Very good experience. Someone was standing by the door and guide us to where we would like to go and what we would like to buy. At the checkout even though it was self checkout, the lady there told us one of our boxes lid was broken so I was able to go back and change it. It was very empty one Sunday morning. Good time to do shopping there.

They have everything you can imagine when it comes to home and yard projects (except large indoor furniture). You can get kitchen cabinets, countertops, sinks, drawer pulls, lighting, flooring, large and small appliances, drywall, paint, windows, siding, roofing, decking, cleaning supplies and much more. They also do repair and installation services.
Pros:-Nice store.-Quick in and out.-Convenient.Cons:-Cashiers were more concerned with communicating amongst themselves than to do their job and ring up a customer.-Limited cashiers know how to process Tax Exempt.
This was one of the nicest and cleanest Home Depots Ive been in in a long time. Every employee I passed said good morning and asked if I was finding everything okay. This Home Depot is doing it right!
Went to Home Depot today to find a cleaning solution after adhesive was left on the floor due to the tape from trying to socially distance throughout this past year. We met Forest in the tool rental department and she was more than helpful and actually found a solution we never would have thought have and it worked!! She was super pleasant, very informative and incredibly helpful! Thank you so much Forest for making this task not as daunting as we thought it would be!

Of all the Home Depots I shop, this one is the best. Great, friendly staff and items are always in stock and plentiful. I live within walking distance of the Southfield Rd. Home Depot, but Ill go to this one almost always.

How does this Home Depot get my orders ready for curbside faster than other locations, have them correct more often, and still have people available to answer my questions when I have to run in anyway because I screwed up and forgot to order something? Ive been repeatedly impressed. No sickening perfume or scented smell. Impressive.

I had a rough experience at the Madison Heights location on 6-4-21. I paid for fencing and rented a truck, waited an hour for it to be loaded just for them to tell me “sorry, we don’t have that fence”. I called Troy and spoke with Jim, the manager. He went out of his way to check on fencing inventory for me and they didn’t have what I needed either. He price matched fencing for me and covered my rental! I had a great experience with the employees at the Troy location as well and I will go out of my way to come here from now on. Thank you all so much Troy Home Depot!
Thank you to the incredibly helpful and friendly staff tonight! I needed pipe and fittings to fix a small gas leak with my water heater and the gentleman who helped us was fast, friendly, knew his stuff, and that made the trip quick and painless. I needed help in several other departments to grab a few tools and there were people everywhere who had the answers. Im impressed with this store!

Clean store. Staff are service minded. But appliance center staff were missing. Came back to the desk after 30 minutes of waiting and annoucement from customer service. Lazy attitudes made the purchase did not taken place.Large Garden center. Lot of verities of plants.Lot of parking and fair pricing.
Other than having problems with keeping spray paint in stock,the employees are super helpful if you need them.😊
Home depot is refusing to properly issue my reimbursement check and is sending me e gift cards instead. Ive stated on 3 occasions I dont want a gift certificate, I would like a check so that I can shop where I please. I need this money to replace the fridge I purchased from Home Depot in November 2017. I have an 18 month old son who I am not able to properly nourish without a working fridge. Home depot and Assurion were informed that the fridge wasnt working in September 2020, its March 2021. I called today and was told my check is lost. I would love to speak with someone in the legal department regarding this.

The window project service is too bad. I ordered a window from here. The sales person Robert promised me the delivery time on contract including pandemics delay. but it’s still delayed another month. Every time I contacted him, there was no response. No one contacted me neither. When the window eventually delivered, the installation people told me it’s produced in wrong way. They put it upside down. They can’t install it. Almost at the same time, several person including the responsible person Mark contacted me to ask if the window satisfies me. I told them the problem. Every one promised me the new one will be produced and installed within two weeks. Mark told me I can contact with him anytime. Again lies. No one contacted me later and no further information, no installation, and no refund. I put my order the January 1st. Now it’s endless waiting. No more response.
I had an issue with a Ryobi string trimmer; my issue was resolved, without hesitation, by Nicole and Connor from customer service. Because of the fantastic service that I received, The Home Depot in Troy, will receive my business, for years to come!
I visit this store most of the times for my small/big projects, I would like to mention that most of the staff are very helpful, but one person always stands out i.e. Yaoming, he gives you suggestions/solutions that fixes your problems, that makes my life easy, so that I can go home and do my updates, they also have most stuffs on stock.
I went in this morning to purchase a simple 100ct box of razors. The 1st employee I asked escorted me to the wrong isle. When he realized I would require further assistance. He just pointed and told me to check out a different isle. I couldn’t locate the blades in that isle so I found yet another employee who didn’t even get up from his spot and with no effort what so ever. Waived me to yet another isle where I was again, unsuccessful in locating my item. So THEN, I went to “customer service” after explaining that I had already spoken with other employees, I asked if she could please just get me to the box of razor blades I am trying to find. It really shouldn’t be this difficult. She sends me back to the very first isle I went to.... I went anyway, maybe I just didn’t see them. I looked on every space and nope. No razors. So then I went back to the same “customer service” lady and explained to her again what I needed. Now that I came back, pulling her away from whatever Snapchat filter she was playing with. Now, SHE’S annoyed with ME. This time I had to point out the item on her device and then give me this really snotty attitude when directing me to what isle I’m to set off to now. I would NEVER recommend this store to anyone who is going to require assistance. This Home Depot obviously participates in some government program to hire the otherwise unemployable, social Neanderthals. Try Lowe’s

Worse store ever, Managers does try to assist when a problem arises. once you purchase a major appliance there delivery service wont deliver when they supposed to and then they lie you ask for assistance from the store Managers they lie been trying to get 3 appliances delivered sinceApril 14 its now July no stove no refrigerator and no dishwasher these are a few of the excuses 1.refrigerator not in get2.Refrigerator dented at warehouse and cant deliver just two items stove and dishwasher3rd Attempt cant refrigerator dented againCant take stove off truck thundering and lighting and cant hook up dishwasher no turn off valves under the sink. The delivery guy was very nasty never took anything off the truck and just left call the store Manager Ben 🙄 and was told delivery people are a third party and there was nothing he could do basically rescheduled the delivery again and was assured that all the appliances would be delivered now all my food is setting on my counter top another two we delivery for July 3rd took off from work again sat and waited all day a no show called the store talked to Manager Jim he going to look into it can call me back. No call.Called backed talked Brient and was I have good new and some bad new the delivery guys said they tried to deliver to and no one was home lie! lie! lie!Setting right here all %$^% day the delivery company cancer your Refrigerator order and refunding your money but the good is thatwe can deliver your dishwasher and stove in two more weeks. I SO DONE WITH THIS STORE AND THERE SO CALL MANAGERS WHO ACTUALLY REFUSE TO HELP.

Connor is AMAZING! Most helpful person I’ve ever spoken to at Home Depot before. He was working at the Service Desk when I called and he was very knowledgable and kind. I’ve called other Home Depot stores around the area and almost always I get someone who is either very unknowledgable and useless and/or poor customer service skills and attitude. Order online pick up is a disaster, not just here but at every Home Depot. Never doing that again. They get the wrong item and then take half hour to get the right one. Its quicker to just go there and get it yourself.
Used curbside to pickup 2 unassembled rocking chairs. Never had to leave the car. This service rocks. They came to the car within minutes of checking in on the app.

Clean, but was told that the item I was looking for was not in stock. I went and found the item myself.
The companies they have delivering are the worst. It took 7 weeks to get the LG refrigerator I bought in and the delivery company they use had the worst attitude from the moment he walked in and it went downhill from there. A few cuss words from both of us and they refused to deliver to my house again lol. Then I ordered a Texas Longhorn smoker which weighed about 200# and they said they could essentially bring it to my walkway and its unassembled in a beat up but, kind of difficult for me to move myself. P.S. I went to Lowes and got the exact refrigerator 2 hours later and delivered the next morning for the same price and their delivery guys were nice and professional. Had I known I could get it that fast I would have gone to Lowes first....
I regularly visit several Home Depot stores, depending on the area I happen to be in. Unlike some others, this one almost always has the item I want in stock. There are also plenty of knowledgeable assistants available in the aisles and the store and shelves items are better maintained than most.

Dont go for flooring project. They take forever to complete. Every time you ask the status, lot of excuses about the material availability and most probably lies ( you get different answers every time you call)

I Love the Troy store they have such a great selection of home Improvement things I can do myself. I bought pretty stick-on Backsplash Tiles for $11.98 per Section (many styles & colors)and also Plastic Metal looking Decorative Stamp Backsplash pieces at $20 for like a 3×3 panel and self-adhesive for $4.95. The store is also very well stocked. The Help and Customer Srvc. are Wonderful. Thank you and Happy Decorating 😊

I needed a rental pickup truck urgently and i went to other Home Depot but there was nothing available, finally went to this one on Coolidge and i was able to rent a truck. What you need is your driver license and insurance, plus a deposit of $150, it took me about 2h and cost $31.8 so they returned the rest of the money $118.20 to my account. One last thing is that you get the truck with full gas so you need to replace the gas you use. In my case it was $10

This Home Depot keeps items in stock. Like doing business here for the most part but the recent hires of service reps in returns is less than desirable. Blaming the customer when its clearly an issue with their return system is not good customer service. These return reps need to be trained on better customer service.
Great Home Depot location. Got to know the people pretty well while finishing the basement and renovating the bathroom. (Spent around $20k in materials for those two projects).Customer service is pretty excellent. I think they have their best people there.The rest is relatively mediocre - many of the people sitting at the various desks (I.e. flooring, appliances, etc.) really dont want to be there. They should just find a job elsewhere if they cant be bothered to actually help somebody who has a question or just needs help buying something. They could honestly be replaced with a laptop with an FAQ repository, live chat, and an online check-out.Many of the people there cant answer any actual questions as to the quality of the different tools or make an informed recommendation as to which things you should actually buy based on what you need, because nobody seems to have any actual building / construction experience, so do your research online and know what you need before getting there.

They were out of what we wanted, so they gave us a discount on a similar item that was more expensive but essentially the same thing. I thought this was very accommodating. I wouldnt expect that everytime, but it was a nice relief during the holidays not to have to spend extra money unexpectedly.Store was otherwise well stocked.
I choose this Home Depot over the other two Home depots near my home. This location is huge and has a lot of options. The staff are friendly and very helpful. A gentleman in light bulbs took the time to introduced me to smart light bulbs and they are excellent! I always find what I need at this location.

I was suppose to be issued a reimbursement check not a e gift card for my refrigerator on 02/18/2021. On 03/11/2021 I learned my check was being issued since I called on 03/10/2021 notifying the company I was awaiting payment. Where is my money?? Why does Home Depot keep blaming Assurion for their own shortcomings? Im struggling to feed my 19 month old son and this company has known about my broken/irreparable fridge well over 6 months. Can a representative please contact me? I call in everyday hoping someone will have a heart a return my funds. If not for me, then please for my 19 month old.

So I ordered a closet door it was pre measured to the correct measurements took it in to home Depot and they some how changed the measurements without telling me so it did not fit when I got the door I take it back now theyre charging me a 50% restocking fee because of their mistake wont be doing business with this company ever again so menards it is!!

Home Depot is by far my favorite place to shop for anything home improvement based I work for an industrial supply company and I actually tell people that if its just a few things just go to Home Depot because theyre going to have it and they have a good price point of course I go for the big orders and would tell them not to go to Home Depot and plus they they wanted 200 stainless steel bolt but if theyre just buying a couple it makes complete sense I go to Home Depot for a lots of odds and ends stuff to conduits and piping and a lot of different things that wouldnt make any sense to have shipped from my work and even our tools are very competitive at Home Depot theyre always running deals and different packages to get you to buy their items are particularly really like DeWalt cuz my brand of choice for a while I wrestled with buying Milwaukee exclusively but I decided that being a homeowner it doesnt make a lot to only buy in Milwaukee when DeWalt works just as well for quite a while.

Ordered store pickup for Dec 23, email was sent at 1:54pm that item was at the store. I called at 6:30pm. My order hadnt been taken off the truck, customer service said call back in 1 hour. I called back at 7:45. Still not off the truck. 8:45 still no pickup email. Store closes @9pm. Customer Service tell me that the truck unloaders dont come in till evening. My order sat all day without being unloaded off the truck. I will never order online at Home Depot again. No excuse for poor in store pickup
Went in for a job interview. I was early. The interview went well (my opinion). The manager said he has to conduct two more interviews and he would call me to tell me the outcome of my interview.I called him back maybe a month later and he says he still hasnt completed those two interviews and he will call me back at their conclusion.It has been 4 months and Ive heard nothing. No email. No text message. No phone call.I can take a hint. I wont call and I wont ask any more. Ive got plenty of work to do around the house anyway. Ive got lots to do for myself, to improve myself. Im not needy. Im not clingy. Im not co-dependent.
The person in electrical was so helpful I wish I got their name. I wish corporate would see this the place is the best Home Depot.

Staff was very nice, courteous and prompt. Did an order pickup for my husband and was able to get everything without a fuss. We picked up on the 4th so I was either expecting it to be super busy or things missing but everything went great.
Went in there to buy a condensation pump, 30 minutes and talked to 5 associates and left without buying it, non of them knew where theyre located

I have ordered online twice this week. Both items are broken. The first time was a mini refrigerator, I took home and find out the box was re sealed. The refrigerator was scratched, used, and missing a drawer. I needed to bring the refrigerator back and purchase a new one in the store.Today, I went to pick up a landscape rake I ordered online. The cashier, Shannae, brought my order out and a piece was broken. She told me if I don’t like this one, I can go fine one in the aisle 53. I went to the aisle, and couldn’t find the same rake (this is a professional soil rake). I went back the her - then she finally checked the computer and told me they didn’t have any inventory. And asked me “Do you want to buy the broken one?” (who will pay $50 for a broken rake?)During the whole process, when I was running around in the store, she never provided any help or even said she was sorry that they gave me a broken item to pick up. Her attitude was quite rude and unprofessional. This is so not the Home Depot I used to go to. Especially, as this happened twice in one week with online orders. I would rather save my money to purchase on Amazon and it will be cheaper and free shipping!

Employees here at the lumber section are pretty much vegetables. If you ask them to cut your lumber or a board, they will send you out a quest to find someone else. When you finally find that someone else, that person would send you out another quest of finding the first one who gave you the first quest. Looping back and forth to find a person who can do a simple cutting is the most difficult thing in this home depot.
