I tried the cheddar sausage roll and the jalapeno cheese sausage roll. They are like a cheese brat baked in a croissant. I also bought a chocolate sprinkled cake donut and a plain blueberry cake donut. My favorite was the Thick maple glazed donut. Can you hear the angels sing, 🎶YUM🎶?They also have coffee with a variety of mixed flavors. If you are wanting a sweet-tooth carb fix. Stop by for a little taste of Paradise.

Great little donut shop that actually has a variety of donuts to choose from. I was particularly impressed with the selection that was available late in the morning. I went there around 10 a.m. and was surprised to see full racks of donuts to choose from. Most donut shops would be closed or have minimal items to choose from this late into the morning, but no paradise. The folks had fresh donuts and fresh coffee. This has become my new go to spot for coffee and donuts. The owner is awesome And very friendly just like his staff. I hope they stay in business for a long time to come.

Hands down the best donut shop in town! They can even fill your donut with creme on the spot. Their yeast donuts are fluffy and their cake donuts are like cake instead of like rock that you get from other shops. The flavors and icings are mouth watering. And the staff are absolutely lovely! Cannot recommend Paradise Donuts enough!

I visited when they first opened several years ago. I did not care for the donuts or service. I was told a few weeks back that it had new ownership so I tried it again. I was very pleased. The Donuts were very good and the owner was very nice, helpful, and outgoing. I will visit this place again. It was a much better experience this time. Glad I gave them another try. You should give them a try as well. You will not be disappointed. Try the old fashioned they are delicious.

Decided to stop by after the gym this morning (don’t you dare judge me). The doughnuts are just what I need to pack on the gains. The ladies that assisted me were kind and helpful. They have a great selection of rolls and holes. The apple fritter blew my mind. The sliced, tender and sweet apples tasted as if they were peeled this morning. But I couldn’t stop there.. got myself a half dozen (1 pumpkin, 1 blueberry, 1 chocolate w/ peanut butter and nuts, and blueberry and lemon and 2 chocolate. I call myself eating all of them but made it to 3 of 7. These things are filling. I first learned of Paradise Doughnuts through a local paper. I was please to see they are black owned and could not wait to support. I will be back!! Thank you for the service and great treats.

The staff was patient with my indecisiveness & answered questions with ease. Wound up with a fried cinnamon roll. It was delicious.

Service was pretty slow for lunch. Im guessing they do most of their business during breakfast times. The Philly Cheese steak sandwich was excellent. And their fries are crinkled and crispy. Overall not a bad little lunch spot.

Heavenly doughnuts and long johns. I particularly like the maple frosting. The wonderful taste stayed with us for hours and we could smell the icing on our fingers. What a treat. Very friendly local minority owned and operated.

It is 11:57am. I tried to go inside to purchase donuts. They have the doors locked and a customer sitting at a table motioning that they are closed through the glass. I had heard good things about this place, this would have been my first visit. Sorry, I will not be coming back.

There is absolutely no need to go outside of Topeka for donuts since Paradise Donuts has opened up! So good! From the twists to the Bavarian cream to the apple fritters to the cinnamon rolls to the glazed donuts to the donut holes! Oh my goodness!!!

My wife worked in a neighborhood bakery for years, I know a good donut when I eat one. These donuts are the best in Topeka!

The donuts here are very good! The owner is very nice and the place is generally very clean and neat. You can grab a donut and then take it to the park nearby. Some donuts you can only get one day a week though, so I recommend calling ahead and figuring out what days they have a specific donut (or you could talk to the owner in person while you order).

I honestly think that this is one of the best doughnut places in Topeka. Made fresh daily, with Toms of options. They also sell coffee. Great place to get away to if your visiting someone in the hospital for long periods of time.

Get there early for best selection. They can fill any doughnut with 3 different creams. I got a dozen assorted and 6 twist. All went in my group meeting. Friendly staff. I think they sell sandwiches in the afternoon. We will definitely be back.

Responding to a review wherein the lady said the donuts were small and there was limited selection. First of all, are you sure you went to Paradise Donuts?? These are literally the largest and best donuts in town. Seriously. I stop in here almost everyday. The selection is always limited when I stop in, also; because these donuts are fire. I dont know what is in the glaze, but it is so decadent and gooey. I specifically look for the fried cinnamon bun, which is huge, btw. Its almost always gone, but the owner always accommodates me if I ask him to hold some back for me. The place is always clean and the staff is always super friendly when they see me. I love this place

The ladie that works mornings is really nice i let her try bakers dozen donuts for free and she is a grate worker the donuts are really pricey i thank and ya there different in some ways but thay need to change there oil more often because u can taste the oil n the donuts .

Stopped here on way to Georgia as we had to stop at hospital for emergency. Was hungry so walked over and got a dozen for everyone, really good donuts. Love the red velvet ones, if Im ever thru here again would stop again. And they guy that helped us was really nice

First experience was okay. Sausage rolls are good and inexpensive. Went the second time and the young blonde cashier was rude and untrained. I started to place my latte order and she told me to wait for the people ordering donuts behind me, because they came into the shop first. Laughably bad customer service. When the owner over heard me say to the second cashier who was assisting me and apologizing for the first, he rudely interrupted her. She was diligently trying to smooth over the bad service and she was very professional. He already knew of it and seemed unconcerned, making excuses that the slow girl was new. When I told him that I wouldnt be back he shouted at me loudly in front of his regulars which must pay all his bills while they are stroking his ego.NEGATIVE THREE STARS.

Came in at 9:30 Saturday morning, so expected the selection to be low (they close before noon Saturdays) and the donuts to be old. Boy was I wrong! Yeah, selection was limited, but what they had was fresh and delicious. Glzed and maple long johns just came out fresh, and I have to say it was simply the best donuts I have had in this town (Topeka is well known for really bad food...Pizza Hut continuously is voted one of the best pizza places). Crisp outside, soft inside, perfect sugar balance. Reminds me of donuts I got as a kid in Chicago! No more Daylight or Bakers Dozen for me! Highly recommend Paradise!

This is the only donut shop in town that I get excited about. I like quality hand-crafted donuts and Paradise does a great job every visit. I highly recommend trying this place out.

Owner is rude and likes to put an act on for his friends that come in.Also has several fake reviews (posters with 1-3 reviews and usually 1-3 words followed by 5 stars) most likely himself.Also never apologizes but criticizes negative reviews.

Went there for the first time this week and I was quite impressed with their donuts. I only got two but will be going again and try not to buy the store out. Bomb diggity!

The donuts are good but the owner can have a bad attitude and a mouth. The few times Ive been in there hes talking to his friends and some of the stuff he talks about, does not show good etiquette.

They filled my donut as I watched. 3 different fillings to choose from. Boy was it good and full of vanilla pudding. Yum, pass the napkins.

Went in with an open mind, a growling belly and a ridiculous fondness for all things pastry(SUGAR) related and came out, four donuts and a frappe later, pleased as punch with both the staff and the menu.I chose the strawberry Bismarck, custom-filled when you order, assuming so the donut doesnt get soggy like its pre-filled kin, although thats just an assumption. Whatever the reason, Im on board. Custom-filled upon order is whats up with the Bismarck. The two I had were omg delish, one glazed chocolate(see what I did there? Strawberries and chocolate. In a donut. Youre welcome), the other one white, thick sugary goodness. Both donuts were the size of a large saucer, so you certainly get your moneys worth.My companion had the maple glazed option and was equally as happy as me with his selection. We also had a white chocolate frappe to wash down all that glorious, sugary perfection.The staff member assisting us this morning was courteous, knowledgeable, attentive and had our order together and presented to us quite expeditiously. I found no fault whatsoever in the exchange. The owner was there as well, greeted us when we arrived and went about his business, making and selling amazing donuts, puff pastries and gigantic cinnamon rolls.Paradise Donuts and Deli gets 5-stars from me. Im definitely going back at my earliest opportunity, have plans to work my way through the entire menu🍩🎂🍪😁

The donuts are great, the employees are good, but the manager/owner is a punk who yells at women when they point out his poor managing skills. He also uses profanity openly, so I wouldnt bring your children here.While his employee tried to smooth things over with a customer, he became enraged when ease dropping at the customer saying I wont be coming here again, due to the fact when complaining about his new employee giving bad customer service, he got upset when confronted.Also I have noticed a trend with his reviews, when someone gives him a bad review he doesnt apologize unless its to give a backhanded defense. Again I will emphasize that I categorize the manager as a punk as he does not take responsibility for his actions or his staff.Extra/edit: Originally in the owners comment he said Thank you, tell your wife helloIm guessing later on someone intelligent advised him to edit his comment. First time here with my son for a treat.This place had a very small selection and the prices were outrageous. 3 Small doughnuts later and we were over $5 less pocket money. The doughnuts are not even worth what we paid. Never paid so much for a small doughnut and never again.
