I like they have most of the time the freshest produce the bakery is awesome the meat is good the deli is spot on workers are nice a lil pricey bt I would refer my people

I was a little turned around at first from the Safeway back home in Belgrade, Montana. Our deli, produce, Starbucks, pastry, and florist are all on the entrance and exit side.. The pharmacy and meat department are on the other far side.I thought the floral arrangement was beautiful!

Its a good place, good variety for being a small town Safeway. I dont like self checkouts. Only one cashier open, even when the self checkout has 8 people waiting in line. As a customer I believe this inconvenience should be addressed by the management.

Love our local Safeway, sometimes they get a little backed up, but theres self checkout!

I always get kind and prompt service when I go here. There is a nice variety of the products I like such as ethnic foods, cheeses, better quality meats than Walmart and craft beers!

The store is always busy and has slow refilling of shelves.That said, the staff are nice but overwhelmed sometimes as its the only grocery store in the county.People come a hundred miles to buy meat and dairy here. The bakery is Very Good with a selection that usually is depleted by about 4pm for fresh-baked daily bread and pastries.They need more stuff and more staff, but the service is outstanding.We shop here twice a week and never regret going shopping here.

Love the produce selection! I live in Nm and everytime we take a trip I stop on the way home and get fruit and veggies.

Favorite grocery store in Trinadad!

Came to grab some snacks while we were on our road trip and I will never go here again. The restroom was a biohazard. There was blood spots all over the floor and feces. The whole store was filthy and no one, not even the management seemed like they wanted to work there. Very negative experience. I will make sure to avoid this store at all costs

Saved alot of money today by shopping at Safeway. Always a good thing, they are having a very nice sale on meat.

Absolutely the worst, most disgusting bathroom. Dirty mop buckets sitting around the food in the back. No cross contamination control. I will NEVER buy food from here.

This Safeway has everything. I asked for a phone charger- they had that also. The Deli has a wide variety of ready to eat food. This lady Tiffany in the pharmacy couldnt answer my questions so she just hung up on me because she couldnt explain herself. Thats what you get from this Safeway Pharmacy. Uneducated people that your depending on to get your meds right. Do yourself a favor and go to Hometown Pharmacy down the road who can serve customer service on a silver platter. Hanging the phone up on me trying to figure out my medicine is totally unacceptable Tiffany in Pharmacy! You should be canned!

Breakfast burrito was not prepared well at all. It was not edible.Fruits and OJ were ok.

Usually pretty fast able to get in and out. Prices are a little high but not too horrible. I did accidentally buy expired milk before and was unable to return it.

Shelves were empty, water and mess on large areas of store, produce moldy- not fresh. This is the dirtiest Safeway Ive ever been in, very disappointed!

It has been a long time since Ive seen commercial carpeting in a Safeway...or any large chain grocery. Strange, yet comfortable. The store features an excellent selection like all Safeway stores and has that extra bonus of a Starbucks in the corner near the front door.

Poor service seems people dont care anymore in this area.

Whats the point of having announcements and signs about wearing masks if customers can not wear them without recourse?Also, why arent there self checkout lanes for people that dont want ALL of their stuff touched by multiple other hands?This store would be better and much more accountable to the community if there was competition, like a King Soopers or a Natural Grocers.

Whats nice about this Safeway in Trinidad is there is a Starbucks inside. And they also sell fresh goat cheese from a local farmer. Those are the two reasons I stop by when Im traveling between the springs and Raton. They also have a gas station in the parking lot

Clean, they always have most products fully stocked except clorox. They never have clorox not sure if it sells out that fast but is so then they need to redo inventory and add 10x more clorox and whatever other product they run out of other then that is a 5 star .

The deli experience is terrible! Called ahead to get FRESH chicken and it wasnt fresh at all! Then i told the manager about it, and the employees told them it was fresh when it was all cold. Gave them two stars for the customer service from the manager, but NOT the employees. The people who worked at the deli on 1/21/21 needs to be FIRED! They lied to us the customer and the manager.

From my experience Safeway has better produce then Walmart idk if its because the store is a little smaller . But there meat is of better quality then Wal-Mart. Staff is friendly and everything always seems to move quickly. Clean well kept store with friendly employees.

This place is always a good place for whatever groceries you need. All safeways Ive been to, are really good places for food.

Its a nice well stocked grocery store, has the best Starbucks in Animas County.The entrance and exit doors are backwards, but thats neither here nor there.Room for RVs in parking lot.

Went on to get some steaks. Omg the steaks I got were great!! Fresh and tender. This store is always clean stocked and ready to serve its customers. The produce section was so neat I had to buy some lemons and limes.

The worker in the pharmacy was very nice.

There was a self checkout line wrapping around the store when I walked in, with only the self checkout open. I turned around and walked out.

The shelves were at least stocked. Went to get money and was told earlier they close at 8pm, they closed at 7pm! Very angry

We stopped by at this place during our trio to Colorado.While coming back from Colorado, we were looking for some magnets that we can take back home as momentos and Safeway was the place where we found number of magnets . Another added advantage was that this stire has Starbucks inside and its a good place to grab a coffee before you head out for a long drive.Overall good stuff and a nice clean store.There are several other shops in this marketplace and you may get whatever you need .Its right on the highway so easy to locate and you dont have to go too far

The store is well stocked and checkout was fast but almost half of the shoppers did not have a mask on. No wonder Covid has jumped in Trinidad.

We would have to say that this store is about average but anything is better than Walmart. A good portion of the time things in the produce section are in pretty bad shape and some of the ones that you buy when you get them home dont last but maybe two to three days before they mold or start thr rotting process. The meat section is not bad but there is no seafood section. Ice cream being the most important thing on the shopping list dont bother looking there because the selection is very bad.

The RUDEST employee Ive ever met! A woman working in the floral department accosted my daughter and myself when we came in to buy lunch and use the wifi at Starbucks. She attacked us and threatened us, for standing in her space and when the management told her to stop she still continued. I would recommend going ANYWHERE ELSE, this place is disgruntled! The manager was just a big guy from a different department, but he was kind and tried to help. We left without any lunch and will never go here again.

Well run grocery store. Prices compete with Wall Marts. Store employees are super courteous and after seeing a eared and tailed courtesy clerk, Ive decided the store can also be fun to visit.
