I love this place and their customer service! Wrecked my car and my sub and amp were stolen out of the trunk in the parking lot of the auto body shop. Was able to get replacements with an upgraded amp for same price. They also threw in all the wiring I needed for no additional cost. Top of the line service and products!

I very rarely write reviews but I am so thrilled with the outstanding customer service and workmanship we received from Autosound-Topeka, KS. My husband took our new yard gator in to Autosound for a stereo and right away, Mark greeted him as a long-time friend. After discussing various options, the plan was set and a time for pick-up was made. The installation was completed by Brandon (sp?) and WOW! I consider the Autosound crews attention to detail, including functionality and appearance to be second to none. The pick-up schedule was on time and we are BEYOND excited to get out and scoot around the yard going about our chores now. Marc and his crew over at Autosound are very knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Any time i go into the store, I find at least one, if not two extremely nice guys willing to help me out, and answer any questions I have. They have even helped me with knowledge on stuff that they didnt sell. Any time I go into Autosound, I feel extremely welcome. Go check em out for all your aftermarket electrical needs, from subs and speakers, head units, back up cams, remote starts and car alarms. And much more. They do trucks, cars, off road vehicles, motorcycles, and boats. Great guys, and would recomend them any time.

My nephew brought me here to get a remote start put in my car so that I wouldn’t have to brave the Kansas winds and winter scraping ice. The guys did a great job and had me in and out in the time it took us to eat lunch next door. They explained everything and were patient with my questions. I highly recommend them. Kudos to them and to my nephew Clay for taking me there.

They went above and beyond and helped get my truck started after I had issues with my battery after they put in a new head unit and speakers a week after the fact. Talk to mark when you go, best prices around. They did amazing work on my truck! I will go back to them without a doubt!

Ive been doing business with Autosound for 20 years. Never had any problems. Staff has changed over the years. But they have always been very knowledgeable and friendly. Owner is the nicest most up beat guy I know lol. You can tell he really enjoys his job. AUTOSOUNDSo I had my system installed by them about 6 months ago. Shortly after my amp blew ☹️ we bought a new one which they installed for free. Just the other day my sub blew...I went in to see what might have caused it. Not only did they pull my car in the second I walked in (without an appointment) but when I said I didn’t have the funds to buy a new $200 sub..he informed me I did...because he was going to take care of it 100% for free.Never will I take my car to an audio shop other that Autosound. They always greet me with a smile and treat me like family.Please go see them!

Mark quoted one price then when he said he needed to charge more. I explained he needed to talk to my husband, so I got him on my cell phone. The owner got on my phone to talk then threw my phone onto the counter at me. He didnt try to talk about anything with my husband. Then I tried to hand him a credit card when he said we dont take discover! (very rude) and threw it onto the counter; towards me. I was never rude, I never argued about what he was saying. Just asked that he talked to my husband (the person he had set everything up with). I would expect better customer service from a business. I will never go back and will never recommend to anyone else. Terrible customer service!

Very poor customer service. Went in two weeks ago to pick out a new stereo for my daughter’s birthday. Everything was entered into the computer and saved. Went back a week later and scheduled the install. Got there today (drove into Topeka from out of town) and they didn’t have the equipment needed to do the install. Owner was incredibly RUDE to me and didn’t apologize at all for the inconvenience he caused. We went to a competitor who was able to take care of the install same day. Will definitely never go back to AutoSound.

A true car audio shop. Hard to find these days. They do great install work and will be honest about ur options. Best of all, just a good group of people too. Oh ya, and they sell JL Audio👍👍

Great service. I drove about a hr because the local shops were substantially more expensive. To be honest I had such a good experience with Mark and his crew that even if he was more expensive (which he was not he was about 20% lower) I would of went down there. Class act. Ive been going through mark at autosound since high school, and every customer of mine that needs work done is sent directly to him. As a car salesman its nice to know and trust that my customers are always very well taken care of by Mark and the staff.

So, mixed experience. The guys are all super nice and friendly. They told me $180 subwoofer install, and I asked about a head unit that I paid crutchfield to pre-wire, and got everything else I needed from them and was a plug-n-play deal, whoever was on the phone claimed “Yeah no problem man, just a small fee, we got you.” But ended up charging me a full $110 install at the start of service.They did end up having issues, crutchfield having not sent anything for the backup camera (this is where I felt deceived, as they charged me the $110 before anything, when they told me it wasn’t going to be much.) But all it ended up being was a $20 harness that they tried and overlooked the first time, and come around the second day (when they meant to send it back) ended up being the fix.They did a good job. Install looks clean. Good position of the mic, and bass adjustment. But... I noticed on the grill of the sub, there seems to be a small dimple? Like they bumped the subwoofer enclosure against something—but they never mentioned it to me. I mean accidents happen but they should still let me know. I think 3/5 stars is modest.

Good, quality work. I have to say it detracted a bit when I was given a quote, only to have it nearly doubled when I showed up for my appointment, but other than that Ive had no problems with Autosound.

Sorry Scott! My previous review was supposed to be for cartoyz. Not autosound! I havent been in in over a year because the subs I purchased from you guys are great!!! Still going strong! Had a great experience here mark and Scott always willing to help out. Definitely recommend autosound expessilly if you have the crazy idea of going to cartoyz. Go an check out there clearance table always seem to have great deals on it. Plus why your there you can preview all of the mids they have for sell. Authorized kicker dealer! I got 2 15sl7 amazing subs great price. Seen the have the Q class now cant wait to upgrade.

Bought a $600 radio it had lots of issues and I absolutely hate it and now Im stuck with it cause they dont do returns

Called them for a head unit replacement, my factory one had just given up. The owner got me in within 10 minutes, had my old unit out and a new JVC installed in less than 15 minutes. Price was great at under $200 for the JVC, wiring adapter, mounting kit and installation. It took me longer to order lunch that day than it took him to do this install...very fast!

Mark and his gang is well worth the drive from Wichita to get stuff set up. If anyone wants cheap low quality & questionable work go to the box stores -If you want quality -head to them on Wanamaker

Friendly professional service, I gave them the sound I wanted which was the concert feel and dear lord did they hit that right on the head....I wouldnt purchase anything from anyone else, seriously.
