I cannot say enough about the excellent help and service I received at Jet Medix. I had an old wave runner and they could not have helped me more. I was going on vacation with my family and they immediately got my wave runner tuned up and running perfectly. Then I did something stupid and flooded the engine compartment and they got it running beautifully again! They saved our vacation and I was so lucky to find them! Their knowledge of wave runners is so exceptional and I feel like they have all the answers I needed!

They don’t answer calls and when they do they just give you a run around. And it’s not even just them can’t find someone to work on my jetski in the entire area cuz it seems jetski mechanics are primadonas who are afraid to work on anything older than 10 years and don’t even bother Tryna reply to this cuz I’ve been trying to get in contact with someone for weeks and no one in the area seems to wanna answer their phone.

I can’t say enough good things about Jetmedix. Joe (the owner) is phenomenal, to say the least. I called Joe on a Saturday afternoon an hour before he closed with a seized up prop on my jet ski. He told me to get it to him right away to take a look. Within 2 minutes of arriving at his shop Joe had begun working on my jet ski, and gave me a definitive answer as to what I was going to need fixed before I even left. By lunch time the next business day Joe had my jet ski ready to go. He went above and beyond what I had even requested him to do. Joe painted and enameled all the raw aluminum components of my jet ski to prevent future corrosion and he replaced my impeller with an aftermarket unit that improved the performance of my jet ski. Joe expressed to me that he has an unending passion for these machines and it was so clear in my interactions with him. He expressed that his goal is to gain life long customers for service only, not for repairs. He wants to set up each of his customers’ machines to last a life time by doing the right work to make them reliable for years to come. He also wants to educate his customers on how to take care of their machines the right way, and I find that incredibly honorable. I cant even explain how amazing Jet Medix is. I have been going there for about 3 years now. Joe goes above and beyond to make sure mine or anyones ski is maintained and worked on like it is his own. I had an incident with my ski recently where I thought it was going to be shot because it was pretty much filled with water from a really bad storm. The only thing I could think of was getting my ski to Joe to look at and go from there. Joe took care of me and got right to work on the ski. Lucky for me it wasnt anything bad could of been worse. Joe was amazing !! He is professional and friendly, super easy to talk to and is just all around fantastic. We had our jet ski serviced with spark plugs changed, oil changed, system flushed and other general maintenance performed. Pricing is phenomenal compared to other marinas/dealers or service centers. Long story short, had my jetski emergency towed there after hours because I broke the axle to my trailer while towing the jetski. Despite it being after hours and without any notification, the owner was very professional and made a spot for my jetski. The next morning he showed me great courtesy and examined and serviced my ski first thing. Going forward, this is the only place I will ever use and the only place I will recommend to anyone in need of PWC service or repair.

Joe and his team were both incredibly knowledgeable on all things jetski related and incredibly efficient with scheduling and turn-around. I brought my 2008 FX-SHO in earlier in the year for basic service (and cleaned up the entire ski), during which time Joe suggested a new impeller/housing. After recently having both ordered and installed, I can happily say the machine runs better than new. Jet Medix is the only place Ill bring my ski going forward!

One of those humbleing situations in life where you first have to admit you dont know as much as you need to, and you must find someone you can trust to share their expertise. I started from scratch and called these boys randomly to root out a potential issue with the preowned sea doo i just bought. Jet Medix UNDERPROMISED and OVERDELIVERED(which is key in cistomer service and i fully appreciate) Came out to the house quicker then expected and taught me the issue was in me, and i wasnt as confident in my ski as i should have been. My instincts put the right boat in my backyard, but it took this group of pros, who i feel like ive known for years, to come out and be confident its as great as i thought it was. I visited Joe for what I thought was a dead battery after sitting all winter. He takes in my ski and said he would call me in a few hours once he replaced it for me. He later called and explained to me a serious issue brought on by my incompetence (that I wish not to repeat) and spent the next few hours flushing my engine and replacing my oil. He got my ski up and running same day; on a Saturday, staying until 6pm to work on it. Joe was very straightforward about what needed to be done and did it all within a few hours. SO, i call Jet Medix to tell them that my Jet Ski almost sank in the bay and my engine block was full of salt water. They said they have 30 customers ahead of me waiting for servicing and it may be some time to schedule an appointment. Out of the kindness of Joes heart, he said, get that machine here ASAP or you might as well just throw it away! I brought machine immediately to him and he was able to save my Jet Ski in a matter of 2 hours. This is a CLASSIC example of a company that TRULY cares about their customers. Friend of mine bought a ski which had work done by this shop. Previous owner spent almost 2000 dollars at this shop over this past winter. Out of that, 200 dollars was charged for a carb rebuild. First time riding ski, after 15 mins, it bogged out and wouldnt run past 5mph. Carbs got pulled apart, and found inlet filters in carbs all clogged up, old gaskets, and warped diaphragms. If carbs were freshly rebuilt, (and if brand new fuel filter was installed which was also on receipt), this issue would have not come up. After seeing pictures, I feel as though this shop should have offered carb rebuild kits instead of giving the run-around when confronted about it. He was told that carbs were rebuilt, shop doesnt test fuel, maybe it was ran on reserve and it sucked stuff from bottom of the tank. This much stuff wouldnt make it through 2 filters. And maybe after doing a top end and carb rebuild, more steps should be taken so that this kind of thing WOULDNT happen. If it kept being ridden, he would have been paying for another top end rebuild because of this.Response: Jet medix was called and asked about repair job before ski was ridden. After ski was ridden for the first time is when real issues were discovered. Its easy to say over the phone that we did this work before ski had a ride on it. After issues were discovered, shop gave 1 weak email response and stopped responding after further questions. Made no effort to look further into the problem or help out.

GREAT Experience with this business! Needed a motor for 09 Yamaha FxSho that kids overheated and saw he had a 14 insurance wreck for sale on FB for reasonable price (couldnt get one anywhere else). Called Joe at 10:00 last Saturday and had it by noon and installed next day w/his guidance to work in the 09. I originally took my jet pump there to get the oe impeller off as I didnt have the shaft holding tool. He took it off no problem then we discovered the pump had pretty big chunk missing out of one of the vanes. He went over multiple options with me and eventually we agreed to try to have his welder give it a shot. Since its aluminum there was no guarantee but being an auto tech I understood this. The pump turned out great and Joe saved me easily $500. Hes a very honest guy who really cares about his customers. Id recommend anyone to him. Thanks Joe!

Joe and the team were phenomenal to work with. I had a steering cable go on my 2012 RXPX and found out while heading 50 mph into marsh. While we initially though the cable snapped, turns out it came loose from the housing. Instead of installing a new cable they were able to re tighten the original cable back into the housing. Joe was upfront and honest saying that we did not need to install a new cable and simply refunded the money for the part. They also provided a general service of oil, filter and spark plugs. All of this one done in one afternoon and was still able to get out and ride without being down for weeks. Cant recommend JetMedix enough, I will be referring all of my friends and family to them.

Excellent service!Bought a 2000 Yamaha SUV. Only problem there was a rope caught in the prop shaft. I was unable to get it out myself so I brought it to JetMedix and they took care in 5 minutes. As busy as he was he took my 2 Kawasaki 300 turbos in and got them running like new after sitting since hurricane Sandy took out my house 7 years ago. Recently had work performed on my older Yamaha. Service was great! Work was performed on time and under estimate. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable, so much so that they gave me pointers so that I could diagnose a problem I had with my other ski so that I could try and fix it before bringing it to them for repair. I will definitely use them again as well as recommend them to friends.

My 2012 Sea Doo GTX stopped running while out on the water last week. As frustrating as that was I knew it would even be worse trying to find a fair and reputably place to diagnose and repair it. After years of going to the Sea Doo dealers and getting gauged, a friend referred me to Jet Medix in Toms River. I called on a Monday(not knowing they are closed on Mondays) and was fortunate to catch Joe the owner at the office. Explained the problem and he asked me to call back the next day at 10:30 to set a time to stop by. Spoke to him Tuesday, brought the See Doo by the shop the next day and I could immediately tell Joe truly knew his business. . He was candid and transparent about the possible options and although his place was packed with wave runners he committed to getting back to me the next day. Got a call from Julie a super nice woman in the office who said it was done come pick it up.Met with Joe, he took the time to walk me through exactly what was wrong. Price was reasonable, turn around was awesome and everyone I met at the shop was helpful. I will definitely be bringing my wave runners to Jed Medix for all of their future needs. Nice to see a person sopassionate about their business.

We first met the owner Joe when looking to purchase EZ Docks for our new jet skis. Not only was Joe a great help in installing the docks at our house within only a few days of meeting him, he also let us bring our jet skis over to the shop to look them over to make sure they were a good purchase. After purchasing the docks, we had Joe give both of our jet skis a full service and they have been running like a dream ever since. I am on the north end of LBI and was working with an island dealer. When the dealer insisted I needed a full engine rebuild or replacement on a lightly used and well maintained ski, I Googled and found Jet Medix for a second opinion. Joe at Jet Medix diagnosed, fully explained and repaired the ski for a fraction of the dealers proposed solution. It has run perfect since. They have earned all my business including annual winterizing and commissioning at my home on the island.

What a great place! I have used them in the past and they were always professional and delivered on time. I haven’t had to use them in a few years but ran into a pretty big problem recently. I received great service when I brought my wave runner in for repair.The service was timely and the cost was reasonable. I was particularly impressed when the owner, Joe Surdi, called me to give me a detailed report of what work was done. I am now a committed customer.

I spoke with Joe over the phone about an issue I was having with my 2005 Yamaha. He gave me a verbal diagnosis over the phone and told me to bring it in over the weekend for him to repair. I brought the jet ski to him on Saturday and he listened to the engine and gave me a diagnosis and a quote. I told him there was no rush and we were told it would probably take a few days. I received a call later that same day that the jet ski was ready! Joe knew that we were anxious to get out on the water and my son was able to spend some time riding it that Saturday. We did run into an issue with the ski later in the day. I texted Joe early Sunday morning just to let him know. Not only did Joe return my call (when the shop was closed for business) but he personally came to my house that day and spent several hours taking care of the problem. We were able to spend the rest of the day on Sunday riding thanks to Joe. Great customer service and I would absolutely recommend Joe and Jet Medix to anybody who needs a jet ski repair. I own a home in Manahawkin NJ and have been using Jet Medix now for a couple of years to take care of my 2 jet skis. They are a Sea-Doo and a Yamaha. Joe is honest, reliable and very reasonable. He is a mobile mechanic so he comes to my house, takes care of the skis and gives me great advice. He and his team are a pleasure to deal with and extremely convenient. I have worked with other mechanics that are not reliable, overcharge or of poor quality. I am happy to have found them to maintain my toys!!

I first met Joe last December when I was looking for a jet ski as a Christmas gift for my kids. Joe explained what he believed was wrong with the ski and he and his mechanics proceeded to work on it night and day to make it right. Ive been around long enough to know stuff happens. When it does, its nice to know there are people that will honor their word and help make things right. I would highly recommend this reputable crew to all of my friends and family. I never write reviews but I feel that Jet Medix deserves one.I Would never think of buying a jet ski or getting one serviced anywhere else. New to the jet ski scene and I wanted someone I could trust to put me on a ski that was reliable and a place that wouldnt take advantage of someone who was a novice. I got more than I could have even asked for with Jet Medix. Joe is a genuine guy and I can tell hes in the business just because he loves it. Hes not there to make a quick buck on you, hell listen to your needs or problems and get them fixed immediately. I bought two jet skis. One from Jet Medix and one from a private seller. I had a minor problem with the ski from the other guy and Joe sent a tech out for dockside service that afternoon and fixed the problem. I strongly recommend this place to anyone who wants to buy/sell or maintain their jet ski. I know I wont be going anywhere else.

There are so few suppliers or service providers where you can genuinely say, they spend your money like its their own...but I can say that about Jet Medix. He actually takes pride in bringing in a job for less than the estimate! Who does that anymore!!!I am old enough to remember when gas station service not only included filing your tank with fuel, but washing the windows, checking the oil, and even the tire pressure was included....and you werent even expected to tip! The owner Joe is the man! Extremely knowledgeable on all manufacturers of wave runners and jet skis. I brought my 2005 Kawasaki JS 800 stand up to him with a problem that the local competition and dealer could not figure out as its a 2 stroke machine and very few fix them today. Joe knocked it out in one shot.

Cant tell you how pleased I am with the service from Joe at Jet Medix. My 99 760XL wouldnt start and I was told by two other shops to junk it and move on. A local dealer recommended Joe from Jet Medix who took one look at it, smiled, and said he could fix it. Turns out, there was no compression, a complete failure with rings scoring the pistons. Joe completely rebuilt my ski and sent me pictures every step of the way. Long story short, ski runs great and my kids have a smile on their faces. This is not just a job for this guy, but obviously a passion. I highly recommend Joe from Jet Medix!

I contacted company via web and phone message. I followed up on a Tuesday and someone explained they were busy and would call back. I waited a week and followed up with a phone call. The person stated that they were trying to clear out some jet skis and that is why they did not call back. I explained that I was not in a rush but wanted an idea of how long of a wait. The response was I have to talk to the owner and get back to you... Several weeks later no response... Took it somewhere else and the company stated you may have to wait a week or so for someone to look at it... Thanks that is how a business should run! 1 star is too much for a company that will not respond to several phone call requests and then calling back with excuses! AVOID THEM!!!

I highly recommend Jet Medix, they are the most professional, honest and knowledgeable company around. The owner is enthusiastic and passionate about his work, willing to take on any challenge. I would never think of going anywhere else!

I can tell you that if you were as quick as responding to inquires about winterization as you are about reviews I would of given you more stars but as of now I still have not been responded to about our jet ski winterization and its been over a week. Never mind. Haha you would flag me as inappropriate. Get a better business model. 😂😂😂

I have a 2005 Yamaha FX HO in great overall shape but needed some work. Local repair guy wouldnt even return my call so found Joe and Jet Medix online and called. Julie answered on 3rd ring and spent next 15 minutes talking with me about my ski issues. This was early July and they were swamped but I got a call back in less than a week to schedule drop off, they were about 15 miles from my home. My ski had several issues that Joe and team diagnosed right away and I got a call 6 pm that night that ski was ready for pickup!!! Now thats customer service, Im a brand new customer and still received instant turn around, I could not be happier. Ski now purrs again and have put many hours on her since pickup. Joe is a great guy and runs an efficient top notch shop with many parts waiting in inventory with a great location right off Route 37. If you have a problem with Joe and his team than you are the problem as I am now a customer for life. Thanks everyone at Jet Medix!!!!

I brought in my 1999 Kawi wave runner to Jet Medix in February. Didnt know what was wrong, it stopped working last fall. Joe figured out it was a bad piston, among a few other things. This wasnt a quick fix job. He had my ski for a few months. Off season anyway. He took his time and did it right. My baby purrs again and runs as if it was brand new. Thankx Jet Medix for a job well done!

Rude and arrogant! After 30 seconds on the phone I know he was too much of a jerk to do business with.Im not complaining about anything other than his rude and obnoxious attitude! Flat out insults his potential customer for paying too much than leaves a voicemail cursing and calling me an idiot. I will be posting it so everyone can hear how this guy treats people.Writes not even a customer yet lol hysterical. No chance on EVER being one either. I would never give a jerk like this my money. He may be a good mechanic but that doesnt make him a good business man or person. People would be wise to spend their hard earned money elsewhere!

Been using jetmedix for years. Joe keeps a organized and clean facility. Very cool guy always does the work quickly for a fair price. Good quality work and I will continue using jetmedix in the future.

I purchased a 06 Yamaha HO Waverunner from the owner Joe. Purchasing the ski in January of 2017, I didnt get to see it or start it before I bought it because it was winterized and shrink wrapped. But having all my jet ski work done there for the past 3 years I knew I was in good hands. Joe promised to do all the maintenance on it before it was given to me. It is now beginning of July and we couldnt be happier. We picked it up in late May and seeing it for the first time I knew I got a good deal. The ski was easily worth $1000-$1500 more than what I paid. We dropped it in the water and I was amazed that the 10 year old ski started right up, was very quiet and ran like a brand new ski. Being a Sea Doo guy with 2 stroke motors for the past 3 years I was a little hesitant on switching to a 4 stroke motor. Joe talked me into it and I couldnt be happier. My overall experience was exceptional. Joe went over every detail of the ski with me, he made sure everything was perfect before I picked it up and was very helpful in dropping my ski in the water.Do you want to deal with a top notch ski expert? Go to Jet Medix. I have been to other ski shops that just make you wait, try to rip you off and dont care if you get stuck out on the water. Not Joe, he makes it his personal responsibility to make sure you are safe on the water and you dont pay through the nose for service and preventative maintenance.

Can not tell you what the service is like because they said they would come 4 different days, NO SHOW on all 4 days no call backs to apologize or reschedule. When I called the lady answering the phone said “oh I am sorry” rescheduled it and again no show. Meanwhile I could have had service done elsewhere but cancelled it figuring this would be a lot easier since they came out to my dock rather than having to tow the jet ski, not too mention potential damage to my jet ski from not having the issue addressed right away. Great concept, too bad they have no respect for their business, or customers.Addressing the owners response this was not a yearly service call but rather damage related to water going in the engine compartment for which time is an issue which even the owner stated.Second if you consider that someone is overly demanding because you chose to give 4 different dates and did not show on all four dates or call you should not be in business. Immediate response is a false advertisement.
