I love this store. Lots of selection.. Veggies & fruit are fresh and very reasonable price.But be careful. Looked what they were charging for. It happened twice to me in a different occasion. They charged me more than what it should be written on the shelf. So I told them. They voided & charged me the correct price. The cashier & assistance were polite and nice though. Overall I love this store. 👍

I have been shopping here for months and use the self check out lanes because they have many self check out machines. Usually there’s only 2 cashiers that moves extremely slow. We have never had an issue with using self check out. Today as we were beginning our self check out process a rude African American worker there went up to us asking rudely if we had less than 20 items. We were like not sure. She made us line up with the cashiers when the self check out machines were wide open. We passed by one worker that did not say anything to us when we walked up to the self check out line. A poorly placed sign that said less than 20 items. The person was very rude. Won’t be back here.

I was in the store waiting for my turn in line and there was only one check stand open, the self checkout was also available but some customers like myself buy quite a bit of groceries. The line was growing and the ladies that were at the front had a really full basket and it was maybe six (6) customers waiting, the checker was working faster than I have ever seen anyone else do. It was at least 20 minutes in before I reached the front and then another employee that I was watching, watching finally says to the only checker maybe I should open up another check stand. I spoke to the checker that was working like a machine nonstop and asked her name, she replied Cindy. Cindy is a really good employee that rose to the occasion when it got really busy and handled everything so professionally, while other employees just watched, Walmart really needs to put procedures in place to make sure that their employees don’t ever have to be put in that type of situation and of course the customers need to be able to purchase their goods in a timely manner. I gave 5 stars not to Walmart but to Cindy, thank you Cindy for keeping me coming back to the store, if it wasn’t for the few employees like you, I would take my business elsewhere.

[UPDATE]When the signs in the restroom say the employees must wash hands in warm water using soap, both soap dispensers are empty... So, what do you expect from their customers during this pandemic?9/25/2020———————It has been pretty good in terms of grocery shopping 🛒 since I started shopping here (about 2 years), but the one thing dreadful that I noticed was their check out system. They had the self-checkout lanes as well as the lanes where cashiers were actually scanning your groceries.I was and am still self checking out my groceries like many. But their system was either too old or simply plagued with glitches and bugs that made me annoyed quite a bit. Particularly the slow responses in these touch screen... Ugh 😑And then they remodeled the checkout area by upgrading with the new shiny scanning machines. Also all the lanes with the cashiers are gone, which weren’t always present at those available lanes to begin with before the remodeling anyway. Now it’s fast, like other Walmart locations (the one at the 190th and Normandy comes to mind. Of course that one is a superstore though, not a neighbor market, so I understand the difference in traffic volume) that already have had the similar setups for a while. Self-checkout isn’t an annoyance any longer here. 👍

Neighborhood Market usually has everything I need in stock and helpful employees. I especially love that its not huge and cavernous like warehouse stores, so its easy to navigate and backtrack. Smaller size reminds me of those normal stores most of us grew up with. Nice!

The management saw that Moore cashiers were needed, and had another line to open. That made me and 6 more customers very happy. Keep it up with that good common sense and you will always have customers to come right back ALWAYS!!!!!🤗😀

Clean store with some good pricing (for todays world). Produce and meats look good and most shelves are usually stocked. Fast self checkout is another benefit. Doesnt look or act like a discount store.

It’s a decent place as far as selection goes. Southard clean a store that I’ve been in. It’s clearly seen better days but it’s convenient

The service is incredible. Very polite, always helpful, and very kind. They have a corner discount stand where you can find bargains. Good selection of fruits and vegetables.

Ok for a quick stop if you only need a few staples. Only one cashier everything else is self check out. Have almost categories of food & supplies but selection is limited.

I grocery shop only at walmarts and this is one of the nicest of the bunch. Never busy, well stocked, but falls short on the cashier check out help. Still worth being the primary store I shop at

If you like good grapes when in season this is the place. Meat is always top quality but the downside is it expires in 2-3 days. Never understood why they cant stock fresher meat. Prices are good. Excellent all-around selection with friendly staff.

Kind of a janky place. It had pretty much everything we needed, but it was messy and a bit dirty. The kids who worked there seemed really apathetic, and at the self check out you need to tell them how many bags you want, as there are none at the actual check out machine.

Hey, did you know they have pharmacies at some location? I just found out after my doctor told me pharmaceuticals are cheaper here without Insurance. I got mine for 10 bucks without insurance, used to pay $35 at CVS with Insurance. Just wanted to share that.

Solidly the best deals on groceries in the area. Super well-organized and the produce was extremely fresh. All the employees seem to be in good moods and were saying hi and offering assistance. Even during the holidays I felt like they were offering exceptional service.

Usually they have so much bread in the store . As today they had no mini bagels 🙄 or french bread only frozen..

Kind of far for me to get to 45 min drive. But prices are worth the drive,on vitamins probiotics, toilet paper,and vegetables.

It is good, it is a walmart, it has fresh stuff and your usual grocery store stuff. it also has some walmart shopping stuff, no clothes, but other goods. i just have to recommend the carmel crumble apple pie, it is very very good and resonabley priced three and a half bucks.

It is good place you can find almost anything

I was looking for crab legs and they had them in stock, but I needed 3 bags and the store associate checked to see if more were delivered and then went to the back to get what I needed. So now making this one of two of my favorite locations. So Torrance super market and South Gate super store are my go to Walmarts

They had frozen hatch chilies that I could not find anywhere else. Jalapeno cornbread was delicious, these two ingredients along with cilantro and green onions I needed for stuffing recipe I could not have found at other store.

Found everything I needed except my buttermilk

Quick, easy self check out. Friendly associates,although very busy with restocking duties,were very friendly and welcoming.

Lately, every time I go there, they have no grocery bags. Usually I woldnt be bothered by this, except, they wait until I am ready to pay to tell me this, sitting there, with $200 work of groceries waiting to be bagged, and a line of people as opposed to putting a sign out, or having the dude at the door say something, they would rather waske my 30-60 minutes of my time before telling me they have no bags.

Walmart Food Market unfortunately I didnt take any pictures at this time I like going shopping there you can pay your bills utility credit cards and your car note.... theyre getting back to somewhat normal they have toilet paper and paper towels now couple months ago the shelves were empty no toilet paper insight LOL if youre looking for a box fan you better hurry up before theyre gone they have a small produce section.... from End to to end this used to be the Old Town Mall for those who remember it.... and dont forget to wear your😷....

Diced jam was loaded in back of full hams otherwise the gals were very helpful for my hubby.

Pretty much just a grocery store, very few home goods, which is exactly what its supposed to be. Selection is okay, but overall its a small store. Employees are nice and helpful. No wait to get in on a Friday afternoon, but there is room for a standby line so there may be a wait at busy times.

They dont carry certain products Im looking for, especially the arrowhead water.

This is a nice store with a decent sized parking lot. They are doing their best to keep up with the times by labeling the aisles on which way to go. Its not their fault that people choose to ignore the signs. Thete are exceptions such as when someone ignored the social distancing in line & the cashier asked them to move back. I will go back.

The people who work in this store are not nice and very unprofessional! I tried to complain to Jose the manager but he wont come to the phone!Go somewhere else like Ralphs down the street!

Not crowded on Fri midday... shelves are fulll. Long aisles so read your aisle sign. Selection not as large a super store. Smaller size veggie area, check out was quick but their distancing isnt really very well organized. Lots of self scan stations for the do it yourselfers.

They provide a few items that make this store a priority, but it is not a store of choice. The 1 bonus is that I can avoid the insanity at either of the other 2 behemoth size Walmarts in Torrance. Would someone please explain why 1 suburb has 3 different Walmarts?

Great prices and large selection of products, however I dont appreciate when Im being watched closely because of my skin color or having another black employee monitor me as I check out... not cool!

Better than regular walmart when it comes to fresh vegetables, frozen vegetables, frozen chicken or fish, frozen packed meals etc... also very clean and neat, not very crowded atleast when i went.

Nice Walmart but kinda small. I went in for essential necessities such as isopropyl alcohol and of course sold out.Geeeesssshhhh ! What is a person to do ? I purchased a whole bunch of other items. Cashier was extremely friendly and on top of everything.

A diamond in the rough. Great prices, everything you need, and attentive staff. During the coronavirus season, they’ve struggled to have plastic bags at the registers, but have made up for it with great staff watching out for everyone’s well-being. They recently updated the checkout are to include a majority of self-checkouts, which seems to speed everything up considerably.

I like stopping in on my way home. It never seems overcrowded and the selection is as good as any other WalMart, but more convenient.

My mom & I sometimes shop here, very convenient its part of the promenade. The store where I find the best beef patties.

This is only food and supplements location. Quite good. Very well stocked. Has small frozen vegan vegetarian section. Bakery. Conveniently located next to Marshalls, Ashley furniture, Ross and some other stores.

Always busy workers are on point on where things are.
