Big ups to batteries+bulbs 997 in Torrance.I arrived with a failing motorcycle in the rain, and parked on the covered dry sidewalk, just in case I needed a sprint to bumpstart my bike and avoid the wheels slipping in the rain.Thanks to them, I didnt have to.Even before I told him I would make a purchase, Ron lent me his tools: Allan key set, sockets and ratchet, Phillips screwdriver, so that I could pull my bike apart and retrieve the battery. He then put a voltmeter to it so I could be sure it was the battery and not just a faulty connection on my bike: helping me identify the problem, potentially saving me money, and good for the environment too.He lit up my makeshift work area with a flashlight, easing the disassembly and reassembly, and checked in between other customers he was helping to see how it was going. He already had my motorcycle battery spec and size in stock, rare for even a motorcycle shop, and rarer still for a shop like this.When I pulled up I thought I was going to be a drag on someones workday that perhaps just wanted to kickback. But the treatment I got was much different. Rob helped me back on my feet (or bike rather) and I didnt have to bumpstart my bike in the rain again. Thanks for everything! Bike starts strong, lights are bright, and I got to catch a skate sesh with my friends right after🏍️🚶🙏

Waste of time, went to this place twice to get battery replacement for my Phone, they had to order the battery the first time because it was the wrong model number I order online through site site, the second time I came in, the battery still havent arrive, they never contacted me to let me know if the battery ever arrive, so I did not go back for the 3rd time, I decided to just order another phone, plus the reviews on their sites are fake.

Went here to get a new back cover for my very old phone & was happy they had it in stock! Left it & came back about a half hour later & my phone was ready to go! Very reasonably pricing too. Store has a large selection of batteries of all kinds & light bulbs as well. I now know where to get my special bulbs at Christmas!

Customer service at the Torrance store is great. We had to order 3 times because of some errors on our side. They stuck with us and even charged our unit for us since we are homeless in a van. Ron was super patient

I almost finished restoring a 1957 Ford Thunderbird and wanted to buy a period correct battery for this car. I live in New Zealand and this battery is not available here. So I went on line and phoned Batteries & Bulbs Torrance L.A. I talked to Ron Rothstein the manager of this store and told him what I wanted to ship a Duracell SLI29NF battery to N.Z. A search for the battery I needed MBZ 000000004039 returned a match to one at your store. I called to confirm that it would work. I then drove 40 minutes to the store only to find that it was different dimensions.

They had every battery under the Sun and known to man. I called as I was barely going to make it there before they closed. The guy working there waited for me and let me purchase even after he had closed the registers! Highly recommend.

Owner told me that they use the best glassNice guy decent service but his glass is no better and maybe worse than mostphone had A closed case on it . 2 ft from easy chair to the floor!! Broke badly it is nodifferent.Lasted 3 weeks, asked him to give me a new one at his cost he said no.Another $89Is another case of batteries plus not standing behind their products

I dropped off my truck battery that was under warranty on Sunday. I had to call on Monday to see what they found and late in the afternoon they did not have an answer and told me they would call back in 5 minutes. An hour later they called and said it was bad but they wouldnt have a replacement until Thursday. I had to call them Thursday to be told that the truck was running late and would not arrive until Friday. I finally got my battery after calling again late Friday afternoon.

Extremely disappointed with this company.I just got off the phone with the manager Ron at the torrance store. I’ve been trying to reach him for months.The situation: one year ago, I brought my 11 yo son Tyler’s iPad to them to fix because the screen was cracked. They took 3 weeks to fix it. I had to take it back twice right after it was fixed because the screen was not installed correctly and the button kept getting jammed. We left on a 3 week trip right after and on the plane, the button got jammed again. Please imagine a 3 week trip with and 11 yo without his iPad. We came back and again another 3 weeks to fix the jammed button. It jammed again 3 months later. My son got used to using my iPad because the button never seemed to be right.I week into our nation wide COVID stay at home order......BIG SURPRISE, the button jammed again. I finally reached Ron the manager and he told me:Sorry, if the button keeps getting jammed it’s the user. That’s interesting, specifically because my son has cerebral palsy. His dexterity and coordination is a bit challenged and not very strong at all. Interesting that my iPad button over the last 4 years has never been jammed by my son using it. Unfortunately, he uses mine more than his because the screen and button are an issue for him.I respectfully requested that Ron refund my money so I can take his iPad to apple which is what I should’ve done in the first place. Ron told me there was nothing he could or would do. They give a 6 month warrantee on their bad service and that’s it. My recommendation is to never take any device to this company. They need to stick to batteries.

Worst customer service. I understand its christmas eve but I was there 2:50pm and was 10 minutes until close and all I heard was they had to close by 3pm and they said they probably dont carry batteries for my Mercedes which they do. And I drove 30 miles to find a battery. Will never go there again. The employee was busy trying to process a refund and telling me to come another day instead of trying to find the correct one which would have only taken 5 minutes.
