First let me state that we visited the Torrance store and was greeted by Scott (salesman) who was very helpful and courteous. We left without purchasing anything but promised him we’d be back later.I returned with my husband that same day and we purchased a dishwasher and a refrigerator. They were delivered as promised on Wednesday 8/4..When the delivery person opened the box there was a high dent on the side. They informed me that they would be back today (Thursday) with a new refrigerator.Today two different delivery guys showed up.The one guy began by saying I had to remove the old refrigerator. I explained to him that I paid a recycle fee to have it hauled away.He stormed out to call the office. He also showed me his paperwork that didn’t show a recycle fee being paid. I went out to the truck with my paperwork and showed him that the fee was indeed paid. He replied yea I called the office let me see your paperwork. He further stated he told his boss that appliances should be inspected before they leave the warehouse. They loaded the refrigerator back on the truck and sped off.We did not get a new delivery date, nor apology for his error regarding the recycle fee.I have emptied out my old fridge two Separate days now.I tried calling the Torrance store manager and was told he Was on our the line with a customer but that he will call me back. Well guess what he DIDN’T !!Now what ? I need my refrigerator!
WDC in Torrance should be avoided at all cost. I was told my appliance purchase included delivery and installation... the store manager Juan is not honoring what I was told by the salesman who conveniently is no longer with the company. I should have went to Pacific Sales instead....lesson learned!
Was ignored by salesman immediately after providing credit card number and billing information. Delivery of product three days after promised if it shows. Haul away old appliance was agreed to for a fee, but not put on order, so not provided. Waited 24 hours to see an invoice. Most disappointing was being ignored by salesman.
My washing machine broke and due to the pandemic, suddenly had all of my kids living at home again so needed a new one immediately. I spoke to a sales rep at WDC who very kindly helped me choose a new washing machine based on my needs and it was delivered the next day. Immediately it was clear the machine was not working properly. No matter what size the load, with every spin cycle the washing machine banged loudly and so violently that it moved halfway across the room. Because the lid locked during the cycle I had to go outside, around the house, enter the laundry room through a different door to unplug the washing machine, wait for lid to unlock then attempt to resettle the wet laundry. I called WDC and after more than a week an extremely talkative repairman showed up, using a level, forced me to watch him demonstrate that the machine was unbalanced, asked for paper so he could sketch drawings of the exact magic hed used to properly balance my washer then left. But it wasnt fixed and the banging and waking continued. I called again and another repairman showed up, this one angry, indifferent and made clear he did not want to be here. He ran the machine for three minutes, said there was nothing wrong and what did we expect him to do. We told him to leave. Several calls later I was given a number which allowed me to send video of the washing machine loudly banging and walking across the laundry room, blocking the doorway and all that was required to stop it. The third repairman watched the video, rant he machine long enough to view the same for himself then wrote on the paperwork Washed does not work how it should. Needs to be replaced. WDC wanted to send a fourth repairman to make sure it was not repairable. I let them know that they could take it to their warehouse and figure it out there. That they could either replace my washer and refund me in full and that under no circumstances was another stranger entering my house during a pandemic. At one point the customer service rep had the gall to say, well your clothes are getting clean, right?. At this point the machine has been in my house since May 7. Do NOT buy from this company.
Underwhelming experience.I attempted to purchase a more entry level washer and dryer from wdc on 2/27. The models were in stock on the website noted as available for immediate delivery. I was charged on 2/27. I received an email from the internet department on 2/27 informing me the dryer was out of stock and would be available within 4-6 weeks (!!!???) with no alternatives provided.I replied and asked if there were any alternatives available that were in stock (I wouldve asked for a similar model but at this point why bother if stuff which is in stock may actually be out of stock)The next day I was told there was an alternate model available for $100 more. The exact model was on sale that day for $27 more. I sent a screenshot asking why it would be $100 more and to cancel the order if the one I requested originally wasnt in stock by the end of the week.No response at all, so I called on the 6th to find out what was going on.Long story short, item still not in stock and the other model I asked about was on sale when I had originally asked but no offer or way to match price on what it was when I was offered the substitution. It was easy to cancel the order so 2 stars for that.Same day I go on Lowes and order a similar pair for asap delivery. I got a call later that afternoon informing me the dryer I ordered was out of stock (oh no not again) but the rep was able to secure me another (better, more expensive) similar model with a price match for the original item I ordered because the site said it was in stock.Perfect example of how to run a business and how not to run a business. One day later my washer and dryer are installed for $150 more than I would have paid at WDC with an even better dryer.Moral of the story: Dont shop here if you expect a professional experience. Maybe youll get lucky though if your products are in stock and the inventory matches whats on the website.
They have excellent deals on new appliances
Excellent, no-nonsense service. No unpleasant sales tactics or games, best prices in the area, and great selection. Will definitely return for future appliance needs.
If I could rate this place a zero I would. If you want a company to mislead you, fail to provide all details regarding the products youve purchased and get the run around every time you call for updates, WDC Kitchen and Bath is for you. We placed a large order to furnish 2 bathrooms with faucets, fixtures, toilets, etc. Thankfully, we did not order more items otherwise we still might be waiting for them. Everything we purchased was high end in price and quality. However, it took WDC over 2 months to deliver all of the items we had purchased when they first said it would take 2 to 4 weeks (at the most). Not only that, once our contractor began installing our and shower and faucets, we discovered we were missing the shower arms and drain stoppers for both bathrooms which delayed the completion of our bathrooms. Plus, we had to pay the cost to overnight them from Ferguson. The worst part of our experience with WDC was the fact that every time we called for an update, we were told the faucets would arrive next week. The next week delivery update turned into 6 weeks of misleading information. I actually received an honest delivery date when I called their Santa Barbara store for help. In retrospect, after dealing with Ferguson, I highly recommend going to them. At least they will tell you the truth, and their prices are comparable to WDC.
Very courteous, knowledgeable and professionally run appliance warehouse offering great service and delivery at VERY competitive prices. After such a positive experience I wouldnt consider any other appliance sales outlet in the South Bay of Los Angeles. These guys are awesome!! Oh, and you get complimentary bottled water and chocolate chip cookies when you visit their warehouse outlet in Torrance.
Ordered a shower system from this place and was told an important part I need to install in the shower will come in by x date. On that date, I go to pick up the part and was told they dont have the part even in their warehouse so the part I need will be in anytime soon. The sales person knew I was already delaying the remodel schedule a couple of days due to them not having this part at the store. This is really going to mess up our remodeling schedule. I can believe this is how they conduct their business. Shameful!
Sales were very knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. Delivery group worked with our timeline as we were in renovation and flexible when we needed to change delivery dates. Delivery was as schedule and calls on delivery window. Very impress.
The service is trouble the saleman are judgemental they are very very rude order product they continue to lie about arrival which i have purchase and still waiting i went to torrance store saleman didnot say a word to me because of the way i look iam a black women whats so bad the saleman were black and didnot want to service me trouble place.
This is my first time visit. I like the store and the sale person
Amazing staff, very helpful and knowledgeable. Very clean showroom.
Great selection quality to high-end. Nice sales people, will meet and beat prices - I sent a competitor’s pricing, and they beat the prices. We were referred to this store by our contractor, and bought bathroom fixtures (and a very groovy Robern illuminated mirrored cabinet) and kitchen appliances. What’s not to like?!
My wife and I needed all new appliances and decided to go to Warehouse Discount Center. We ended up buying very nice looking LG appliances and a Whirlpool portable dishwasher. The dishwasher has never worked properly from the first day we got it. It leaks all over the floor, so we call Deandre from Warehouse Discount Center to complain and see what our options were. He informed us that there was nothing he could do, so he said we could call Maytag. I couldnt believe that we had just spent more than 8000 dollars and they couldnt even exchange or repair it for us. We had to do the work to have it fixed. So now three months later and five service calls later the dishwasher still does not work and Warehouse Discount Center will not let us exchange it because they said an appliance repair man must deem the dishwasher unrepairable. What the heck.... How many times do I need some guy to come to my house and not fix my dishwasher. Those guys are never going to say its unfixable they will just order another part that wont fix the dishwasher and I will have to wait another four weeks for the next guy to not fix it. I feel that Warehouse Discount Center is completely unreliable and I suggest going to Home Depot for your appliances.
This Warehouse Discount Center in Torrance is by my hometown. I didnt know what was inside their showroom but was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the interiors were. Its a kitchen and bath showroom with a wide selection of appliances and bath fixtures. The staff were very pleasant to me and got me and helped me with any questions I had. Its perfect for anyone looking to design their home with top of the line name brand products. They even have these amazing kitchen kiosk sample kitchen displays in each of their seven showrooms Ive visited. I think the Torrance store was one of the few I saw with a circular bathtub.
After shopping at Pacific Sales I stopped at WDC to check out what they had. Needed a refrigerator. Because I could only fit a small frig in in my small kitchen I had limited options. There was nothing at Pacific Sales that fit my budget and taste. Found the perfect refrigerator for a great price plus they delivered within 3 days. Would shop there again.
We have gone to WDC for everything for our newly remodeled home. We bought all of our kitchen appliances, all of our plumbing fixtures, sinks, bathtub - their knowledge is unsurpassed and they are so friendly and easy to work with. Would not make a purchase anywhere else.
Tess was wonderful, funny, kind and helpful in a complicated exchange that was entirely my fault for buying the wrong item in the first place! Great customer service.
Horrible company and the worst customer service!!! Purchased a whole set of kitchen appliances. Dishwasher was discontinued, but they never called to notify me. Then they said they would find a replacement but I never heard back. Then they said they would issue a credit but I’ve called 3x and still haven’t received it. They sold me a “stackable” washer/dryer designed for basketball players - the buttons are 7’ high and they refuse to take them back. Not surprising that they’ve closed a couple of locations. They’re probably going bankrupt soon.
I was really pleased with the service and courtesy of the salesman Patrick Calderón,definitely going back to buy my next appliance!
Make sure you plan well ahead. They say give it two weeks but that turns into 4-5-6 weeks to get your items. Watch out for restock fees if you change your mind on a item. Refunds are a hassle. If you are rich and have all the time in the world then this place would be ok. I appears the good reviews are from employees lol
Good store. Carmen is great. Goes the distance for the customers.
Great Experience. Lane Vernon was professional, knowledgeable about plumbing fixtures and very helpful.
Very friendly staff. Knowledgeable. I will be returning to the store in the future.
I previously thought this was a good store, but our recent experience was NOT at all good! We bought a stove from them and it was delivered with the wrong drawer and the insallers did not attach it to the wall (legally required for obvious safety reasons) - they also took the supplied brackets with them. We tried to contact everyone at WDC and left messages multiple multiple times - our sales rep, store manager, CEO, janitor - but no one would reply. Its obvious they have our money so now dont care. We are never going back! Dont subject yourself to the same headaches.
As a KITCHEN AND BATH Specialist....I refer all of my clientswho need appliances....and Plumbing fixtures to Warehouse Discount..!I can send my client in an trust that they are in Good Hands....!Or I go to Warehouse Discount with my client for the best Selection..Kitty CurcioCKBSKBBCTICKBD
Found them on an app, and was ready to purchase. They were so rude on the phone and then continued to send messages harassing me. Saying I couldn’t afford Home Depot, and that I was a joke. Please stay away from this company.
Warehouse Discount Center in Torrance is my go to vendor for everything kitchen. Love the service and the variety of selections.
Very helpful and not high pressure
First time and was a good experience. Bought several items.
We enjoyed working with Carmen
This place is pretty awesome
These guys are complete idiots I drove all the way from orange county because they told me they had a refrigerator in stock that I was looking for and when I got there they said oops sorry bro
He said it was on sale, but later there was no product, and he told me to order another model. I bought it from Bestbuy with the same model. Bestbuy resends a new product at a discounted amount, saying sorry that another product was shipped by mistake.
I went to buy a green egg BBQ grill
