Short Review: Donald at Capitol Luggage restored my fifteen year old leather shoulder briefcase to a state that could pass for brand-new. Truly, I could not believe my eyes! It made my day.And now the long version: I have a casual-type briefcase that I bought in Chicago while on music business. It has great meaning to me, both utilitarian and sentimental. I have used this bag for many years traveling all over the country, trying not to notice how worn it had become -- until I had to do something about it. Trying a list of cold numbers I came across Capitol Luggage, and took my chances. I am so lucky and glad that I did. Donald (the repair expert) was a true magician, restoring it to like new! Came for a luggage repair. Called in advance; explained I just needed a wheel replacement. They insisted they couldnt tell me over the phone whether they had the wheel in stock, even though I could describe my luggage precisely by brand and type. They insisted I had to come in so they could look at it. So I drove all the way there and navigated the difficult Towson Town Center parking etc; and then was told their luggage repair person leaves at 5pm, so they were still unable to do the replacement, tell me if they had the wheel in stock, or tell me how much it would cost. Ive now wasted over an hour on this and gotten nowhere toward this very simple repair.
