I bought a brand new boat and it turned out to be a lemon a defective boat. It had every electrical problem that could possibly be on a boat. They took it in and billed the mfg every time without acknowledging that it’s defective. I would never trust this place !!!! After the 6 th time this summer the boat went in sales manager decided to get on the call never spoke to anyone in service nothing 200k boat and no one cares!!!! Lost the entire summer and still do not have my boat !!! Beware they do not have your back!!! They just care about getting paid.

My sales associate was very knowledgeable on all the new boats they sell. Joe Bags as I called him never tried to push extras. While Coty Marine didnt have any dealer or manufacturer rebate to offer I still feel the price for my 2022 Keywest 189FS was fair. Aside from price, I have been told the their service department was top notch. Time will tell if thats the case. You can buy a Keywest boat at any dealer but what matters is the service after you take possession.Thanks to Joe and his sales manager for the smooth stressless transaction.Big Tom Walsh

Pretty sure I would have given up on boating if not for this place. As a boater you naturally have to know some simple things about how your boat works, I can get through some simple things and used to have marinas or local mechanics guys to do more difficult things. That experience almost killed boating for me, because they’re untrustworthy or notoriously unreliable if you got them to call you back at all. Coty is unique in that every time I had an issue, they were willing to trying to help me fix things myself before them getting involved. This helped me understand things better and overall lowered the cost of owning a boat dramatically, knowing that I had someone to talk to who I could trust to help me through problems.Over the seasons I now have them do preventative Maintence and surprisingly my issues have gone down dramatically. I’m really happy with my experience there.

Coty Marine from the Sales to Service does a wonderful job. They are patient and considerate and always answer all of my questions. Rich and Trista took great care launching my boat and handling all the preparations. Given this is my first boat, I feel comfortable working with Coty Marine on all boat servicing including maintenance, winterization and spring launch.

Stay away. I would put negative review number if I could. I bought a brokerage boat Monterey 335SY because they are dealers of this brand and paid ask price. I thought it is like buying a certified preowned car… Of course test drive and survey went perfect. The problems started on the first day when I picked up the boat for her trip back to the home port. Engines went to guardian mode in the middle of the ocean. Somehow we got home safely but since then I have problems with exhaust system over and over again. I have already spent substantial money to replace sensors but problems keep coming back. This is not an experience I would imagine buying a boat from the largest (as they claim) Monterey dealer. Also their service is below all expectations. They charged me for the incomplete work and refuse to refund. When I cancelled the parts order they refused to refund as well. I had to use bank charge back to get the money from them.

SERVICE SERVICE !!!!!Coty has a top notch service department. I have been extremely happy with them from the minute we got our Boat. Their service department had a technician come out to my boat on his way into work to check out a problem we were having on our motor. The batteries were dead on the boat and he took the battery from his vehicle and connected it so he could check out my boat. He then came back the next day - on Saturday to install the new censor we needed and installed a privacy curtain on the boat. Rick, the service manager knew we wanted to use the boat that weekend and ensure his staff, Eric the technician got our boat up and running for us. Rick, the Service Manager, Matt the Assistant Service Manager and Eric the Technician were all fabulous to deal with. They had great communication and did an excellent job. Rick was calling me on his day off and even called me at 9:30 on a Friday with an update. I cant say enough great things about the service department at Coty Marine. Thank you Rick, Matt and Eric - you are fabulous!!!!

Stay away from this Coty Marine. The sales team is great but the service department takes short cuts. I purchased a boat from Coty and when it was delivered the engine oil was black and so was the lower gear oil. Bottom paint was put on without a barrier coat. If the customer has no knowledge of boats, Coty will absolutely take short cuts. Trust me on this one and stay away from this company. Youll be sorry if you buy from Coty. They are so busy that they truly do not care about you after you buy from them.

We purchased a kw 203 fs from Rich. He was very laid back and made sure the boat we selected would meet our needs and didnt pressure us to sign papers, he made the experience very easy and stress free. His staff seems to all get along and are friendly and knowledgeable. They did a great job prepping the boat and had all the accessories that I requested and the title work completed in no time at all. When we picked up the boat they gave us an on the water demo and made sure we were comfortable with the boat and the accessories before we left. If you are in the market for a boat stop by and take a look if you decide to go forward his staff will make sure your needs are accommodated.

This will be a bit of strange review because we did not end up buying a boat from Coty. After having had a less than good experience with another dealer, we visited Coty to look at our options in Monterey. Both our salesman Jerry and the general manager Dave spent a lot of time learning our needs and wants. In the end, we put an offer on a used boat which happened to be on brokerage at another dealer. If we were to have gone the new boat route, we would have given Coty our business in a heartbeat. I will stay in touch with them and expect that well be chatting about a new boat in the next few years.

They are by far the best marina I have ever worked with. The work with you in every way. They are super fare with there rates and did not overcharge me. There tech spend 1/2 hour with me going over my boat which I did not even buy from them and never charged me a dime. I will never go anywhere else for work.

We used they’re ramp for spring launch, it was a nice ramp and the employees seemed very calm even during the chaos of everyone trying to get their boats in before Memorial Day weekend. I was impressed.

We bought the first Monterey 385. The boat has been better than expected. I do not know how long we will keep because my Fiance has a habit of changing boats like changing socks.Anyway Nick the new manager is getting a handle on everything and is the constant professional. The sales staff with Joe Mewin leading the way are down to earth never got the feeling they were just trying to sell you a boat. Jerry and Pontoon boy are good humored and a pleasure to deal with.Joe is as good as it gets with his knowledge of all the product he sells and how it compares to the competition. The owner Richie is a hands on guy who is available 24 seven. Our only issue is with the Mfg. Monterey but I am sure it will be resolved, all this being said Coty marine is a class act with great people. By the way the gal who really runs this place with her charming personality -- her name Trista is always there if you need her!!

Purchased a boat at the 2019 Boat show in AC. Avalon sales rep sold us on the boat - sales rep was ok but was only working the show, never heard or saw him again. Pretty decent service until we picked up the boat. Once we picked up our boat the sales and customer service has been horrible. Our tags were delivered late - I had to call several times. We have been waiting 3 months for our privacy curtain to arrive and be installed; we have been told several times it was shipped but never contacted to have it installed. No one calls back and have to email several times. Trying to purchase a new trailer due to an accident on the original trailer and cant get a new quote; guess they dont want the business. Very disappointed with way we have been treated since paying cash and picking up our boat in March. Dont think I would refer additional business or be a repeat customer.

I love my Key West 239s purchased at Coty Marine in 2017. The price was right and I was treated well by Jerry, my salesman and Dave Patnaude, the former Sales manager, who is now Managing the whole operation.Those two guys were great.However, I had some issues with the service manager and went elsewhere for my 20 hour service and winterization. I got ripped off severely costwise. and I never received an itemized bill for service. The manager didnt even know what services were performed on my boat.This Spring I had a battery problem and returned to Coty. They took care of the problem immediately and professionally. That kind of service builds a strong reputation and most especially, trust. I appreciate that service and trust. it is greatly appreciated....so I am back there for good. Word to the wise if you own a Yamaha, stick with Coty Marine.

Cody marine by is a top-tier marine facility, here in New Jersey, that runs parallel to many top notch FLA outfits, They carry a large array of boating manufacturers, sales department has many professional years to be proud of . Until recently on my dealings were Service, Warranty, and winter storage. This year I pulled the trigger on a New pair of Merc. Outboards Dave went out of his way to make sure I got a fair price, Richie gave me a great price on the new motors, the service department, thank you Rick, Chuck, Danny! Very helpful and friendly staff. I just got my 32 ccx delivered last week from Coty marine. Today in snow mobile clothes and dressed like we were going skiing not boating, “NY weather” I put 145 miles on the boat in one day cruising with family. I once owned a marine business and have been boating for 37 great years. I’ve been lucky enough to have Friends that have the greatest and latest boats that are all over the covers of magazines!I’m telling you right now from major marine experience this Sunsation 32 ccx is the sickest, baddest, fastest, fuel efficient and fit and finish boat I have ever experienced! And don’t let me forget the most important part “price point”! After my ride experience I would have paid $150000 more and would have still been happy with my purchase cost.This boat and company is a little trade secret that the marine world needs to discover! Let me also add that my experience with Joe and the company was incredible. I bought the boat at the 2018 New York boat show at the javits center. Joe said I would have the boat in 10 weeks and sent me pictures every 2 weeks as the boat progressed through the build job. My kids asking everyday when they got home from school “did joe send more pictures” he delivered on time and the Dahlen family couldn’t be any happier! I stopped by the Monterey Booth at the NY Boat Show and met one of Cotys salesmen Joe... the rest is history. As far as Im concerned, Monterey and Coty Marine are a great combination. I have had dealings with the entire staff starting with Joe and Dave, there was no sales pressure and when it came to the delivery, both wanted to go above and beyond to make sure all my needs were met. As busy as they are, the Service Manager Rick, Rich Coty and Trista always take the time to address any issues or concerns that I have had with my new Monterey (both have been extremely minor). Beyond the boat service is everything! I have been dealing with Coty for a little over a year and it seems that every time I go there are more improvements are in process. Great Job to all!!

I bought a pontoon boat(2016 left over), Jerry was the salesman, boat was for sale for $44k, . So we bought, asked Jerry if he could throw in a free oil and filter change at the end of the season, he said you’re killing me, didn’t get the free oil change. At the end of season(2017) took my boat to Cody for winterization, Rick informed me of the charges, thought it was fair.... Come spring start up, Rick tells me what it would cost, another $1300 on top of $2038, in which he did not mention those fees to me when I took it in for the winter. Talk about nickel and diming you, for instance, $75 to take wrap off and dispose it ....Really?

Was in the market for a Tritoon and stopped in at Coty Marine to take a look at what they had . Dave the sales manager showed me all of the models they had in stock and was more concerned with what was important to me in a boat rather than what he wanted to sell. After zeroing in one the model I liked ( Avalon Wind Jammer RL 2585 ) and a very transparent negotiation I told him I want the family to take a look. His response, NO PROBLEM ! Fast forward, family loved it and we had a limited window of time for delivery so the owner Rich Coty met us at the marina and personally went over the boat and gave a well informed Sea Trial and made sure the boat came with all necessary lines, bumpers, life vests and so on. while taking delivery Rich pointed out to me some minor factory defects that I didnt notice and asked me if I wanted to have it repaired prior to taking delivery, my response was can we do it in a couple of weeks so we can enjoy it now and he said just let me know when you want it done. I dropped it off on a Sunday eve in a slip and it was completed and back in the slip for the following weekend. Trista in the office handled the necessary title work and gave us a temporary registration in the interim. To some it up this was a great experience !

The entire experience with Coty Marine and the purchase of my new Monterey was fantastic. I was hours away from signing a deal with another Monterey agency on a boat I felt I was settling for because of the color. At the 11th hour, I checked Cotys online inventory and saw they had exactly what I was looking for. I contacted and visited the showroom on Friday. I was greeted immediately by Jerry. He was eager to help and discuss the features of the boat with me. I then met with Dave, the sales manager of the agency, who was just a pleasure to negotiate with. He was very fair on the pricing and never made me feel pressured that I had to make a deal on the spot. I had my 9 year old with me and told Dave I was going to take him to lunch and I would be back in an hour. An hour later, I signed a deal on the Monterey I wanted. All the paperwork was done electronically Saturday and Sunday morning, my family and I were on the water in our new boat. Dave even came in on his day off to make sure I was happy with everything and Jerry took us out for our sea test and delivery process. All around, a fantastic experience. I am confident I have found my new boat guys in Dave, Jerry and Coty Marine. Thank you all for your help.

I am a recent customer of Coty Marine in Toms River NJ. I purchased a 2017 Monterey 360SC, took delivery in August and the experience has been nothing less than outstanding.The boat arrived on the date promised, the delivery condition was impeccable and the curtesy of the staff outstanding. A special call-out to Danny who lead the prepping of the boat and followed up with a phone call to make sure everything was working well.The other call out is to Dave Patnaude, the best salesman I have ever worked with. Dave sold me the boat and then arranged for a visit to the Monterey Factory. He accompanied my wife and I and we had a really great time. The Monterey people in Williston, FL were great.The thing that I keep coming back to is that Dave did not sell me things that I did not need and did sell me things I did need. For instance, I asked about bow thrusters (thousands of dollars) and he and Monterey insisted that I did not need them (they could have very easily sold them to me). I do not need them as the Joy Stick is a Joy.On the other hand, when I wanted to pass on the BBQ grill (much less money) they insisted I had to have it. Well, the grill is another great feature of the boat and we use it often.It is rare when you meet a salesman that is looking out for your interest and you can be sure that Dave Patnaude is doing this.The next step in my journey is laying my Monterey up for the winter at Coty Marine and I am looking forward to a continuation of the great service and friendly people that I have come to enjoy. I can say that right off the bat, the pricing is fair at Coty Marine.Tune back in as I will be updating my reviews.
