Well my doctor wrote me a prescription for 120 tablets but the pharmacist refused to fill it. He, an asian man, said that they were trying to get people to cut back on taking this specific medication and if I wanted the entire 120 tablets I could go somewhere else. WOW, a pharmacist overriding what I paid a doctor to advise me on. What is this world coming to?!?!?!?
I came in with a valid legitimate prescription from my doctor and the lady behind the counter had a visceral reaction to my presence . Apparently she did not like me. I dont know why. Im a good citizen. I am a white male I have good education (BA/BA/M.DIV) ( which may actually be why) but I could tell that she was searching for a way to deny my prescription . it was obvious . I remained very pleasant & polite but later she called me and said she could not fill this prescription because I was too far away from my home address (Lakewood). I told her that I have more than one residence but you can only list one on your drivers license. I was curretly living in Palos Verdes at the time for several months (this is the closest Walmart to PV) but she made up a bunch of mumbo jumbo and I just basically said goodbye. I know that she was lying to me because I previously filled my prescription at other Walmarts even in Duarte and also in Burbank, so whatever her issue was whether racism (yes, there is racism against whites, particularly white males, when the minority is the majority in southern Cal, & she was non-white,) or something else I dont know, but it was clearly not part of their policy.
