Asked for extra hot fudge and the girl working did not disappoint!

Very friendly, great place to relax and have ice cream. They even have nondairy dilly bars that were refreshing to eat.

DQ is always a special summertime treat. They were really busy. The service was fast and friendly. The patio sitting area was inviting and refreshing.

This is a classic Top City stop. Only walk-up service, which is great after dinner or to drive to or walk or bike to. Picnic table seating outdoors is great for spring and summer. Grab a sweet treat or a bag of ice and enjoy the day.

Didnt have a birthday cake flavored blizzard but the lady managed to make me 1 from scratch anyway that was awesome

The only concerns are it gets crowded in the evening, and the price moderately above baseline. Love their sundaes and cones!

I loved coming here. Its my first time going into an old fashioned Dairy Queen. Takes me back to when times were simpler. I got the same thing my grandpa always got for me growing up; a large chocolate malt. I loved it!

I dont remember this visit, but years ago I took someone here that had never been to DQ. I had to explain to the young person behind the counter what a Jack & Jill sundae was. I think I am just old. Great service. Clean.

This little Dairy Queen on Medford is a Topeka landmark. Ive been coming here reportedly before I was able to walk. Always meet people here I havent seen for years.

Its a great place to hang out. With seats in the shade its fun. However, I do have concerns about how the parlor is so close to the road. Other than that its a perfect place

Love ice cream

I love DQ. Their ice cream is the best in town. But I dont go to this location because they are skimpy. A small cone is kiddie sized, their larges and mediums have the same amount of ice cream just a different sized cone, and their Blizzards dont even go to the rim of the cup (supposed to be coming out the top). How can you serve this to me with a straight face. Avoid this location!

Whats not to like?

All the workers are friendly it may be a little pricey there but its worth it. they got the best blizzards and Shakes. And its in a nice neighborhood and drawers in a large crowd its the best Dairy Queen in Topeka. I always go for their pumpkin pie blizzards during the fall and any other time is usually a caramel Shake I highly recommend this Dairy Queen.

What can I say about an ice cream store....it is GREAT!! Located at 17th and Medford where its been since 1957.

Awesome food. Some of my favorite items are a tad pricy. Great if you get there before 4 prices go up. I would give the 5th star if you get that flamethrower down to 7.50

It REALLY sucks that cooperate jackalopes made them take down their original sign from the 70s maybe even 60s (brand consistency and all) but they couldnt take away the feel of an era gone by. Yeah, its DQ, but its carryout counter service only with outdoor seating. On a nice night, walking down with the family is the best treat of all. Ive been going to this exact Dairy Queen for almost 40 years. Okay, I just blew my own mind. Time for a large Crunch Cone!

This is a great Dairy Queen in a residential neighborhood. Theyve taken the time to add Ambience to the outside so you can sit and have your ice cream with your family or friends

Wonderful little DQ with benches and tree shade. Pleasant to just sit and enjoy. No indoor sitting or hot menu.

Best Dairy Queen in town!! Love the seats outside and the area of town is clean. One thing they are not able to control is the aa (I think its AA) group thats meets across the street.
