BUYER BEWARE!!!!!Long review but may be worth it for you to read! If you don’t call, you won’t get a call with updates on the status of your furniture! I called every month to check in on my order. Sometimes they would answer and state they have a customer in store and would call me back and they wouldn’t, causing me to call them yet again. I felt at times they would be short with me also. Customer service is HORRIBLE! I finally received my couch that I’ve been waiting on since 12/20/20, today 10/4/21 so almost a year I waited. I can’t say that I will ever purchase from this business again! It’s one thing to say delays are due to COVID but customer service should be better. I know other people who have ordered furniture after me and received there’s before me. They even ordered from local “mom and pop” furniture stores and would be called and given updates. Also keep in mind, you can’t get a refund but can pick something else that is in stock, but who wants something different from the set they ordered? The whole thing is and was a headache. I will say the delivery guys were helpful.

Was not happy with the customer service. I was shopping around for living room furniture and decided to check them out.. had questions and noticed a guy at the front of the store sitting at a desk. No other associates were around so I said excuse me to the guy who had his head in his phone. No answer and repeated myself, excuse me can you answer some questions for me. No response. I said to myself this man is either deaf or just didn’t want my business. He never looked up from the phone. After three attempts to get this man’s attention I just left. Poor customer service and will never go back there again.

We ordered a recliner on 1-28-21. They took the money out of the account 2 business days later. Now, 3 weeks later, we still have no recliner, no estimated date of arrival, and no money. We have tried calling and emailing 9 different times, just trying to cancel the order and get our money back.

I just ordered a couch a few days ago and been calling all morning because we have heard anyhting about are couch they dont knkw how to answer their phones

Bob was the one who sold me my bed and I love it. The problem is when the bed was supposed to be delivered, the credit person delivered it but forgot the mattress cover and laughed it off and said I would have to go get it. That is pathetic service and credit manager is not personable at all.

Felt like I had bugs on me just walking in this place, very dirty, and the employees have a creeper vibe.

I needed a bed and couch overnight and they made sure to work with me to get what I needed at a fair price. My furniture was on time next day as promised. Great selection as well. Will definitely be back. 👌

Hands down the best customer service I have gotten at any place. If I could give 10 stars I would. Bob (I believe was his name) took his time, didnt rush me, gave honest opinions on what he liked and disliked about certain pieces. We even talked about the good ole days. Just a very pleasant experience. If you want quality furniture at unbeatable prices, this is the place.

Poor communication on delivery time. And was told since my dad had surgery they would bring it up to the door upstairs at the apartment. First they parked and unload the couches off the truck in the front of the apartment complex when it was in the back second the fat guy who was the driver didnt leave the truck and his help claimed to have back problems so he only helped carrying it to the back. So my dad who recently had surgery and I had to help get the couches up the stairs and into his apartment. Suggested to my dad to Never use this company again

Friendly staff. Nice ouility furniture but there prices are way to high. There financing rates are a joke and there time to pay is only 1 year. Go to rent a center get a better deal

Looks can be deceiving. This place is alot bigger than it looks on the outside. They have a great selection of furniture and they even carry some appliances and cabinets.

I went on their website, they have a loveseat sofa priced at a hundred dollars more than the listed price on the Ashley website. That is complete ridiculousness. Sold my mom a couch, told her it was way cheaper to get it from them than it would have been to go through Ashley.. she looked it up on the Ashley store, it was maybe 7 bucks cheaper.. if that. Dont get scammed. Just go to Ashley.

If I could give a minus in stars I would. I went to get myself a bed. Didnt realize they signed me up for another credit card until the bank called me after hours to get more info. I went back the next day and everyone was sick and couldnt help me to cancel the bed. So I went back the next day and they said the owner Jeff Payne was the only one that could do that and he was gone out of town. I said look I know you only have so long to cancel agreements. So they got him on the phone for me. I told him what was going on. I want to cancel the agreement. He promised it would be taken care of. 3 weeks later the bank called me. Asked me to schedule a payment. I told them what wsd going on. The bank explained they sent Kansas Furniture Mart the money and then I pay the bank. They said since I went to the store and never received the furniture that Kansas Furniture Mart is supposed to send them back their money. Another month has gone by. They still havent sent them back the money. Jeff Payne wont take my calls or call me back. So far as of today (1/25/2019). He wont call me and has not sent the bank back their money. The bank called me again and had now filed a grievence against Kansas Furniture Mart. It shouldnt have come to this. This is the first review I have ever wrote. So beware of this shady men. Theyve ruined a company that could have a had a good review or even have future customers. (Im also wondering if they have a bunch of fake reviews. When I was in the store there was never customers or dissatisfied ones)Update 1/26/2019Synchrony Bank sent me a letter today saying that theyve filed a dispute against them. In the mean time they still want me to make payments to them for something I dont have and never have had. Plus they wont charge me a late few but I still need to at least pay finance charges. What.... I dont have the product never had they needed to order it even because the didnt have it. So we got two companies trying to screw people over. Plus its going to take up to 60 days for a decision. Well there ya go Jeff Payne knows that so why not keep the money in his pocket until he has to pay it back. People please dont do business with these people. These are the kind that make our honest home businesses take a bad wrap and dont stay in business. Im not really sure why a bank needs to dispute this. I dont have the product. Rule against Kansas Furniture Mart. Make them send the money back to them. Leave me alone. Ill never do business with either one again. Jeff Payne needs to be replaced with a real store manager. Ill let you all know what happens when I find out. I came in the next day to cancel it. Yes I miss understood that I was getting a credit card. That really has nothing to do with the way you treated me by not answering my phone calls or returning them at all. I went into the store to see you and your staff would always come back saying you was always unavailable. This whole thing should have been avoided by you returning the banks money immediately. Take responsibility for your actions. I hope you treat your future customers better than me!

You dont have to pay and arm or leg for the Furniture or Appliances and Lots of Beds . They have reasonable prices.

The gentleman that helped my husband and father in law was rude, and told them oh, you dont want that one when my husband already knew which mattress he wanted to get for us. I think that he was trying to sell us a higher price mattress because he works on commission, and that is not right to do to people, especially people who are on a budget!!

We ordered a dresser and a recliner on January 6, 2018. They told us that it would 3-5 weeks for them to get them in. After 7 weeks I called and was told that the dresser had been backed order and they would call me when it came in. After 10 weeks I called my credit card company to have them file a dispute and get my money refunded. They got in touch with AFTER they received the letter. Will never do business with them again!!!!
