Ordered an upgraded Macbook from them to replace my old one which they were unable to repair because I like to support small businesses and they said they would waive the $100 repair diagnostic fee, so I figured why not. They were very nice, informative, and communicative about it but after receiving it I decided I wanted to return or exchange it for something else and they wouldnt honor the return policy because it was custom ordered. They would not take it back, even with a 25% restocking fee. Not helpful and not the way the corporate Apple retail or online stores work, which usually happily accept returns within 14 days. My best bet now is to trade it in to Apple for less than half the expense despite it being BRAND NEW and a week old. Definitely will not be returning or supporting their business. Avoid purchasing from authorized resellers at all costs. Learned my lesson, next time just order it online yourself.

Clean store, courteous service. I was surprised that my computer can be repaired so quickly! Brought in my device on Friday, it should be ready by Wednesday. It would have been sooner if it werent for the holiday.

Great staff! Friendly and very patient! I came to fix my phone and had further issues I needed to resolve with Apple support first. Staff was patient with me while I was on the phone with Apple almost 45 minutes! After that was taken care of they fixed my phone right away and looks brand new! Definitely recommend!!

I was impressed with the looks of the store! I was getting a new battery for my iPhone 6s. I was told it would take two hours to complete.I’m an 78 year old man with COPD and a serious lower back pain! So I asked her if there was a place I could sit and wait. Oh no, she said. You can’t wait in the store. Covid rules. There were only myself and two employees in this fairly large store. Just give me a corner in the back room. Nope. I don’t drive. I could call Uber and get a ride home. But they would have my phone. No way to call Uber to get back to the store. Seems like they could do some accommodations for me. Anyway, left the store with my phone! Found another place that would do the job in a half hour. They are getting my business! I’ll never recommend Deviceland!

I just took my MacBook pro in for an issue with the track pad. There was no bulging or battery damage or physical damage to the laptop at all.The young lady helping me check in, tried to convince me that the entire keyboard section needed to be replaced because the track pad is not a separate piece . Luckily I had done my research and know that it infact is separate, can be sold separately and I can replace it myself, avoiding the 800$ they wanted to charge.I gave this place 2 starts because my first experience with getting an iPhone screen repaired with insurance was easy and cheap. Beware of the scam, they will get paid either way, the diagnosis is 99$ unless u complete a repair with them but the repair may be blown out of proportion.

These guys are awesome! Ive brought in multiple Macs and theyve gone above and beyond to make sure they were working right. They found solutions to problems that had the guys at the Genius Bar scratching their heads for months. So glad I found them. Great job!

Used to be a great place to go... however, now... only people with no computer knowledge and not even the simplest of listening skills... really sad that this place has changed for the absolute worst... its like 1984 is finally just like 1984... only took 35 years longer to happen... Steve would be appalled...

WHAT A RIP OFF!!! The nice young lady working the front desk did not disclose the service fees ($100) upfront. They got back to me in two days with a service quote. $229 for a battery and $100 for labor. Of course after some research, I realized I can replace the battery myself for $59. So I decline the service but they hand me a $99 fee. Im definitely doing a chargeback. Next time, please disclose your fees or post them on the wall. Never coming back again.

They are authorized by Apple but refused to look at my computer since it’s from 2010. Recommend Pacific Premier Solutions. At least they are open to diagnosing your laptop for around $45.

After reading some of the negative reviews, I was unsure of what I was getting into. However, I made an appointment with them through the Apple website of approved repair shops in the area. Every employee that I came into contact with was both friendly and helpful. After running diagnostics on my husband’s laptop within a day or so, they contacted me with how we could move forward in repairing the computer. They were kind, professional, and straightforward. Thankfully, our Apple care allowed us to get the repair done without any charge. I would highly recommend having your computer repaired here, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return for future computer related issues.

Great alternative than driving down to Manhattan Beach to the Apple store. Its also never crowded like the zoo at the Apple store. The service is great. Used them for repairs a couple of times. Only down side is they dont carry as much stock.

These guys are so good it is amazing. Don and Sahil were just quick, fast, professional, and fixed the Mac in about an HOUR! No long lines. No appointment. Apple certified. I checked, they are actually Apple Premium because of their skills.

The products sold are very good and the prices are pretty good considering theyre selling apple products. But i did notice that some workers on the floor arent very informative and u cant play with the devices any longer than 15 minutes. Other than that they repair good and for a good proce so i would recommend them.

AVOID! DO NOT BUY PRODUCTS FROM THIS STORE! Their return policy is awful - just buy from the Apple Store directly or go online. There is zero reason to buy anything from them. On top of that, customer service was awful.

They charge a $99 fee just to diagnose the issue. They’ll waive the fee if you choose to repair the device with them but it just seems like a way to force you into using them for the repair.

I went to go fix my macbook pro laptop, because my mouse was not working. I left it at the shop, and later that day they call me back saying that the diagnostics said there was nothing wrong with it. Indeed, there was something wrong with it because I would have not taken it there in the first place. These people do not go out of there way to see what is wrong with your device. I would suggest going to Unitek Apple Store which is Santa Monica. Theyre know what they are actually doing, unlike them.

I have worked with the people at Deviceland, formerlyAdvanced Micro, for two decades. They really know Apple products because they’ve been authorized dealers/service for a very long time. They fixed the blown-out speakers (full-volume Zoom calls in a classroom) in our MacBook Pro and replaced the worn keyboard—very quickly. In the past, they have recovered data from trashed hard drives and much more. They are a great resource.

Amazing repair job on my Macbook Pro. Quick, clean, professional.Im a musician who makes -alot- of music on my laptop and needless to say, when it fell off a bench and the screen refused to work, I was at their mercy. I would have paid anything to get it back up and running! The extended device warranty I paid for actually covered the repair and turned out I didnt have to pay a dime! :D

Purchased a case and extended warranty from them for the MacBook Air that was gifted to me. The gentleman who helped me was very patient and knowledgeable, he told me everything I needed to know about my Applecare, where to go for more info, and even helped me register it! I send all my friends there now!

These guys are awesome! I went in because my iPad flashed off suddenly, and I figured that id have to leave it for a few days for repair. Instead, he got it working in less than five minutes, and didnt charge me a thing. I personally tried everything I could think of to get it working, but he was like magic!

Apple techs talk down about this place. Its a delightful store but a big pain when you have to bring your iPad back over and over because they cant fix a screen without damaging the antenna, etc. They charge you full price each time because your busy life doesnt afford you the time to bring it back before the repair guarantee runs out. The iPad is still broken despite 3 times at Advanced Micro.

At YouTube, they claimed an iPhone 4S battery replacement was three screws and a ten minute job; and when I called for a labor quote at the repair depot, they quoted me $50 for labor. So if theyre charging $300 an hour and If youre an attorney, youd make more here working here!Id say, go somewhere..anywhere..else!

Full marks to these folks for everything MacBook Pro related. Ive been going to them for years and have never been disappointed: The service department knows what theyre doing, theyve been able to diagnose problems that the Genius Bar couldnt, theyve never tried to sell me some service I didnt need, and their prices are more than fair.

This place doesnt even deserve one star. I took my I pad air in to get the screen replaced after I had cracked it a few times. When I got it back, the front camera would not work, and the screen was popping off. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

Wanted to exchange an adapter, would not give me credit because it not in resalable condition. Never used just took out of box, and returned it to the box, approx. $25 product, wanted to exchange for one with a long cord $39In the market for an Air or Macbook pro, Not at this store.

These people arent even worth one star, but in order for this to go thru, I had to select at least one. I dropped off my computer to get a hard drive replacement, My laptop had a ? when I started it. Thats all it needed done. I take it to these people. I got a call from them saying that I needed a new motherboard. Which I knew was not true, mostly because I took it to Apple first and they told me what the problem was. I got a missing hard drive prompt, which I would not have gotten if my motherboard was gone. They wanted to charge me for something I knew I did not need. I said No. I went and got my computer and mysteriously now the resolution on my screen is damaged. It wasnt before. I took them a computer with a need for new hard drive. A fix costing an approximate $150 to fix - according to the Apple Store - and they call me claiming it was a $732 fix. I went and got my computer that still needed a hard drive, but now my screens resolution is damaged and my trackpad has dead spots. Do not, I repeat DO NOT TAKE YOUR COMPUTER TO THESE PEOPLE. Im quite sure they damaged my computer.
