First time using service department. Shuttle to/from downtown for work made it easy. Service guys were excellent and found the issue fast. They took care of it and didn’t charge me, which was unexpected as it turned out not to be a warranty item. Very satisfied with them and appreciated the text updates for scheduling and car status. They called to let me know it was done, what they found, and what they did to fix the issue. Totally satisfied!
It was an awesome experience. Howard Cherry immediately met us as soon as we entered the lot. He was very personable and knew everything about the vehicle we wanted to purchase. He not only showed us all of the features on the vehicle but had us actually do it ourselves. Very patient with us. He offered to answer any questions we had in the future and also have us come back into the dealership if we needed any hands on instruction. Laird Noller Hyundai has an awesome service department. I usually book on line and can get in within a day or two. I always choose Raymond Wockenfuss as my technician. From my first encounter with him his knowledge, professionalism, and welcoming personality were evident. His honesty is almost unheard of in the industry. I know I never pay for anything that isnt necessary and I am always given all information to make informed decisions about the care of my vehicle which I purchased from this dealership 9 years ago. (Howard Cherry was my salesman and he showed these qualities as well.) A free shuttle service to and from the appointment is provided or you may enjoy an inviting waiting room stocked with complimentary bottled water, coffee, and cappuccino. So the service was good. The reminders, getting it set up no issues. This was the first service from being brand new with 8000 miles. The fluids should have all be topped off according to the maintenance program that came with the brand new car. I believe everything was topped off except the windshield wiper fluid. The low fluid light came on so I filled it myself. It is not a huge deal but if you’re following a check list makes you wonder if it is actually followed. Thank you.

I went in for a key fob and an oil change and tire rotation. From get go waited awhile just to get checked in.Then they informed me I need a full engine flush and filter change with out looking at my vehicle. I politely said no thanks. But he was insistent on it asked me 3 times. Tried to scare me in to spending another close to 700.00 $ that wasnt needed. Was waiting about 30 min. Guy came back then in formed me they checked my car and cant rotate my tire because I have bubbles in both my front tires. Then quoted me 500.00$ to fix problem. Then waited another 30 minutes. He came back again and this time it was my brakes. Then quoted me 1000.00$ for new brakes and routers. By this time my blood pressure was up & I was not happy at all. Then waited for another 1hr and half. He comes back & tells me he found another key fob that would work for 100.00$ cheaper. So I sad fine. He came back 30 minutes later said it wouldnt work. Now I have to buy 2 key fobs instead of one for 120.00$ a pop plus programing at 70.00$ I told him no Im good. Needless to say I was quoted cloose to 2,500$ of work they said needed to be done. If you are a female DONT GO TO THIS PLACE PLEASE !!!! They take advantage of females. They scare you & tell you all these things that are wrong with your vehicle to get you to pay outrageous prices & ridiculous labor prices. Then I was so heated by the time this was all said & done. All that got done was an oil change. That thank fully I got for free because of all the pressure & stress. Thankful Im mechanically inclined to know better. RIDICULOUS!!!! Then the guy had the nerve to tell me your going to get a survey he would appreciate a 5 star review. Yea right I was just glad to get out of there & run far away. I wont be back unless absolutely necessary.
Beware! They do break the engines. I moved here from other states. My first time my car engines breakdown cause they mechanic did? Not same other my mechanic. My car was great travel and no problem the engines when I arrive liard noller my first time the service this location for needed change oil. Few weeks later engines breakdown. I just puzzle. My car never happened before. They did break my engines. No ride for 3 months and no loan rent car. I notice they have a lot parking cars. When I back to my old home in other state and my mechanic check my car they said possible LIARd Noller mechanic did put a water in the engines cause problem and they looking fouled want a money rip off. I don’t trust them. Stars zero!
I came into Topeka for a wedding when my Sonata started having some sort of electronic issues. It was late in the day, however Raymond was attentive to my travel needs & had my car up and running so that I had a pc of mind when traveling back home. Im sure I will not be going back here. Even though they gave me my oil change for free it took me asking questions after waiting two hours why it was taking so long. I guess there was a recall I was never informed about.
I left my cell phone number so I could be reached. Imagine my disappointment when I arrived home and found a message of a service need. When advised of the need when I picked up my vehicle, I was not inclined to take the additional time for the recommended additional service.Additionally, when I got into my car, my seat had a plastic cover and paper floor mat which I discarded when I stopped at another business.I mention these things because, these are items addressed in the larger dealerships in larger metro areas.

Great maintenance team went in for my first service on my 2021 pallisade I live 90 miles south of the dealer. I had my brother and his wife with my wife and myself. They gave us a loaner to go to lunch I will return to this dealership for all my updates and service on my vehicle . Also we are very happy with our Pallisade.

We are from Des Moines area. Found a late model used vehicle at LairdNoller that met our needs. They made it very easy to work with remotely. The vehicle was priced very competitively which is part of the reason wepurchased from them. The vehicle was prepped very well and looked brand new and had a full tank of gas. They had all the paperwork ready when we got there to help us get back on the road home. Overall a good buying experience.
Laird-Noller Hyundai Topeka redeemed my opinion of Hyundai after the screw-up we experienced at Flint-Hills Manhattan. Love my Kona, and salesperson Howard Cherry was straight forward, helpful, and just great to work with.
I have never had a service experience worse than this. I have owned 2 Elantras (currently a 2016), and loved both. I drive about 35K miles/year, so reliability is very important to me. Their reliability is unquestioned in my opinion, and Hyundais reactions to problems is apparent. Here is why I am so unhappy with Noller Hyundai. I had received notice of a class- action suit involving certain Hyundai engines developing a piston clap that lead to engine failure, but at that time had no indication of that issue in my vehicle. However, a short time later (less than a month) there was an extreme cold spell where I live, and suddenly my check engine light came on. I took it to my usual mechanic, and let him know the indicator had been on the day before, but hadnt stayed on this 2nd day. I also informed him about this piston clap issue and asked his advice. He suggested that because it was perhaps related I should take it to the dealership to be dealt with. I went to Noller and was told is was an oil pressure issue and it would require repair (about $300) but that it was safe to drive until I could get time to repair it. I made an appt to bring it back 3 days later. When I took it back, after 90 minutes I was told I needed a new engine. ($6000) I asked if it was potentially related to the piston clap problem and was told it was not. Needless to say, I was very unhappy. But, the service to told me that because I was a loyal Hyundai owner and had taken his care of my car mechanically, he would contact Hyundai to see if they would agree to pay part of the repair cost. Hyundai agreed to pay 75%. The service rep. indicated that he would order the parts and the work would start ASAP and would most likely take 7-10 days. The dealership contacted a local car rental agency and I went to rent a vehicle. After 8 days I returned the rental and waited for a call to tell me my repairs were completed. No call. Three days later, I called the dealership and was told there were some parts not available (COVID-19 demand issues) and he didnt have a time line. So I contacted a friend to borrow a vehicle, because there were no rentals available anywhere in my city. After 3 more days, I received a call from the dealership indicating the parts would be available in approximately 10 days, received 4 days after that, and within a week of those parts being received, my car would be repaired. After 15 days, I again contacted the dealership, and was told the parts were still not available! I went to the dealership to let them know I needed a loaner vehicle, because I dont have other members in my household or relatives in town that I could borrow a vehicle from, and there were none available to rent. To their defense, I was given a loaner vehicle without restriction. My complaints are this: nearly every conversation regarding availability of parts, changes in time line, or optional arrangements for a vehicle for me to utilize, was initiated by me. There was never a suggestion that a loaner could be provided, I had to approach the dealership owner to request one. (Just a side note, a sales rep did suggest that he could sell me a new car.) Finally, after 110 days, I was contacted that my car was repaired. And the service rep, at that time indicated how urgent it was that I come retrieve my car because they had another customer who needed the loaner vehicle as soon as possible! Never again.
Jesse made this whole process super easy and speedy. I can honestly say this was the quickest weve been in and out when trading in a car for a new one. We are long time Noller Hyundai/ Laird Noller customers and will keep coming back!
Buying my 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe at Noller, in Topeka, was one of the best vehicle buying experiences I’ve had. Took my 2012 Dodge Durango in to have them troubleshoot a noise that I couldnt identify. Where it was coming from. They found the problem and fixed the issue at no charge. This is my favorite dealership in Topeka. I’ve purchased my vehicles here for many years and have used their service department for all of those years as well. They are great to work with. Most recently, I had a tire with a slow air leak. It required a new tire. There were no tires in Topeka of that size, so they ordered it from KC. The next day I received a phone call, got me in right away. They replaced the tire quickly and I was on my way. Great dealership and service department!!
Technician (Blake) replaced all 4 tires and did an oil change on my Acadia. He looked over the vehicle to let me know exactly what else needed to be kept an eye on in the future. He did a great job. Would recommend service there to anyone.

Took my 2015 Hyundai Sonata there for recommended 60,000 mile anti freeze flush and fill on 9/10/2020. After dropping off my car, received a call from Raymond asking me if I would also like to get and oil change. I told him no. Don’t want an oil change. When I picked up my car I noticed the attached sticker on my windshield indicating an Oil change was done and when the next one was due. I was not charged for an oil change on my bill. Was Only charged for the anti freeze service. Since the sticker was on my windshield, I popped the hood to check my oil to see if the oil was new. When I checked the dip stick my oil level was not new and very low below the L (low) line. I went back and asked Raymond if an oil change was started, and not finished, was the reason my oil level was low? He said absolutely not sir. I was also asked if I would like to get a new battery since my cold cranking amps were only 400 and should be 800. I said no. After leaving Hyundai service, I drove to another service location and asked them to test my battery. They said my battery was fine and did not need to be replaced. So some questions I have:1. Why call me and ask me if I want an oil change when one was not needed?2. Why was the oil change sticker put on my car indicating and oil change had been performed?3. Why was my oil level below the L (Low) level). Was an oil change started and not completed?4. Why was I told I needed a new battery when I did not need one?My level of trust has been somewhat compromised at this service facility.
Service was quick. Waiting area was clean and uncrowded. No upsetting. Vehicle was sanitized when work was completed. Service Advisor was knowledgeable and competent. Great all around experience.
The service guy that I dealt with, Travis was awesome. However, a job that would have taken a day back home took almost a week. My car had about 100 extra miles on, the interior was left a wreck and the contents of storage areas were emptied onto the floor and seats including a coffee cup upside down in the seat, thank goodness the coffee had dried. It seemed like they were just hunting and pecking. I was given one price and then after applying the warranty they added on some totals to make up.The only reason I went here is because we were stuck visiting and no where else to go. We were to leave on Sunday to get kids home for school but instead left on Thursday, took the car there the previous Friday and took at least 2 days each time they needed a new part.
Dont know the mechanics name, but he was excellent. I highly recommend.
My son bought a new Elantra from Noller a few years ago. Turns out there is a known problem with the engines in that car where they leak oil into a part of the engine that should not have oil in it! They are going to fix it for free. They have had his car since last week. They hinted that they could get him a loaner car. Guess what? No cars available to loan out in that big car lot. Oh and the part still isnt available. When will it be in. No one seems to know. In my family, we call that BAD customer service. Im looking for a new Mazda. Guess I will go to KC.

Bought an Elantra last year. Been a good car. Check engine light came on and it started running a bit rough. Called service department and they got me in early the next morning and had the car fixed very quickly. Always friendly and helpful. Shop staff was all wearing masks masks to help with the whole pandemic thing. Very pleased as always.

I brought my car in at the time I had scheduled my appointment for.I had someone pick me, the person did not ask me for a time to pick up the car.I called at 12:30, as I dropped my car off at 8:30, and asked if it was done yet, I was told it had not even been taken back yet to be serviced, I asked why not and was told that at one point they had 9 to 10 people waiting on their cars to be serviced, I was very upset, and said I had made a appointment and shouldnt my car have been serviced before them and was told no because I had someone pick me up.My car was not done until 2:30!!!All that was being done was a oil change and a recall part.
