First off the staff working here are some of the most friendly and knowledgeable staff I have came across in a nursery. All the plants are very well maintained and looked after. Whether you are looking for indoor or outdoor plants Im sure that you will find it here, if not they can try and get it for you.

Staff here is very helpful and knowledgeable. Ive bought plants from the orange depot store in the past and have had pest issues. The staff here even helped me get that pest issue under control so I can enjoy plants again. The plants Ive since bought from here have never given me issue. The variety of houseplants are always beautiful, healthy, and strong from here.

I love this place... I just wish they had a dedicated section for California natives. I know I would have bought a lot more today.

Ive been to this nursery many many times. You can count on this nursery to have hard to find items such as specialized fertilizers. The staff has always been helpful and knowledgeable about the trees, shrubs, and other garden plants. When not sure, they dont hesitate to reach out to other staff to get answers which is what happened today. I purchased an Arbutus Marina in a twenty four inch wooden container which will be delivered tomorrow morning. Ive been coming to this nursery for many years and will come back. Specifically, our next trip will be to get a fountain and maybe a new umbrella...they have it all.

I absolutely love this Armstrong nursery it is one of the most nicest cleanest ones once around. You can walk around for hours and get lost its so beautiful here

This place is super nice. Its large and spacious inside and out. The decor is fantastic and the flowers 🌷 and plants are out of this world 🌍. Its a very calm and peaceful environment. Classical music is play thru out the property setting a very nice and peaceful mood. The staff is super knowledgeable and helpful.

A large and beautiful nursery with so many plants! Loved walking through here and seeing all the varieties of flowers, shrubs, and trees. Definitely a great place to find new additions for your home garden.

Pretty much the best garden center around. Im not sure if people just like working there or they get paid really well but they are super helpful and friendly. My wife even had a little cough and one of the gardening staff quickly offered a bottled water. Just so much different than the big box stores.

Not a great selection of support items for garden (soil, bark, moss, pots, fertilizer, pesticides, etc). Very small selection of unglazed pots. Sick plants, not as unhealthy looking as Homedept or Lowes, but thats not saying much. The orchid I purchased pot smelled like mold, the silver lady Pothos had some strange worm in it that had webbing all over the top soil, all of the marble queen Pothos had a pest that chewed perfect circles on the leaves (very difficult pest to deal with), many of the plants are stacked on top of each other limiting light or crushing steams/leaves of the plants around it, and plants are so close to the ground that they are heavily damaged by pedestrian traffic and carts. Ive given this store several tries and Im not sure Ill be going back. The staff is very friendly and nice, but I cant get over the state of the plants under their care, or the lack of common items such as citrus tree fertilizer!

A great atmosphere, and helpful staff. Prices can be competitive, but if you are price conscious, its worth taking the time to compair with the competition.

This is the nursery to go in the Southbay for plants that will grow in the area. I was able to find a Padron pepper plant, very unusual since it is known mostly in Spain.The people there are very knowledgeable and helpful.Yes it is a little pricy but for specific plants you normally cant find at Home Depot or Loews, youll probably find it here.

This is one of my happy places. A bit on the pricier side, but the quality of plants and knowledgeability of the staff is second to none. Just be warned, you will always leave with more than you went in to get.

Went here to get a beautiful 😍 flower/ bush that would attract hummers and was shown a Honeysuckle that was gorgeous. He also showed me how to feed it & when and with what. As I checked out the same young man asked if he could help take it to the car... great employees 👏

I had not been here in a while but I can guarantee that I will be returning soon. I purchased ladybugs & the garden personnel were more than happy to let me know exactly what to do. I wandered around looking at all the healthy plants & decided I wiuld come back at a later time for that. Everyone was so very helpful.

This is an amazing store in many ways. I have to personally commend an employee named Russell. He is extremely helpful, knowledgable, and friendly. Like honestly, working with him is one of the best customer service experiences my mom and I have ever had. And I dont just mean at this store, I mean in general!

Everyone here is very knowledgeable and can answer any question . The assortment of flowers is vast and can cover any of your gardening projects. And THEIR FLOWERS ARE GUARANTEED. They can help with your gardening problems, my roses s leaves were turning yellow a year after I bought them. I showed them a picture and knew exactly how to correct the problem and they were happy to assist.

The carts were being cleaned and there was good social distancing. I felt comfortable shopping there.

Lots of variety and helpful staff. all of my plant purchases are still alive and well, so the quality is great. Beautiful little garden to walk around, too. Waiting for their maple prices to go down a bit, but thats my only complaint. Good spot for gardeners!

Relaxing and revitalizing.

Not the best customer service. Staff too busy talking to each other. I had to interupt them to get their attention. Then the register guy rung up half of my order, had to create another receipt.

Shelves were really empty.The Disneyland lineup is ridiculous.Its a huge store and garden, you cannot enter and exit the same way, so there is lots of needless walking.

Walked around for about 15 minutes place was not busy, but seem to busy talking to each other. When I was leaving asked for a flower was told dont think we have it and the guy just walked away from me. I guess I will drive to Irvine to Rogers to get help. I have always through this place is nice, but no help at the cost charged seems to be a bit much. Sorry but Armstrongs has now lost my business. And I have always been a loyal customer, but no more. Hope Rogerss has help that is willing to assist if needed.

Carlos was very good at helping me put together the landscaping for our side yard, which took a beating during our house and patio remodeling. He listened to what I wanted and we chose the shrubs and trees together, and he advised me on which ones would do better in shade vs sun vs partial sun. They subcontract the planting, labor and soil preparation to Vistas Landscaping and Agustin was great to work with. Loved his ideas and energy, and his crew were polite and tidy. My only suggestion would be if you get a quote from Agustin to do your work, make sure you get it in writing so there are no misunderstandings!

We got our Christmas tree from here this year. They had dozens set up in the parking lot, freshly cut, and sitting in stands with water keeping them fresh. They all looked head healthy, too. The service was quick and effective, and they even wrapped the tree up and secured it to the top of our sedan! We will definitely shop here again for a Christmas tree!

Just got a christmas tree and we were in and out in less than 15 minutes. We took blankets and tie-downs and it was totally not needed. Staff took care of everything super quick and professionally (the guy helping us really knew his hitches). Super great service. Much better than the home improvement lot we went to last year.

He listened to our needs and preferences, took into consideration the weather conditions of our location, and gave us several choices for different plantings. Love going there! The flowers for my garden are more expensive here, but at least they dont die. So you get what you pay for, much better than going to Home Depot! And there are variety and selection is much better and the plants are well taken care of before you buy them.

A little pricey. They do have good 2 day sales during the week. If you are looking for a certain plant and they dont have it, they will order it for you.

We spent 1300 bucks on trees. The employees were great when we were purchasing but when we had to return one that died the process was a nightmare. The girl with the short hair at the register interrogated my wife and i like we had murdered the tree. She was loud and caused a seen in front of other customers. Before this happened we went out back to exchange the tree. So we carried it from out back and passed about 4 employees with carry carts they seen us carrying the heavy tree but ignored us and they didnt offer to help take the tree up front for us. They did not look busy. It was a bad experience. I know we probably overpaid for these trees but I didnt care, we just wanted to be treated right. We will finish doing our landscaping but we will use a garden different supplier.

Fun store! Dirt, lots of seeds, a ton of flower pots, a massive amount of live plants and flowers. Theyalso have fertilizers, root stimulators, insecticides, anti-shock liquids. Wind chimes, bird feeders, bird baths, arts and crafts, and even jams, jellies, dressings, and bath and body products! Its a treasure hunt!!

I have been here several times, when I was younger with my Grandma and now as an adult myself and the staff is great! I go in with the full disclosure of information gathering, walking out with more useful information then YouTube and a plant . . . or two . . . or three.
