So glad we have this store in town. They are always willing to help find what we need in the store, order it or let us know when it will be in next. They guys that help to load our appliance were friendly and gentle with our over-sized box. We always hear people in town say owners are good to them too. Happy to keep this Sears in business!

I had a very good experience at the Trinidad store. My washing machine’s mother board quit, there was no replacement part and the nearest Sears department store where I purchased the item had closed. Even though I didn’t purchase the item in Trinidad, Sales associate # 1008 honored my master protection plan and replaced my washer at no charge. She was considerate, efficient and thorough. I will shop there for my future appliance needs.

I recently re located from Colorado Springs to Trinidad.My new house came with all appliances, save for a washer and dryer.I found myself at Sears Hometown Store, and was helped by Cindy M.She was very pleasant, answered all my questions, and demonstrated exceptional product knowledge and excellent customer service.The delivery guys were very professional. No gouges or marks on my walls. And they hooked up both washer, and dryer within 30 minutes.The washer and dryer are the best Ive ever owned. Cleanest whites Ive had, and great capacity for blankets, towels, and sheets.Kudos to Sears, and Cindy M. for giving this guy a great overall experience.

Trinidad Sears Hometown Store was wonderful. We needed a chest freezer as soon as possible. Nora was amazing!!! She answered all of our questions, and when she wasnt sure of an answer, she took the time to look it up. She even stayed 30 minutes after hours to help us. It was a wonderful experience!! I would recommend this store to anyone, as the associates are very kind and extremely helpful!

I try to support local businesses, especially in small towns. However I found it difficult to do that today as the lady who works here was extremely rude and unprofessional. Its no surprise to me why weve all gravitated towards online shopping: so you can circumvent those who are so unhappy with their lives that they feel they need others to be miserable as well. If you order a washer/dryer via Best Buy they will deliver and San Isabel will give you a rebate.

I ordered a stack-able washer and dryer only to get it all the way home to realize that the stacking kit needed to be ordered separately. Frustrated, I called to order one and was treated rudely by the woman who I assume is the owner. Good products but the lady is hard to deal with.

Good section for a small town but you have to buy everything separately then none of the items fit on top of that you do all install yourself. After needinf different houses because nothing fit right they couldnt help me unless I wanted to order them and wait another 2 weeks. Top all this off their sign say take home today which was a lie we had to order our washer and dry wait a week and half to pick them up at the store which the employee seem it was a huge burden to have to help is get our items our of the loading bay. I will not use Sears ever again I rather drive 2 hours to a Home Depot or pay shipping fees that way I will get my items faster and have all the right hook ups.

Sears is helping our town by keeping business local. Friendly service and staff. I would recommend Sears Hometown Store. They’re also helping Grace Christian School and First National Bank promote Safe trick-or- treating.

Looking for a new washing machine. I work the l-25 corridor from Trinidad to Boulder. The best the metro area could do was a 5 day turn around! Trinidads Sears had it stock and $70 cheaper then the Denver stores. Great deal and had it the next day!

Been there a few times. Staff is great! They always answer all my questions. Prices are competitive. Only place in town I would go for appliances.

Dont shop here if you hate rude old people who think they are better than everyone...Went to return an air compressor I didnt end up needing it was never used or anything and was going to use the money towards a new chainsaw ....so when I went in there to do the reture some old rude as hell lady tried to say it was missing parts and after realizing she was wrong didnt apologize or anything hate this store very very over priced tools for such a terrible aditude. Lose the old bag youll probably make more sales.

Unlike the big-box and catalog Sears, Hometown Stores are independent showrooms owned by Locals in mostly underserved smaller towns. Cindy was a huge help this am! We ordered a fridge online and had it delivered to the store. Unfortunately we realized the fridge was going to be too big, she helped us out with getting the refund and finding us a new fridge that will work for us!! I would recommend this store anytime!!

Every time I go into this store, I find their customer service is subpar. Most recently, I brought in a Craftsman wrench to be replaced on the lifetime guarantee. The ratchet part had broken. They asked me to check and see if they had it in stock, but they did not. So they took the wrench and had me fill out a form. She didnt even know how the process worked. (Ive had two replaced in the last couple of years and had to explain to her how I had received the other two in the mail...this shouldve been my red flag). I left the wrench with them. Forward 5 weeks later and still no wrench. I went into the store to inquire and the lady didnt even bother to help me. She shuffled in the drawer haphazardly, scratched a phone number down on a piece of paper and told me to call it. Seriously? Thats your customer service? I will drive to another city if I need anything from Sears again...if I cant find it somewhere else.UPDATE January 28, 2017: Attempted to contact Mr. Farris at his information below. He didnt bother to return my e-mail either. Its been 2 weeks.
