inquiry I made online, the lady I spoke i on the phone Stacy was pleasant and I expected the same when I arrived however the gentleman that greeted me was just not pleasant. He was giving me is honest opinion which I respect however I wanted to lease a car from them, and he told me it made no sense to do that, just finance. He also advised me not to go anywhere else to lease because it was a waste of time and money.. I went there to get the car appraised to see what I can get to see how much I can get for it, but never did, only gave me an option to leave a deposit for when the car I wanted arrived but there is wasn’t an eta. So I went down the street to Lester glen jeep, and I leased their vehicle for price that fit me. The part that bothered me was that I told him ideally would love to be in 4-500 ballpark, but was open to other options and unfortunately we didn’t get that far. Customer experience wasn’t there didn’t go the extra mile to give me other options or see what other vehicles I may be interested in. Must be just another number to this company if that’s how the employees treat their customers

This is the third time I have brought a vehicle to Down’s with horrible service. First I brought my truck in for an oil change and was advised of a recall. Dropped the vehicle off at 8am and had to call at 5pm to check on status, the oil change was done but unable to complete the recall. Second time brought my wife’s car in for oil change and brakes. Dropped off in the am and called at 5pm, they said it would be done the next day. That is unacceptable since she needed the vehicle for work. Third time, I was called from Down’s about a recall for a weld. Scheduled the appointment around regular service. Was advised that they were unable to complete the recall since they did not have the equipment to do so. You would think since they contacted me about the recall they would ha e the equipment.STAY AWAY FROM DOWN’S SERVICE.

Called a month ahead for service and loaner vehicle. Took my car in and they said I couldnt have one because none were left. No employee cared and they just stared at me even tho I told them I needed one in advance. Thanks for the terrible service and this literally reiterates why i will never own a ford again.Also talked to sales. They said I could test drive a car. Went outside to talk to my wife and then when i came back in they told me i couldnt? I purchased my Ford Escape from Downs Ford 2 years ago and all my servicing has been done by their Service Department. Everyone that Ive dealt with has been courteous, helpful and informative. I recently had to have my car towed to the dealership but had a problem with Ford Roadside Assistance--they told me my car (which is still under warranty) could not be towed there and that I would have to pay out-of-pocket for what should have been a courtesy service. I called Mike in the Service Dept. and he took care of it for me immediately! Ill never take my care anywhere else!

The Vehicle I bought is working like a vehicle so thats good. Sales rep was nice to talk to and worked with me. The only thing that caused the stars to go down was a discrepancy on my part and not understanding but I wouldnt have bought the vehicle if I was explained the loan situation properly. Essentially after all the hidden fees Im paying about twice as much on the total then I originally thought I was. Aside from that added stress for the next several years, experience was good.

My experience at Downs Ford was a very good one. I arranged for a test drive on a CPO F-150 and when I arrived at the dealership, the vehicle was out front, prepped and ready. The salesman, Antonio Piano, was hassle-free and was very personable and professional. I went in the dealership with the intention of possibly purchasing the truck but the positive attitudes and overall friendliness of Antonio and the manager (forgot the name, sorry) made the experience one that was pleasurable, which often isn’t the Case at a dealership!

I bought my 17 Focus St here 3 and a half years ago. Ron is an amazing salesman. I needed something from parts the other day and Chris was a really great help going above and beyond to help me. As my vehicle ages I will return for more parts and when the time comes I will return to buy my next car. Already know I want a Mustang. Great job guys. Keep it up!
